Lens Purchase

"Ordered a used Nikon 24-120 F4 VR Zoom Lens. It arrived on time and well packed. I looked it over and could not find a single blemish that would make me think it was a used lens. It came with both front and rear lens caps and the hood as well as the manual that may have been new since it looked as if it had never been opened. I tested the lens and its performance was superb as you would expect from a good Nikon lens. Had it come in a Nikon box I wouldn't have known it had ever been used. I ordered a Tiffin filter set for it as well and it all arrived together. I am completely satisfied with my transaction. I am a returning Adorama customer. I can, without hesitation, highly recommend this company. As yet I have never had to interact with their customer service department as I have yet to have a problem with anything I have purchased from them. I would expect them to be equally as professional as their sales department. A Satisfied Customer."

Great promotions

"I switched my business from B&H 2 years ago because Adorama is much more proactive with their promotions. I LOVE that they sometimes include a couple of free items for the same price that B&H will charge. I've never had a problem with one of their orders."

Its the little things

"I ordered a Sony a6000 camera kit deal. The sipping issues I had were not Adoramas fault it was UPS fault. I stayed home on due date of 2nd day air waiting for the shipment to arrive because it needed a signature and around 8 pm I received and email saying it was delayed 3 days? The next day I was at work and when I got home I found the package on my front porch ( so much for needing a aignature) Multiple items in the order have not arrived yet . One item is backordered (not Adoramas fault) but they shipped the tripod seperate and it still hasnt arrived and its been 5 days since I recived the camera kit. Also the battery for the LED light was missing. I emailed Adorama imediately about these issues so let see how long it takes for them to resolve them. "

Package Tampering

"I have been buying from Adorama for years, however, when I bought a new Nikon D750 from Adorama this November, I discovered someone removed the OEM battery (which Nikon includes with the camera) from the box.. When I contacted Adorama, an ill-informed CSR offered to sell me the battery they took out of the box!!! It would be an understatement to say I was upset!
.....................1 week later.......
The measure of a company is rooted in its customer service..I was contacted by Adorama after posting my compliant on RR..It turns out that the first CSR gave me the wrong information..a follow up conversation with a better-informed CSR resulted in being shipped the correct OEM battery.. Problem resolved.

Terrible experience beginning to end

"I ordered a MacBook Pro from them, choosing them instead of several other sellers because they said they had it in stock. It still said in stock when I placed the order. I also ordered a portable drive to go with the new computer (usb-c). I checked back later to find the drive "ready to ship" but the computer "processing". So I contacted them via chat. They informed me then, many hours after I placed the order, that, not only were there no MacBooks on hand to ship to me but also that they had no idea when more would come and could not inform me of my "place in line". I immediately cancelled the computer order and tried cancel the portable drive order only to be told it was too late, that UPS already had the drive and they could not cancel it. They did get UPS to turn the item around and return it back to them, but I've spent a week now trying to get them to credit me what they charged me. I would never have ordered the drive had they informed me they had no computer to send me. I cancelled the order the same day, the minute I found out. The drive has never been in my possession but they say they have to wait to receive the item back from UPS, then take 3-4 business days to process the return. They charged me the second I clicked the button but now I'm supposed to wait around for two weeks for them to fix their mistakes. I would not shop there again."

Lenovo computer.

"Adorama has been one of my go to internet retailers, primarily for photographic equipment. I have always found them helpful with my orders and reliable. The prices are good also. I would recommend them to anyone. Last order was a little slow getting out the door, but it was probably due to Black Friday rush. I chatted with customer service and they tracked down the order and told be exactly were it was. It is now on the way."

Biggest Disappointment

"I ordered a camera bundle from Adorama on November 22nd and i paid $56 for “next day shipment”. They did a mistake and sent the item with UPS Ground. I paid $56 for nothing. They said we rufund you. Okay. UPS said item eill be delivered on December 4th. Now, UPS lost the package. I don’t where my package is. No one knows. I always like Adorama. I did many purchases from them but I’m done with Adorama. No more. "
