"I purchased operating system software over the internet through A2Z and received it very quickly. When installing the software I initially had difficulty getting it to register properly. I emailed A2Z tech support and received a telephone response from them within 2 hours of sending the email. Yes, you read that last line correctly, a telephone response within 2 hours of sending the email!!!! They were able to give me the information needed to correct the problem and assured me the product would be replaced if the issue couldn't quickly be resolved. I had no problem registering the software, per A2Z tech support instructions, and have not had any problems since. I would definitely recommend A2Z Computers to anyone."
"AVIOD THIS MERCHANT
I ordered a 19" viewsonic monitor after websearch showed my item was in stock at A2ZComputers. 6-7 days later, I called when item had not arrived and was told that item was out of stock, AND WOULD I LIKE TO PURCHASE ANOTHER MONITOR!!! Where I come from, this is called bait-and-switch. I cancelled
my order and asked if my CC was charged yet. The
person said that a charge had been entered, but that they would would cancel that by EOD. I called my CC co. and made sure that they cleared the charge.
I looked up the same item today at their website
(2 weeks later!) and the item is STILL SHOWN AS IN-STOCK (Viewsonic p90f)"
"Don't know what the fuss is about. Maybe I got lucky, maybe only the dissatisfied write reviews. For my part I ordered 2 graphics cards, got confirmation of the order, got a FedEx tracking number, then got exactly what I ordered a few days later.
What more can you ask?"
"I bought a 4 year old IBM P260 21" monitor from these people. Unlike the many other sellers, they claimed it was "unused" and still under warranty from IBM. I did not think they could legally get away with such a bald face lie, so I went for it. It is well used, and scratched. But worst of all, the picture was so bright it was unusable and could not be adjusted. I did some research on the internet and discovered it was a common problem with these and some other monitors. I was able to fix it with a resistor and a soldering iron. But the convergence is off and so is the color purity. I did not want a used monitor, and would have paid an extra $140 if I had known this was a rip off!"
"Again, another story about the $139 Asus V9999 Ultra 256MB. I was reluctant to even make the order based on previous reviews, but did so anyway because of the price. In defense of PCH4U, a company is in business to make money. Should they have fulfilled the thousands of orders they received, it would mean a loss of millions with cost being in the high $200s to low $300s for the card. No company would fulfill such an order when they can avoid it and because they are not charging there is pretty much nothing to be done. If you find yourself to have been charged, you're in business and can take up small claims charges.
Ask yourself: "Too good to be true?"
Caveat Emptor. Buyer beware."
"I ordered my card, and they sent an email saying that there was a typing misprint. What horrible service is this. Isnt this illegal?? Dont order from them they change prices after you order."
"very dissatisfied with this company. They do not honor their prices. Cancelled my order without even an email. Will not shop with again and will advise all my friends and associates to avoid this company."
"Stick to your guns ove the graphics card. If you have placed an order it is a legally binding contract. They have made an "Offer of sale", it doesn't matter what the price is. They are legally entitled to provide goods.
See a similar case here.

They had to honour it, so do pchardware4u.
Someone start a forum on it....

"Ordered product on October 31, 2004. Product was canceled due to price error. No emails, no phone calls, etc. Very disappointed with this vendor. "
"Caution! Warning!
This company or rather the owner, is a certified pirate that has been busted selling counterfeit software. There are no ethics with this company. Even after being 'caught' by the FBI, they continued selling bogus software. You should not trust your credit card with a business as scumy as A2Z Computers. The owner also operates another business called pchardware4u.com located at the same address as A2Z. Avoid this company as well. To read the full story cut and paste the link below.

"Warning! DO Not Order from this online retailer.
I ordered a Samsung SD-616TRP drive and they sent me
a SD616BEB drive. Their ordering info and invoice clearly says SD-616TRP and yet they sent me a completely different drive. The software that they sent is burned to CD-R and is downloaded versions
and not full versions.
DO NOT Order From A2Z , you wil regret it!"
"Just ordered a hard to find video card from A2Z to be delivered overnight. This card was very important for us to get and I was really happy that A2Z had it. I went online and read some reviews and found that A2Z was recieving a number of bad reviews. I called to confirm that my order would in fact ship today to be recieved tomorrow and a very rude lady informed me that it was not in stock. Yes, the website says in stock. Absolutely ridiculous. I promptly cancelled my order and came online to warn others about this shady business. DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO ORDER FROM THEM."
"The worst customer service I've had in years. When approached about a defective item, they actually said, "IT'S NOT OUR FAULT". They wouldn't give me my money back. Just because they're online doesn't excuse them from providing customer service. WITH ALL THE OPTIONS ONLINE, DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS SELLER."
"This was the only company that claimed to have the product that I needed in stock. I ordered it. My credit card was promptly charged. After two days I called them to find the status as their web site told me the order was still being processed. I was informed that the item was no longer available.
I will take this up with my credit card company and the BBB. They are apparently a scam outfit. "
"I ordered an Adaptec 29160 SCSI controller from A2Z, online. Their website's "Complete Product Description" listed features and specs and stated cables were included. I thought I was purchasing the AD29160 kit. I got a small brown box filled with styrofoam peanuts, a board in a anti-static bag, and a Memorex CD-R disc, apparently containing drivers. I called A2Z and their customer service doesn't answer, nor does the operator, so , I went to a sales person and actually was able to talk to a human being. I explained to "Tim" that what I thought I ordered included cables since that is how it is presented on the website. He said I ordered the OEM product that does not include cables. He asked for my invoice # and phone number and said he would call back. He never did. I think the product desription is misleading since it states that more is included than actually is. I will not order from A2Z again, nor will I recommend them.
Update: 8/18/2004
It turns out the product was DOA. I also noticed there was a lot of dust on the board, yet it was sold as a new product and it came in an anti-static bag. This bothered me more than the fact that the board was DOA, since it was sold as new. Take a look at this URL and see what you think: "
