"Wish I'd had the foresight to Google the name of this website plus the word "reviews" BEFORE I placed my order. I ordered some jewelery in early April and didn't receive it until mid-June. During that time, I exchanged probably 20 emails with the company in my quest to find out what was going on. For the first month, they either didn't answer or simply re-sent the same tracking information I already had. The tracking number they kept sending me was associated with a completed delivery to a country I don't even live in. Finally, after about 6 weeks, they deign to tell me that this tracking number corresponded to their shipment of the item to another of their warehouses, that they had no way of tracking the item beyond the warehouse, and that I should just "hang in there". Honestly, I wouldn't be able to sleep for the tension if I ran a business that was so disorganized and offhand about everything. When I finally received my item, the parcel was postmarked June 2 (I'd placed my order April 10). I emailed the company to tell them how appalling this was, and their response was that my experience was an "anomaly" and that the reason my item didn't leave the warehouse until June 2 was that the warehouse guy (its one and only employee??) was on vacation for two months overseas! Unbelievable. If you still want to shop with Ahuva after reading my review, you'd better have the patience of Job and the lifespan of Methuselah... because you're going to need both.
EDITED FEB 8 2012 TO ADD: More than six months after I posted this review, I received a request from Yehoshua, the owner of Ahuva, for me to remove my negative review here and on two other review sites. (Four requests, in fact, despite the fact that my reply to his first email included the sentence "Kindly do not contact me again.") One of Yehoshua's complaints was that customers only seem to post negative reviews; if they've had a positive experience with a company, they don't speak up. One needs only to look at the millions of products on Amazon with 4- and 5-star ratings in order to refute his claim. Ahuva is receiving negative reviews because they're earning them, not because of a conspiracy of silence among the satisfied. My review stands."
"Ordered a $800 product Feb 7. It is now April 14 and I still do not have it. Multiple e-mails asking for the status took exceedingly long to answer. I then received an e-mail "and I am assuming our warehouse in NY simply provided a mistake and am assuming your package has arrived." which was completely incorrect and an excuse for them having incorrectly shipped the product and not bothering to follow up.
Beware that Ahuva has no sense of urgency or customer service."
