"This is my first order from 6pm. Price was great, shipping time was awesome, and the shoes were as advertised. I am completely satisfied with my transaction. I'm tired of folks slamming a retailer for return shipping charges - read the agreement - YOU ordered it, YOU pay for shipping. Period. Nobody forced you to buy here. Remember - FedEx, UPS and USPS do NOT ship anything for FREE - you will pay for shipping one way or another - whether it's included in the original purchase price or you pay for it separately, YOU are paying for shipping. Wake up, people! Personally I would rather agree to pay to ship it back rather than have the return shipping charges ADDED INTO the original cost, whether I return the item or not. And, if my shoes don't fit because THIS Nike size 11 runs differently from other Nike size 11s, it's my problem, not 6pm's. Do some research - if you are unsure, go to the shoe store at the Mall and try them on and then pay them FULL retail. Stop blaming the online retailer for your laziness. I will definitely order again from 6pm.com, I saved about 50% on my shoes and it was a great experience."

"6pm has been far and away my favorite online place to buy shoes. I'd be embarrassed to admit how many I've bought in the last few months, all the Ryan Rowe brand, which they have had on-sale for 80-85% off list price. As long as you understand their policies, they are great to deal with. The prices of their big sale items are always way, way less than you can find anywhere else (you can also get Bing cashback on your purchases), they ship very quickly with email notification of tracking numbers, and returns within 30 days are handled easily.

The people who give them negative reviews seem upset because they make you pay return shipping and they don't refund when the price goes down after you buy something. But as long as you understand this going in (and you should before buying anything online), I don't see the problem. I returned 2 of the 13 shoes I bought (there, I admitted it), and the customer service was excellent and the refund came quickly.

Really, the best way to take advantage of what they offer is to shop the stuff that is reduced in the 75-85% range, and buy in bulk to take advantage of the fixed shipping cost. It also helps to know what you're getting; if you're the type who returns half of the shoes/clothes you buy, they are definitely not the place for you.

Beware!! This is a very bad company to do business with. In
several years of frequent online shopping this is my worst
experience so far. Customer service is non-existent. Zappos
apparently owns 6PM.com and it must be where Zappos dumps their
problem merchandise. Be aware that if you order a pair of shoes
from 6PM and something is wrong with them, you will be on the
hook for roundtrip shipping costs - which can total $20.00 or
more - when you have to return them. They have deliberately
disabled the customer review feature on each product page - a
customer "service" rep admitted that to me - so that when a
customer has a problem with something ordered they cannot post
any comment which could help a future customer in deciding
whether to order the item. This amounts to intentional
concealment of information which is relevant to a purchase
decision. It made me feel like I had been scammed. Their prices
are not low enough to make it worth the risk of ordering from
them. There are other footwear websites with prices comparable to
6PM which have much better customer service and business
policies.

"I am very satisfied with 6pm.com.I have placed 3 orders so far.I have been shopping online for years and realize that there are several risks involved.I just received my latest order today.It only took three days to receive my order. I read some of the negative reviews and noticed that someone used their debit card.Next time try billmelater.com instead of your bank info.Using your debit card any where is a risk especially online shopping. Also, someone mentioned the return policy.Returning items are always a pain no matter where you are ordering from.
6pm.com has great prices and fast shipping. I bought several pair for under $15 so if the shoes did not fit, I knew returning them would not be worth the hassle. I have ordered a total of 11 pairs of shoes and each one are of good quality and fit perfectly. Thanks 6pm.com for your existence.

"I discovered 6pm just by chance and decided to order some shoes. The prices were great and delivery very fast. Only problem was that some of the shoes were 2 to 3 sizes too small and I had to return them. I think the manufacturers or 6pm should advertise the product as being sized incorrectly. that way youdon't have to waste your money or suffer the inconvenience of returning them. I gave away several as I had bought over 2 dozen pairs (the price is that good) and I returned others. But I would shop there again just won't buy those brands that are incorrectly sized. "

"The absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced. 6pm.com arbitarily changes prices of items (items that are not part of their weekly sales, I should add), then refuses to honor price adjustments. Instead, they would have you take the time and incur the cost of sending the product back and reordering it at the new price, so they can turn around and incur the cost of reprocessing your credit card and sending your same order right back. Anyone with half a brain and an iota of business savvy would know that a simple price adjustment would cost them less than reprocessing an order and losing a repeat customer. I can't think of any other website or store that does not honor price adustments. I won't shop there again."

"I was very happy with my purchase from 6pm.com. However, I was very disappointed to find that a pair of running pants that I had purchased had a small hole in them. When I contacted 6pm.com to initiate a return, they emailed me back the next day apologizing, telling me they refunded my money, and to keep the pants! I don't even have to bother sending them back! Good service. "

"*** Buyer Beware: No Price Adjustments as of Nov. 09 ***
Just bought a handbag from 6pm.com. Paid $241 for the bag. The day I got it (7 days later), the bag was on sale for $187. I emailed customer service, and they told me that there are no price adjustments after November, 2009. This policy is NOT listed on their web site. Instead, customer service suggested I return the bag, pay for return shipping, then repurchase the bag for the sale price (and pay another $6.95 for shipping). They won't make exceptions for good customers. Needless to say, I am returning the bag, and am never buying from 6pm again.

"Ordered 2 pair of Adidas sneakers. List price for both was over $180. 6pm.com sold them both for $64.00 plus $6.95 shipping. We ordered on 12/6/09 and received them on 12/9/09.

I have never had this level of speed, discount and satisfaction from an online retailer. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to save a LOT of money. Their prices change daily so check the store often if you looking for something special.

"Buyer beware!!! Poor return policy!!! Lack of quality control. And, supervisors who are not customer service oriented! I ordered a 32 in. Nat Nast swim suit. they sent a small (waist measures 28 in. inside, 30 in. outside) . I returned at their expense items they again shipped small even though e-mail told them of problem. they will credit my account but i must pay to ship. Talked with supervisor who said it was my problem because they say Nat Nast listed it (32 in.) as small. Nat Nast was not the manufacturer (since out of bix) and a call to Nat Nast says 32 in. is usually a med. 6pm.com basically told me to fly a kite that it did not matter the physical measurement was 28-30 to them it was a 32. In e-mail stated “We are not responsible for the sizing of this product. You are welcome to return the item…for the best results, you really do need to try them on (dah its “e” not a store!) . Never again...will i do biz with 6pm.com they need to some quality control & more customer service oriented people."

"LOVE this site~! I discovered this store about a year ago and have ordered 25 pairs of shoes from them in the past year. One pair did not fit, and one pair had a strap break after the second wearing, but honestly, I am paying less than $20.00 a pair for these shoes. Where else could you do that? I bought my teenage son sandals at Payless Shoe Source this summer and they were more than 20 bucks. Sure, 6pm's return policy is crap, but if you know that going in, it's totally worth it to get some fabulous shoes at rock-bottom prices. As for the 2 pairs I mentioned before, I gave the pair that didn't fit to a friend (who was thrilled) and threw the broken pair in the trash. Love 6pm and will continue to buy more shoes there!"

"I order size 6 Blowfish boots (only 2 pairs left). Size 6 is on the invoice, the final bill, and the receipt in the box. I open them up, and the boots are size 7 1/2!!! And for THEIR incompetence - I'M charged for shipping and RETURN SHIPPING...this is a merchant who has no respect for his customers."

"When they run their one day sales, they offer good prices. Unfortunately, their customer service policies are very unfavorable towards their customers.

1) You have to pay a flat rate for shipping to you. This is not unreasonable but plenty of other shoe etailers offer free shipping.
2) You have to pay the full cost for return shipping, which can be expensive since shoes can be bulky and big. I payed ~$12 to ship back one pair of shoes. Many shoe etailers offer free returns.
3) The refuse to combine orders to save the customer shipping costs even though they do not actually ship out the orders for up to a week later. This is not an issue with etailers who offer free shipping.
4) They do not allow exchanges so your only option is return and re-purchase. Since their sales last only a day, by the time you get the shoes and realize they don't fit, they have raised the price several times over what you paid. I am not aware of any other shoe etailer with such an unfriendly policy.

Essentially, their business model is built on making it as difficult and expensive as possible for the customer to return unwanted items. You are out big $ even if you do return the shoes. Because of this, I would strongly advise to only purchase shoes from them if you are fairly sure of the brand/fit or are prepared to get rid of unwanted items some other way. If not, you will be stuck with expensive mistakes that are not worth it to return.

I also want to point out that ebags sold 6pm.com to zappos several years ago, and zappos has in turn been acquired by Amazon.
