"Had an issue, it seems like they're resolving it like gentlemen."
"Update pending... Accessory Circuit is working with us. "
"These guys are great. Sent my order out right away.
The US postal service screwed up on shipping. Accessory Circut took care of the problem. "
"I had planed a family trip to Colorado to visit some family and some site seeing. Sure enough 4 days before we left as i was packing my video and camera stuff i noticed that i couldnt locate my charger for my digital SLR. I looked online and found these guys. The price was right but i was nervous knowing I had no time for error. Sure enough i called them up, spoke to a very nice fellow and explained to him my situation. He said sir...not to worry, you are in good hands. He gave me his word and he did just that. These guys are great. Got the charger in record timing and we took tons of pictures thanks to them. I definitely recommend this site. They are knowledgeable, freindly, price is right and Quick!!! A+++++++"
"Place the order on 5/13/09 and was notified that items were out of stock and it would be 3-5 weeks. Inquired on status on 7/2/09 and was informed items would be arriving within a week. Inquired 7/26/09 on status, no reply. Sent message on 8/1/09 indicating if no reply was received, that I was cancelling the order. Customer Service Manager replied with "Surely". I cancelled the order. Obviously, I would not recommend this company."
"Bait & Switch - don't fall for it. Just say CANCEL. Then check with your credit card company & make sure they haven't charged your card yet.
Bait & Switch - CANCEL it's just that easy.
Just an update: after my bait & switch call I canceled my order. Called my credit card company. Wrote this review. 4 hours later I received a call from AC saying they had received a shipment of battery chargers and would I be interested in reordering. I was almost tempted. It was after all a miracle, maybe not of biblical proportions, but a miracle after all. But I refused temptation. But if you are interested in a Canon CB-2VL charger they are in stock."
"I ordered a battery and got the same bait and switch I see all over the reviews. Was told a better battery costing 30% more could be delivered on time. I agreed and after doing some checking called and e-mailed the company. I was guaranteed that what I will receive will be good and work properly, and give me better life. I will follow-up on this review once item is received, but just going through this will have me never ordering form them again and I encourage all others to run away from their site at all costs.
I have received the item ordered, and it does work but not to the level I was told. It is supposed to be a battery with longer life, and actually has a shorter life that the factory one with less capacity. Never again will I use this company, and will stick to ordering brand name items. I will be disposing of the item as I do not trust its workings, and do not want to ruin my camera for a battery. I did get a call from the company and did not return the call back as I did not have the time and really see no need to go through any more discussions about this item. MY OPINION TO ALL WOULD BE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM BASED ON MY FIRST AND LAST DEALINGS WITH THEM."
"Well of course is a fake business, they are here only to still your money. The step are this:
you order an item online and after 30 minutes or so they contact you back saying that the item that you ordered is not available because some problem with the manifacture, so at that point they try to sell you the same item but from a cheap brand with the same price, and then as soon you receive that will not even works and they dont issues refound on that .
Please stay away from this website"
"As stated previously by Dailey "After I posted a critical review of this company they did try to make things right. So at least they're trying despite some past negative reviews.
Therefore in fairness, I've removed the review."
I add that their delivery is super fast and so is their customer service.. I do give props to that.. suggest to make phone orders to make sure of the availability of the product and for them to update their website to avoid any misunderstanding. "
"Let me start off this review by saying that AccessoryCircut.com and I have resolved our situation and I currently have in my hands the product I orginially ordered. Getting to this point was a huge mess and a complete waste of time. I will never buy from this company again and if I were you, I would avoid them as well. If you do purchase from them, BUYER BEWARE!
On 5/25 my husband purchased a FL-36 flash. Within minutes of sending the order, he got a call from customer service saying that they were out of this item (even though it showed “in-stock” on the website) and instead they could send him another flash of “better” value. My husband, wanting to make sure I had something to open on my birthday, agreed and they sent the replacement flash. When we received the flash, I could immediately tell it was not of the same quality as the FL-36. To confirm my suspisions, I took the flash to a trusted local camera shop. The manager took one look at the box and said that we had been scammed and that we should immediately send it back. My husband talked to customer service telling them that he did not appreciate them sending an inferior flash and that we would like the FL-36 like we orginially ordered. Customer service agreed.
Within a week, AccessoryCircut.com sent us ANOTHER flash. It was NOT the FL-36 like we had agreed. We immediately put it back in the mail and called customer service again. We again explained that we wanted the FL-36 like we had orginially ordered. They again claimed that it was back-ordered even though it was showing “in-stock” on the website and that we would have to wait 60 days before receiving our flash. We tried to cancel the order to just end the headache but we were told that they could not do that. At this point, it was the principal of the matter and we were willing to wait the 60 days to get what we ordered and paid for.
A month passes and I send an email to customer service to check to see when the FL-36 might be in. I get a quick response back saying that we should have it within a week. A week passes and no flash. I email customer service and was told, again, that it should be another week. I'm mad. I'm afraid that even if we wait the 60 days we are not going to get what we ordered and they'll have my money and I won't have a flash. I decide to post my experience on a store-rating website telling future AccessoryCircut.com customers to BEWARE. Within minutes of posting my story, I get an email from customer service asking me to call them immediately. I called and instead of getting the person I normally talk to, I get the manager. The manager was extremely upset with me, telling me that I'm “murdering him” on the website. I told him that I would edit my review when I got the product we originally ordered. He continued to get upset, raising his voice, and telling me that he should “not give me a flash at all”. I'm shocked that this man is yelling at me especially when I'm the customer. He continues bullying me by saying “I will give you the flash within a weeks time if you take down the review”. Since he has my money, I figure this is my only way out and agree to take down the review if he sends me the FL-36. It's a shame that it had to come down to me complaining on the web before I was promised the product I ordered.

"i purchased a canon cb-2lv charger from these guys they where very frindly and the best price i could find got it in 2 days pretty quick service "
"MAXAN below is right. I should have seen the pattern as well whereby a number of buyers have written in to say that after ordering an "instock" item, the company later contacted them to say their item was not in stock, but then the company gladly offered them a "better" item as an alternative.
THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF BAIT and SWITCH!
Happened to me as well; ordered something at a good price (Baited), but they tried to switch me to a "better" item when they "realized" my item wasn't in stock. Funny but after my first refusal of the alternate item, the price kept going down.
I walked away - you should to; to another store."
"Update: July 8 - Got the replacement battery today. It does fit my camera, but not sure yet how well it works. I am happy that I got the battery in time for our trip, I just wish I didn't have to go through these issues and that I would have gotten what I originally ordered.
Update: July 7 - Got an email last night and this morning from Rebecca. I will say one thing about this company, they are quick to address customer issues. The replacement product is scheduled to be here tomorrow. Like I told them, if it works as well as they claim, I will have no problem keeping it.

I wish I had more time to search reviews before ordering. My fiance told me that he was going to get me a Canon hf10 camcorder for my birthday. I did some research online for the camera and an extra battery. I found that accessorycircut had the best price on the Canon bp819 battery. I placed the order online and then went to work. I got a call and an email an hour later stating that the battery was out of stock from the manufacturer for 3-4 weeks, but they could substitute a better battery at a discounted price (the classic bait and switch the reviews warned about) Well I was at work and in a hurry because we needed it for the weekend, so I agreed to the switch. I got an email saying that the battery had shipped and it should be here in 2 days. Hopefully the replacement works as well as they claim, if not, I will be returning it!
If all these products are out of stock like the reviews claimed, they should update the website and stop scaming people. I will update review when product is delivered.
I ordered from this site because I wanted a battery from the manufacturer and not an off-brand product. I just hope i didn't get scammed."
"Purchased some Canon batteries & charger - for 5D Mk II - on sale on their site. Items were listed as in stock & available. Later I got a message asking that I call the store whereupon a salesman explained the product was out of stock "backordered everywhere" and tried to sell me a generic replacement (which wouldn't report usage to the camera & required it's own charger). Classic bait & switch! When I declined he became more insistant & offered to lower the price of the no-name replacements. I refused & eventually persuaded him to cancel my order - I double-check before I hung up that my credit card would not be charged. Got a reluctant "I guess not" in response! Bought the batteries easily elsewhere - though at the regular retail price. Avoid this place - there are no savings to be had, only a lot of wasted time on the phone with some pushy jerk! "
"Update: (Jul 15, 09)
Flash arived July 7th via UPS. Good shipping time. The right product. (which I have, admittedly, not yet tested) And it was a good price. (10% less than other e-tailers) One just needs to be sure the price is worth the hoops you *may* need to jump through. I strongly believe that the attention I received was to to the review I wrote on this site.
Update: (Jun 30, 09 - 2pm)
Received an email saying the item shipped. Two hours later received a phone call from Elliot asking if I wanted to cancel my order. Stated that he needed to speak to me before the item ships. I emailed Rebecca the Customer Service Manager to confirm it was shipped. She said it was, asked me to consider changing my review, and stated that she needed to post a public reply to my review. I have updated my rating, based on my experience thus far. I will continue to update my comments and rating as this interesting experience unfolds...
Update: (Jun 30, 09 - 11am)
Received email from "Customer Service Manager." Apparently the backordered item arrived today and was just shipped via UPS. She was aware of this review. Interesting.
Original Review: (Jun 29, 2009)
Same B.S. here. I received a "courtesy call" this AM, because "their Nikon rep called and the flash is backordered." (of course their we site still says "In-stock" right now) I said I wasn't in a rush, and it was no problem. He tried the same softsell on some off-brand aftermarket flash. Said I wasn't interested. He assured me it was a better flash for less money. Still not interested. Then he abruptly said, "Ok, bye." When I piped up asking how long it was backordered, he said, "three or four weeks" and hung up."
