"This company is a complete Joke and customer service are hired ass clowns. Ordered from them on the 6th. Never heard a word. Contacted them on the 10th and they said it was shipped. On the 14th contacted them again. Website says it shipped on the 14th. Tracking # at USPS says "The Postal Service could not locate the tracking information for your request. Please verify your tracking number and try again later". Contacted customer service on the 27th tells me it will arrive by Oct 2nd. And sometimes USPS doesn't update their tracking for two weeks. Lies and more lies. If you deal with these sleazeballs have the sense to buy through PayPal. They are refunding me my money. A&E never even responded to my PayPal complaint."

Unfortunately, we are unable to send any adult catalogs, books, magazines, or videos to your state at this time. As the laws in your state are not clear on the sale of our adult material, our attorneys have advised us against it. The area you wish to ship to is a conservative area.
Because the kit includes a DVD we were unable to send the kit. However, we sent an alternate kit.

The alternative package was a baggie of a few condoms which me and my husband won't use considering we are trying to get pregnant. Secondly even if this was the case why would they not have sent the package minus the DVD with this explanation and last but not least what if I had paid for a DVD would the story be the same? I also have an adult toy store relatively close but wanted the privacy of this but never again.
UPDATE: apparently phone customer service is better than email my husband called and they have agreed to ship everything in the kit except the DVD by reading other reviews I'm going to see how this plays out before uping their star rating but, I do think the phone representative was much more helpful now to sit and wait.
UPDATE: did receive the kit gifts and am very happy with the telephone customer service reps I received will continue to use them "

"I read the ResellerRatings review of AdamEve.com AFTER placing my order. I know, not smart. Needless to say I was pretty worried. I did know they had been around for quite a while, but this was my first order from them.
My order was placed on April 10 and was at my door within a week. I did pay $2-3 more for one bump up in shipping speed. Maybe that made the difference, I'm not sure. I do hate it when sellers default to some ridiculously slow shipping method, but at least it was cheap to upgrade to something standard. I think my shipping option should be the slowest default. The items were exactly what was ordered and in perfect condition.

I never received my last order and when I called them to ask about it (the website only offers very limited tracking info), they told me my account had been closed. When I asked why, they told me that I had "abused" the coupon codes and therefore they had closed my account and refused to reopen it. They did not care to hear anything further and basically hang up on me and never made any effort to salvage the relationship.
