"We ordered a Kawasaki engine on Sept 9th with the expected delivery date of Sept 12th-Sept 14th. The Engine was delayed at a local Fed Ex Facility for 15 days. Multiple calls were made and a investigation was done with the end result of the package being lost. A Replacement engine was sent out Sept 30th with a delivery date of October 4th. The Engine once again is lost at the same Fed Ex Facility. We called Acme on October 9th, after being placed on hold for a bit Acme states they have issued a refund since the issue has happened twice at that Fed Ex Facility. So wait 35 days for nothing. "

They always have an excuse to not price match an item no matter how much proof you provide and they seem to only price match original prices which will always be the same among different sellers only discounts change. Don't buy from them unless it really is the price you want to pay."
"Ordered Ego 16 in chain saw batter n charger . Best price n free shipping . Order 1st of Feb said Wouk’s ship between 2/20& 2/27. Ashes fir update mid month said same schedule . Called 2/28 asked where is it. Replied sorry for misunderstanding will come end of March. Lowe’s now has on sale for 30 more than Acme. Guess where I’m headed? "
"A cautionary tale.
In late December I ordered a Milwaukee Packout item from ACME Tool and like most I took advantage of the “free shipping”. If your not already aware that free shipping DOES NOT require a signature for delivery. So depending on your area and the level of “porch piracy” and or how dimwitted your delivery driver is (in my case FedEx) you are NOT covered if the package goes missing.
This stated I contacted ACME Tool and was simply told to contact my local Police Department. I had already called them as was told that it would be very unlikely to recover my item. I also called FedEx and filed a complaint about how the delivery was handled. Driver left package on my front porch right in front of the door. In the wide open for any and all that pass by to see. FedEx gave me a reference number and told me to contact ACME Tool and instruct them to file a claim, the item would be covered.
So I called ACME Tool about a week ago and gave them the required information. Fast forward to today, I called them to check up on the matter and was told they did not and will not contact FedEx. That I need to take up the matter with the local police. So please be aware that if you have trouble with your delivery you’ll get little to no assistance from ACME Tool."
"Be very certain when ordering anything from them, that you intend to keep it! I ordered a table saw from them on 12/18/23, called them on 12/20/23 because I needed to cancel the order. Was assured that would happen, and they would verify it with me. Heard nothing, so started emailing them several times on the 23rd, again, no response. Got an email from them yesterday, the 28th, that the order couldn't be canceled, as it had already shipped. Of course, I could refuse the shipment, but then would be refunded my purchase price, less shipping, BOTH ways! So....I'm forced to accept the shipment, which I no longer want or need. I think they could have handled my situation much better, but it seemed no one really cared to do so. Lesson learned; cheapest price and free shipping shouldn't be the only deciding factors when making a major tool purchase. I won't buy anything else from them due to my experience. "
"Still waiting almost a month for my saw, zero communication on what’s going on not even a text saying hey sorry this is on backorder. They just leave you hang and don’t say anything to you. Sure are quick about taking your money. I will never order anything from this company again."
"Terrible customer service. Order a saw kit and my card didn’t go through. Customer service advised that I had to be the one to call in and reorder the item because according to them “for security purposes my card is not on file”. I had changed my mind about buying it so I decided not to buy it. They then charged my card without consulting with me. if my card is not on file why did i get chsrged? I tried to cancel the order as the status said that the shipping facility was waiting on the item. But they told me it was already shipped. When I got the saw kit it was missing items that their website said it came with. I scheduled a return and had to pay for shipping which they now do not want to reimburse me for because its not in their so called policy. it wasn't my fault the order was placed without my-being consulted with even tho they said my card was not on file. I guess that was a lie!"

"My experience was similar to some other reports here. I ordered a few tools and got a confirmation email, then nothing else happened. Customer service claimed they’re too busy because of Black Friday. Another week passed and still no update so I’m assuming this sale isn’t going to happen. In the meantime my hands are tied because I really needed the tools I ordered but I’m unsure if I should order them elsewhere or not. "

"I ordered an Ego power head bundle that included edger & string trimmer attachments. Both attachments showed in my cart, but only the edger was listed in the invoice, which I received after I had already completed the order (& which I didn't notice until it was too late). It took months for them to send me the power head & edger. I asked about the string trimmer & they denied ever having such a bundle. I sent them proof of the bundle, but they still wouldn't send me the string trimmer. "

"Tried to order a Flex angle grinder kit for at a sale price, and got all 4 orders rejected! They do not honor their sale prices! The reasons they gave were their internal security flagged it, and also order information could not be processed, whatever the hell that means. They will also not honor coupon codes, as both of mine got invalidated after the orders were canceled and I tried to use them again. "
"Before my first order, I was a little worried because the reviews on here are not exactly stellar but that order, as well as my most recent order, went perfectly. Both times my order was shipped quickly via FedEx and was well packaged and arrived on schedule. The website is easy to navigate, they have a large selection of tools at fair prices and I received an almost instant email notification of my order. I realize everybody's experience may not be the same as mine but so far I view ACME Tools as a good online seller. If I have an issue on a future order I will come back and update this review."
