I purchased external enclosure for a laptop hard drive. At first it didnt work and I contacted acortech.com and they helped in every possible way they can (very willing to take back the product) however, the drive was not formatted and that was causing the problem. I sent a CDRW I bought from them that was supposed to carry a 1 year manufacturer warrenty. The warrenty had expired before I even bought the drive. The drive died 2 months ago and I sent it back to acortech and they tried to say it wasn't their cdrw drive. I had bought the drive from them and an entire computer for that matter. I spent almost $1000 with them and they cant replace a $30 cdrw they sold me that broke in 2 months.

I used to love this company. They had the best customer service around. Now when you e-mail them you are lucky to get a response. If you call they no longer have an 800 number and have a new phone system.

The 2 or 3 guys I talked with were hard to understand and had a heavy accent, maybe Indian I'm not sure. Anyhow I believe the company is under new management or at least has all new employees. :(
