"I purchased a Vivitar DF383 flash for my Sony A350 DSLR. I was happy with the product until it came time to deal with warranty issues with Vivitar. I got in touch with Accessory Circut to get a copy of my receipt to forward to Vivitar. I was lucky enough to get in touch with a gentleman named Elliot who kindly resent the order receipt to my email. He also said that if I had any more problems with vivitar to give him a call back and he would get things straightened out. Elliot told me that he would make it right, and make it right he did! He said he would have a new flash sent out to me, and that I wouldn't have to wait for a repair or anything. Overall, I am very pleased with this experience. Because of this customer service I would without a doubt buy from Accessory Circut again without a doubt. The quality of customer service is something you don't see these days and it was greatly appreciated. "

"I ordered a battery and charger. The one I ordered wasn't in stock, so I received a phone call right away suggesting a better charger and better offer. I received my merchandise the next day. Later I needed an invoice sent to me and communicated through email. The company was efficient and prompt. I would use this company first for my electronic needs...Excellent!"

"Ordered Canon BP-819 battery and charger. I should have realized price was too good to be true. Got a call that they are back-ordered and will not be available for 3-4 months. COME ON...3 to 4 months??? Tried to push an off brand name battery, soft sell. I declined and order cancelled. Web site still has what I originally ordered as "in stock." Really a classic bait and switch. It's a shame there are too many on line resellers that do business like this... "

"I ordered a battery charger for a Nikon camera, was contacted by customer service to let me know the one I wanted was to available, so I agreed for a substitute. Got the order but the charger did not work. I contacted customer service requesting to send back the bad charger and received a prompt email back from Rebecca who informed me that a new charger was on the way. I have to say that I received excellent customer service without any hassle or delays. I would shop this company again. Cindy"

"I ordered a nikon replacement battery for my coolpix S3(EN-el8). No local camera shops had the battery in stock. I received the battery in 3 days!!! Great service and a lower price. I have since ordered a backup battery. Very customer focused folks at AccessoryCircuit. Excellent service. "

"Classic bait & switch. Placed order online, got a call saying the item was backordered... was offered to to pay more for a no-name brand.

Got a reply from accessorycircut.com. "dear sir, we are sorry yo feel this way perhaps we can give you something equivilent for a super deal or the one that you order". Still trying to bait and switch me. Classic.

Their website still shows the item as 'in-stock'. Unfair comment, I think not. If I lived in a different state with stronger consumer protection laws, they'd be sued out of business for false advertisement.

Even worse, they're claiming because they 'ran out of stock', this transaction never occured. So they're trying to get resellerratings.com to retract my review.

"UPDATED (4/22/09): I did receive the tripod explained below as compensation for them over charging me. It is a Digital Concepts TR-60N and retails at Amazon for around $15. I changed my satisfaction rating since the reseller did admit they were wrong in this case and made up the cost difference.

UPDATED (4/20/09): Reseller contacted me and offered to refund the difference between the original battery cost and the amount I was originally charge. Since the credit card I used to to order was since cancelled, thus not allowing a refund, I was offered a store credit. I am currently waiting on a tripod I was promised as compensation. When/If I receive the compensation, I will update my satisfaction rating.

Original Post (2/26/09): Saw this site (via pricegrabber.com) had a BP-819 battery for the best price, so I order the battery along with a the charger cg-800. Got a call saying the charger was out of stock, which is was everywhere (BH Photo, Amazon etc). The sales rep tried to push me to buy a generic one, which I continually said no to. I asked him to ship the battery now and charger when it was available, that never happened. Five days later, I called to see what the issue was, and the rep again tried to sell me the generic charger and battery, I said no and wanted to modify my order so I would receive the battery and just cancel the charger. Then all of a sudden best price battery ended up being a "grey" market price. There was no indication of this on the website when I placed the order or from the rep when I first received the call. The battery went up in price to $89 versus the $75 listed on the site. I will never buy from this site again, I do not like shady resellers. The only reason I used them was because I saw them on pricegrabber.com when I first ordered, but now they are not listed on there. Guess I was one of the first suckers.
