"Received my AVR, unboxed and hooked up the power, speakers, DirectTV, Blu-ray with output to my Sony XBR-55X900E TV. I was replacing a Denon XVR 2100W which worked well but was not HDCP 2.2 compatible and underpowered driving my Definitive 9020’s.
Following the powerup and reading the setup, I plugged in the YPAO Mic and followed the directions to set up the system. I will say this is much less intuitive that the Audessy setup from the Denon which involves several repeat steps, the Yamaha is much easlier. Following that I selected the input and streamed TV, then Music from my Direct TV feed.
I was “BLOWN AWAY” by the clarity, power, separation and detail of the RXA 2080. I played with several of the DSP settings to shape the streaming Direct TV Pandora feed and then enabling the PURE DIRECT and driving the 9020’s to their full potential, it was extremely impressive…
I did encounter an issue when engaging PURE DIRECT that was not clearly pointed out in the guide anywhere. When you engage PURE DIRECT it disables the Menu functionally stating “NOT AVAILABLE” prompting me to panic and do a master reset several times when flipping back forth to PURE DIRECT. It makes sense that external functionality would be disabled but gave me bit of panic rushing off to Yamaha tech support, (no reply btw) and finally figuring this out on my own.
Once I got past that, I was able to finish setup through the menu functions and load Music-cast which allowed me to access Pandora from the RXV 2080…WOW….2000% better than the streaming out of the DirectTV feed. Truly impressive….
I could go on and on about how wonderful this box was, my research had me looking at Pioneer, Marantz, Denon, NAD & ARCAM. I was able to demo everything but the NAD and none came close on the rich sound except the ARCAM, but the cost had it dropped as a contender. The sound on all the boxes except the Arcam was nothing like the Yamaha, with the Arcam very close maybe exhibiting a bit more depth.
The AI feature on the Yamaha RXA 2080 is wonderful. The difference between using it or not is noticeable and the AI brings a welcome improvement to this amazing machine, one that makes this purchase a solid choice.
Highly recommend……. Accessories 4 Less, they ship immediately, I had my AVR with 4 days, they are a warranted Shop-IMPORTANT, and they stand by thier products.

"Ordered a Denon receiver on Friday and had it on my doorstep by Monday. Thought I had an issue with the unit, emailed their customer support and had it fixed with hours."
"I purchased a Denon Dm41 mini system from AC4L. I had read most of the reciews, good bad and ugly. This is my experience.
I read the return policy. It's pretty explicit but it's pretty clearly targeted to those whom purchase online, get cold feet or don't like the product and ship it back on the vendors dime. For a company with endless resources like Amazon it's not a problem. This place isn't Amazon. You can speak to the owner. Try getting ahold of Jeff Bezos and see how far you get.
The Denon I purchased was B stock, meaning it's refurbished. It was also half the cost of a non refurb. When it arrived I was a bit dissapointed. It was missing the power cord and one of the loudspeakers had an issue. Again, B stock but this was on Denons end. They packaged it and the box was factory sealed. The reciever was flawless. Could not tell it wasn't brand new.
So after reading the negative reviews on returns, or they ripped me off, or they charged me shipping both ways...I kind of expected the worst.
But it didn't go that way. I contacted them and not only did they respond in 30 minutes, but on a HOLIDAY weekend!
I explained the situation. A power cord showed up the next day. Literally. Genuine Denon replacement.
They then sent me a prepaid shipper and I sent the speaker back. It was checked out and within a few days I had a new replacement in my doorstep.
I was not charged a dime for shipping.
As a side note I contacted Denon directly just in case things went South. They were absolutely useless. Not only did it take them 4 days to respond but they really weren't interested in helping me, which is surprising. I've been purchasing Denon for almost 30 years.
In the end I had an issue. It was B stock after all so I suppose I was taking a chance. It was a week's hassle but I saved a bunch of money and now have a system that works flawlessly. Things happen, it's the action afterwards that counts and AC4l took care of it.
Do your research before buying. Know the policies. If something is defective they will make it right. If you have buyer's remorse...you'll be paying to ship it back. As long as you are reasonable I think they will bend over backwards to help you."
"I originally ordered a receiver that didn't completely fit my needs. I reached out and they helped point me in the right direction and made the return process very painless."
"I've made numerous purchases going back 7 or 8 years and have always had a satisfactory experience. SUPER fast shipping and the support I get is absolutely the best. That's not an overstatement. This time it was help explaining something that wasn't in the owner's manual and even producing a short video that nailed it! Previous support experience involved providing staff with the speakers I was using and getting a suggestion for a different receiver, which worked out very well. My thanks to Mark."
"Bought a refurbished TX-RZ810 receiver, when I got it hooked up, I noticed that my sub woofer wasn't working. Contacted customer support who gave me the information on how to do a factory reset on the receiver. That was all it took, sub woofer channel became active and I'm a happy camper.

"I purchased what I found to be a defective receiver from Accessories4less. Not only did I have to pay the shipping cost to the return the receiver, they deducted their cost of the original shipping ($20) , which had been stated as "free", from my refund. If that wasn't enough, they also deducted a restocking fee to top it all off.
I have no idea if they even tested the unit upon return to see in order to verify it was defective as they never communicated with me regarding the issue. They immediately took their fees and moved on. I am out of pocket $70 on this transaction after returning the item. I wound up purchasing the exact same item from Amazon in new condition for a few $ more and it works perfectly with no issues.
Bottom line...you are taking a huge chance on a refurb that may not work to your expectations if you buy from this joint. Please be sure to read their return policy prior to taking the chance. I definitely wish you better luck than I had if you decide to make a purchase. Thanks. "
"So far, this place is great. Not only are the prices half that of retail, or better, but I contacted them about an issue 8 months after purchase and they worked with me via email to help resolve it. Turns out it was a lot simpler than I suspected. Great support!"
"Their products (and prices!) are first rate and their customer service solved a problem (my stupid mistake) in a snap and with great good nature. Ah, digital bliss!"
"ordered a receiver and the week after they lowered the price, you think after one week they will adjust it for you ? WRONG - talked to customer rep - very rude - this guys are desperate ...
their online reviews are horrible ... i should have research them before
LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE - just buy someplace else"
"I purchased an AVR from them and configured it wrong. Mark emailed me back and fourth for four straight days day and night to trouble shoot and get it working. Highly recommend these guys, this is the second AVR purchased from them and I couldnt be happier with my purchase. "
"I purchased a receiver for a great price and couldn’t tell it has been refurbished. It came in all original packaging with included accessories. Initially I had an issue with the sound and contacted customer service. I was surprised to get an email back in about 10 minutes (and through Friday night and Saturday morning!) and after some back and forth they helped me realize I had to adjust the ohms because of my speakers. It works great now.
I highly recommend them!"
"To the all those who helped with my sale,
I want to send my sincere thanks to you for the help with my a/v receiver purchase (an Onkyo TX-RZ820). I originally bought an RX-NR-777 and it showed up with a dead channel, so I was quite nervous about getting the new “upgraded” receiver.
At first, I was not sure about the massive RZ820, but it was full of features and the setup was easy. It took me some time to fine tune everything, as is probably always going to be the case with a new home theater component. And at first, I was unsure about my purchase. But pretty quickly, I got things dialed in.
Now, Holy Dolby! I’m blown away.
I have Atlantic Technology bi/dipole speakers for surrounds and height. I spent hours researching whether to use the bi or di setting for each speaker position, then messing with my old Pioneer receiver to meh results. But with the RZ820 up and running, I swear it brought them to life, and after a couple weeks, it got better. I know this is off the wall, but is it possible the Atlantic Technology surround/height speakers were breaking in, even after being used in my old system? It sure seems like the surround and height speakers continue to get better.
As a test, I recently viewed The Last Jedi 4K movie, and the sound was amazing. I can’t remember the last time I thought the sound from my home system was wondrous and as good or better than the local theater. This was exactly what I was hoping for from a new receiver.
Music is also wonderful. I'm aware there are lots of crazy terms and ways people describe their home audio systems, but the “visualization” of my system is now unbelievable. With a good recording, you can tell where the bass player and lead guitarist are standing, or if they are moving around. It is just astounding. I don’t play music loud most of the time, but even at low levels the clarity and fullness of the sound still come through with the RZ-820.
As you can tell, I am extremely happy with my new home theater addition and thank you all so much for helping me through the process. I have always said you can tell how good a company is by how they handle their problems. And Accessories4Less handled my problem well when there was one and I still ended up a happy customer. Great job and keep up the good work…

"I have a problem with one of my order after 2 years of shopping with AC4L with more than $3000: see what happened when i asked them to help me.Read this please and then you judge:
"The problem is not the receiver, it’s the settings on the player. By default, it’s sending out multichannel audio via either digital output, which is why neither work. You need to go into the audio settings on the player, and change them to 2 channel (PCM).
When you run into a snafu, ask for help vs assuming it’s a defective product…best not to jump to conclusions.

no Hi no Dear nothing and now see this, the meaning of "snafu"
Wikipedia Urban dictionary:
SNAFU is an acronym that is widely used to stand for the sarcastic expression Situation Normal: All **** Up. It is a well-known example of military acronym slang, however the original military acronym stood for "Status Nominal: All **** Up." It is sometimes bowdlerized to "all fouled up" or similar.
You think if i couldn't solve my problem they would take care of it?
Absolutely not. They are cheap though not really cheap for refurbished electronic stuff. Its better to be safe than sorry.

"Horrible customer service, messaged then reguard the return of a defective item and they assume I was lying and stated if there is nothing wrong with it then I will pay for restock fees, didn't offer any help or solutions. Also from emails it seems that even though the item is defective they will not reimburse for shipping costs. Will be posting on other reveiws sites."
