"My experience with AFTactical couldn't be worse....placed an order on April 3rd 2012 for a birthday gift to be send directly to my friend.......after several calls as of April 17th no delivery...spoke to service manager Isreal refused to give me any access to his superiors....customer service is is a joke.......This company appears to be a small inefficient company with NO direction from the top....I requested the facility manager to call me I doubt that he or she has the courage to address my issues "

"Placed my order for an "IN-STOCK" item on March 5, 2012. Order remained "IN-PROCESS" until the last week of March when I finally reached out to their customer support. Customer support said the item would go out for shipping that week. The next week, no change in status. Once again I reached out to customer service to cancel my order. Support promptly returned my message asking if I would reconsider and offering me a 25% discount if they could ship it out the following day. The next day, status changed to "PROCESSED: DROP SHIPPED" but I never received a tracking number which was promised when I order the item.

Update: After looking at all the reviews, I noticed a very discernible trend with AFTactical and the processing/shipping of merchandise. Interestingly, many of these issues occurred during the last few months. Somebody has been sleeping on the job at AFTactical. I'm very disappointed with a company who caters to the military/law enforcement communities and provides service like this. Research conducted on the AFTactical revealed a great score on the BBB site, however, their most recent complaint was filed on 3/21/2012.

Update to the update: I just recieved a shipping confirmation and tracking number from AFTactical. Hopefully, the order arrives and meets my expectations. While I'm happy that AFTactical followed through on their promise, I'm hesitant to order from them in the future for fear of this very same thing happening again. From the looks of their reviews from the past few months and Resellerratings' analysis of consumer reviews, AFTactical has damaged their reputation and is goign to have to work hard to repair any damage done.

"March 3rd: Placed order
March 12th: Sent an email to support to get an update on where things were.
March 19th: Filed a complaint with PayPal since I hadn't heard anything from them.
March 20th: Order shipped.
March 26th: Order arrived, but MISSING two items. Sent support another email.
March 28th: Filed another complaint with PayPal.

Bottom line? POOR communication. I can deal with backorders, but the customer service at AFTactical is horrible.

UPDATE April 13th:

I still have not received the remaining portion of my order. I received an email from support saying they were sorry, but I paid for items over a month ago that I have not received.

Update April 16th:

One of two remaining items arrived.

Update April 18th:

Last item arrived.

Final Assessment:

The goods all finally arrived. My suggestion to AFTactical would be to improve their inventory tracking on their website, and get the response time from customer support/sales lowered.

"Over all very unhappy. Today is the third week since I ordered. I had to email the shipping department and complain I haven't received my order yet, that was on Friday, I got a response saying it would ship Tuesday. When I ordered nothing said it was on back order, I don't understand why it has taken this long. I don't ever see me using your company again."

"AFTactical has excellent products and the prices are really competitive. However, a major problem faced by overseas buyers, like myself, is that AFTactical require you to send via email photocopies of your credit card and a photo-ID (e.g. drivers licence) before they will send the item you have purchased. The problem I had was that my bank did not permit me to send a photocopy of my credit card via email as this is not secure.
Fortunately in my case they made an exception but I was told this was a once only deal, despite my credit being debited without a problem. Disappointing because they have fantastic gear and despite this problem great service. Would be helpful if they informed overseas buyers (outside of the USA) of this condition before purchase and debiting accounts.
