"Overall, my experience was neutral or slightly below. I got 2 of the 4 DVD's correct. Obviously, I contacted customer service, but there was no answer at the phone number and no reply to emails. I returned the two incorrect ones and got a refund. However, I did have to start a dispute with my credit card issuing bank to ensure the refund. All in all, their selection is good, but they should not just send me junk movies that I didn't order."
"I've been very happy with the products and service I got from Adam & Eve. They gave me a free shipping upgrade on my first order, which was nice. They have a number of exclusive products and a wide variety of items. I'm not sure if any other adult retailer produces videos, for example. And I know they're a pioneer in the adult mail- and telephone order business. I did have to unsubscribe from their e-mail list - they sent way too many specials, coupons and promotions for my taste (one every day). But I would definitely buy from them again."
"Canadian customers beware!
When you visit AdamEve.CA, their prices are listed in Canadian dollars. When you order, you receive an invoice in Canadian dollars. Convenient, right? Not so fast...
They bill you in American dollars, but they bill you the exact amount of your invoice. They don't adjust for the exchange rate, resulting in a surcharge of about 22% right now.
Repeated emails and a phone conversation to customer service did not resolve their mistake. They promised me a credit, and then changed their minds. I couldn't make them understand that it is illegal to bill more than the amount agreed upon at the time of sale.
I am left with no recourse but to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
