"This company is horrible to do business with. I really wish i had looked at this site prior to making an order. It took over 4 weeks for the one item to ship, and now that I have sent it back, i am still getting email that I have an overdue balance."

"Terrible experience! Took 1 month after I placed the order to receive the shipment. One item was incorrect. I returned it, and never received the correct item. Every time I call customer service, the operator recorder says "All circuits are busy". There is no email address to complain to. Another item I ordered, the one I wanted the most, keeps getting switched from backorder to freight hold. So I'm never going to get that item either!"
"This was my first and last order I'll ever place with the company. I had no idea they have such terrible customer service. I ordered about 6 items in total and received 2 of them broken and 1 was missing entirely. I went online and told them about the missing and broken items. The missing item was immediately credited off and they sent me a return shipping label for the broken items...which was good. However, before the label arrived they were calling me about the account eventhough I had already paid everything except for the broken/returned items. When you call their customer service (as they ask you to do when you check your account) you get put in a waiting loop. I've called 3 times and never got to speak to anyone at all. One of their reps in collections called me about the unpaid balance. When I explained that I was waiting for the label they said had been sent she said she would note that but she could not stop an collection calls. I finally got the labels and shipped the damaged items back and hopefully I'm done with them. I could kick myself for not doing some due diligence on their company before buying. Lots of people where I work receive their catalog but I've never heard much about problems. But, I never asked anyone either...my bad. It also sucks that they have an online payment option but when you get to the end, you find out there is a charge for using it. That should be disclosed up front."
"abc is HORRIBLE regarding customer service. It takes too long to getthings shipped. Ittakes on average 2-3 weeks for shiopments to arive once they are shipped. The merchandise is fair quality for the price. The shipping policy is awful. The price of the merchandise is negated by the shipping costs. Trying to make a return is a nightmare. Once you sit on hold for 20+ minutes for customer service (not a toll-free call), they will hang up on you. Most of the time an English speaking representative is hard to come by. I have placed over $1600 in orders with abc, but will not place any more. I now have another distributor that I'm trying. I only hope it is better."

"on 10/4/04 I opened an account and ordered 12 items. I asked how long untill my items would be delivered. she told me a week. on 10/18/04 i called to see why i hadn't recieved it and they told me that they were just sending it out today. that it takes a week to process and it will be 7 to 10 days before i would recieve my items. i decided to talk to the supervirsor and let her know that i was in a cituation that i needed these items by the 20th no later than the 25th and she told me it was to late to cancel and that i would have to pay extra shiping if i wanted to reorder. i told her i was upset that they could do this and she told me that she would talk to the person i ordered from. like that was going to help me! "I like the other posters have previously ordered from ABC, I never payed attention to the fact that they do ship seperately until i read the postings. I myself have been given the reasons that the oether posters have. I also can never get through with customer service at the NON-toll free number, I faxed my order the week of 8/20/04 and here it is 9/08/04 and they still havent shipped my order that was backordered for three months, that I wound up cancelling half the order. There are mail-rder catalogs out there that sell the exact same merchandise with no difference for maybe one dollar more if they have captured on your flaws then you might want to watch that becuase I am sur ethey will be stealing your business."
"This company's customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with! I cancelled an order online on a Tues., checked to see if it went through the next day, it was still in the system. I cancelled it again every day afterwards. The following Tues. I checked the status of the order and it said shipped. I called the customer service # and waited for almost an hour before they disconnected the line. When I finally got through the lady I spoke to was very rude. She said that since the order was not cancelled before it was shipped that I would have to pay for return shipping. "

"I have been ordering items from ABC since last year. I have not had to much of a problem other than things being back ordered. The one thing I hate is the shipping cost and as I have read many of the other comments this seems to be a problem for most of your customers. I did have one set back last summer when I returned a few things and yet they continued to bill me for the items but, that matter was cleared up. I am not sure if I will continue to order from ABC after I receive this next shippment due to the fact that they do ship everything seperate and I am tired of paying so much extra for something that I could go to the store and purchase."

"I am here again because I was asked by resellers to give more information on ABC. Ok here's the scoop with them. I called ABC last week b/c my orders were being shipped out one and two things at a time I was curious. I very nicely called (waited 25 minutes for a customer service rep) and asked why??? Her response was this. All the items in the fall catalog are in a different warehouse, same for the holiday, summer etc.. etc.. I ordered the bulk of my items from the fall catalog I said. Her repsonse is that they put last years items in the current catalogs and when your order a last years item out of one of this years catalogs it comes from a different warehouse (they have 6 throughout the US) so therefore it has to be shipped seperately. Now I have been paying for all my bills through e-pay (never had a problem) and every time I pay a bill they send out more merchandise until they reach my account limit ($100). She said to wait until they ship out a 100 dollars worth of product then pay at one time. If my payment is done before 3 pm their time it shows as paid and they begin to ship out more items for me (whether or not the monies been taken out of my account). I have had no problems with them at all and I have ordered about 1,000 dollars worth of merchandise from them. Their shipping is slow but again YOUR ARE RESPONISIBLE FOR TIMING YOUR SHIPMENTS SO YOU DON'T RUN OUT OF PRODUCTS!!!! Also for the home customer you need to ask the customer service department how long it will take before you get your item so you know how to order. The hold time is long but their customer service people are very friendly and knowledable you just have to talk to them professionally and not scream at them and you will be surprised how much information you can glean JUST BY BEING NICE!!!!
