"What a scam! The only thing this company is good at is Bait and Switch!

I ordered a JVC Highbred camcorder from them today. I received an email asking me to call and confirm my order. When I did reach the sales group I was told that the battery and the charger was not included and I could add it for $200 more. The website listing for the camcorder very clearly list the battery and charger are INCLUDED with the camcorder.

I immediately canceled my order and called my credit card company to alert them to this fraud. You might want to as well to protect your credit.

"Same complaint as most of the others. Ordered, required to call to confirm. When I would not yield to their high pressure sales pitch to purchase "additional merchandise" that were orginally in the mfg box from the factory, I was advised the Nuvi 880 was out of stock. Out of curosity I called the sales line and ask if they were in stock and was infomred they had lots of them. The only catch was, that the ones they had in stock were $100.00 more than the one I ordered. I canceled my order."

"I odered a camera and still don't have it 3 months later. They have complaints all over the internet about not shippign the cameras at all but shipping the over priced accessories they try to sell you first. This company needs to be closed down for fraud!"

"Same deal as almost everyone else. First, they informed me two days after I ordered the product that I needed to call to confirm. When I called to confirm they tried to sell me other things.

After a couple weeks the order still hadn't shipped, so I emailed customer service. I received a poorly proof-read email stating that the product was out of stock and would ship in 4-6 weeks. Several weeks later I inquired again and received another hastily written email (form letter or otherwise) stating that the product was out of stock and would ship in 5-6 weeks. I emailed them asking for a real answer, noting that the product was still listed as shipping in 2-3 days on their website. No response. A couple weeks later I tried calling during their supposed regular business hours. The message on the phone told me I was calling during off hours and to call during regular business hours. I sent another email. They responded the next day telling me that the product was backordered for 6-8 weeks, and would I like to be put on the backorder list or cancel the order. Well, I sure hoped I'd been on the backorder list since I had previously informed them that I was waiting on the product. At this point I decided it was time to cancel the order and start writing bad reviews.

What a complete waste of time. I hope they don't do anything awful with my credit card information."

This website is a scam, and they suck at that too. order item, get e-mail telling you to call and confirm only try to sell you a 10.00 SD card for 179.00 when you say no,they to reduce the price to 79.00 when you refuse they "cancel" your order and do not try to call them, they are closed even when you call during business hours.
IF this site is not shut down shortly.

"The most rediculous and non sense service i ever received from any store in the US, i wish i could warn every customer not to ever, ever and ever buy anything from this fraudulant merchant and avoid misery,discomfort and agony. They have no respect for your time or money, you will be put on hold for at least an hour and then for any order you place, you will receive a message full of rubbish telling you that they do not have this item in stock and will be available in 4-6 weeks. "These Guys are crooks from the word GO!!!!! do not order anything. They are bait and switch specialists who prey on unsuspecting honest peopole with totaly infurating methods. They hang up on you as soon as they realize that all you want is just what you ordered and they cannot sell additional accessories at extremely inflated prices. I thought our laws were better than this. I ordered from them on 10-4-08 a Canon SD1100 for 129.99+14.00 shipping. two days after my order I received an e-mail that stated I should call to verify my order. This is two days later mind you. So... I called only to get a hard sell on accessories. I stated that I had all the accessories that I needed and only want the Camera. He immediately hung up. I thought, How rude. Two hours later I got an e-mail that said The Camera was out of stock and that there would be a 3 to 4 week wait for them to ship. I knew based on the behavior of the phone personnel that I was in trouble. I had given my Debit card number to them and was at this point Scared as hell. I know better than to give a debit card number but just this one time........I called back to cancel the order and was hung up on 3 times before I could manage to keep anyone on long enough to get the order cancelled. I stated to them at that time that I not only wanted to cancel my order, but that I wanted to sever my relationship with them. I got an immediate click. She hung up on me too!!. Well, I'm worried out of my witts. About 5 minutes later I got an e-mail acknowledging my request to cancel and my request to sever our relationship. WHEW!!!!! I hope that my writing this will dispell any thoughts you might have had to do business with this online PREDATOR. "

"Purchased camacorder online. Next day received email saying I needed to call to verify purchase. I called they gave me the super-pushy hard sell on extra batteries, extended warranty, accessory packages. I told them I didn't want that just the camcorder. The guy I spoke to then said the item was in stock and would arrive in 7 to 10 business days. 2 hours later I receive an email saying the item is out-of-stock, backordered and it would be 3 to 4 weeks before they received any more. I called (waited 20 minutes) to see what was happening and they could care less. I simply cancelled my order and went to look for some one who was honest."

"BAD NEWS - Be careful - they have unbelievable prices, then you order and they can't deliver. I waited two months and they kept telling me it is coming, it is just on backorder. I finally cancelled order and called back and asked for in stock items listed on their website for HD camcorders - every single item I asked about wasn't available. I asked for any Canon in stock, Sony in stock, any brand and they said there wasn't anything they could ship. This is some kind of scam - PLEASE BEWARE. I wasted time waiting for them to fulfill the order, time waiting on hold for them to just answer a phone (usual wait 17 to 20 minutes), and wasted a lot of frustration on this vendor. Do not shop here."

"Where do I begin. This company is gives good companies on the internet a bad name. This company does everything but give the customer what they ordered. Do not order from this company they bait and switch you and over charge for accessories. They say the offer the lowest prices guaranteed and that is a bold faced lie. When they make a mistake they take everything and twist it into a he said we said and almost everything on their website can be purchased at a lower price anywhere else on the web. Their product pictures on their websites are not the same as the ones I ordered. They sent me the wrong lens for the camera and when I asked them to correct it they said they wouldn't and when I asked them for the $50 difference in my order back they claimed they had already sent me a lens and they said they could only give me a $50 gift certificate at their store. I believe, they truly are out to get as much money out of you as possible and their policies about restocking fees, once received you cannot return it without returning the whole order after 72 hours, etcetera. This company is a joke. Don't get hurt or have one headache after another. If you don't agree to what they say they hang up on you even if you have not used any foul or abusive language when all you want is the items you ordered or a credit back to your credit card. When you call back they hang up on you again once you give them your order number even though they owe you outstanding items from the order. Don't order from them. You'll regret it. I did."

"Ordered online and was advised by email that my order was being processed. Next email asked me to call "Chris" to confirm my order. Sunday 8/21/08 I spoke to Chris, who tried to sell me several overpriced accessories so that my camera would work for more than 30 minutes. All to familiar routine.
Next day an email advised me that they were suddenly out of stock and would put me on a back order list of about 3 to 4 weeks.

this routine seems all to common and should be sent to the fraud department of the State in which these businesses are licensed.

"I didn't think any business could be that blatantly unscrupulous. Ordered a Garmin 780 and was told I would get a tracking number shortly. They called for more 'information' and tried to sell me a map update subscripyion when Garmin will automatically update your maps upon registration[ per Garmin Rep].Just called them again [86th Street video] and they told me it would be another 3-4 weeks for shipping yet their website shows 1-2 days. They achieved what they wanted and I cancelled the order as I doubt they would hve ever shipped as I didn't buy their update purchase at a very high price. "Swith and Bait' just a different version. "This store is really bad:

- I place order Tuesday Sep 10th, 2008 for a Cannon digital camera. An email sent to me and notified me that they star processing order.

- They sent 2 emails to me Sunday sep 15th (after 4 days). One email asked me to call them back to verify something. The last email just notified me that "per my request, they order has been cancelled" (I never told them to cancel to order.

- When I called them back, they said they have no intventory and they can be available after 2 weeks!!! Then hang up on me before I question them. When I called them back right away, the v-mail just said they closed!

They are just not trustable and lier and cheat! This is the 1st time for me to encounter such a jerk online company.

We will NEVER buy from this company again as they have wasted our time!!!"

"These guys sent us a refurbished Garmin unit and they wouldn't take back our order since it was 7 days after purchase. I have my email exchange between myself and Garmin when they let me know that the unit was refurbished:

Also, they sold us a completely unnecessaryly high end SD card. Again, they would not take it back since it was part of a "package deal". They side they would send us useless glass cleaner and wipes and a $50 gift certificate. The glass cleaner and wipes came but no gift certificate.

Please look very closely at their return policy. It is insane and misleading. Even though they say 21 days it is in fact only 7 for anything digital (which is everything they sell)."
