"THE single worst purchase experience I've had online, and I do a lot of online shopping. I paid for express shipping (listed as 2-4 days) and a month later the item still has NOT BEEN SHIPPED. If you're thinking of purchasing an item from Ahuva.....THINK AGAIN. Their customer service is non-existent as is their response to my customer complaint. I only wish I could give NEGATIVE STARS."
"Company delivered as promised and I am satisfied."
"I took a chance with Ahuva. It was a terrible experience.
I ordered a Tallis and Kepot for my son's Bar Mitzvah. The Kepot were ordered the first week in March and didn't arrive until the first week in May, a week before the event despite promises that they'd arrive in 4-5 weeks.
The most disturbing part of our experience was dealing with the owner (in Canada, working out of his home). He was incredibly condescending, rude and hostile. When I pointed out that the kippot hadn't arrived on time, he dismissed my concerns by saying that we still had plenty of time before our event for them to arrive.
When he made a mistake in a communication to us and I questioned it, he became argumentative and tried to make the issue about me being too particular. Well, yes, it's my son's Bar Mitzvah and I lost confidence in his ability to deliver because he gave us so much contradictory information. Then he reacted immaturely when I pointed out the inconsistencies.
It's not worth dealing with the owner of this company, especially if you're concerned about items arriving on time for an important event. Bottom line, there are plenty of other good stores that sell the same stuff at the same prices. I wish I had read some of these reviews before ordering."
"I ordered a tallit and tallit clips, I needed them within a few days, I was promised I would get the tallit in time and I did! It was beautiful, many compliments at my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. The clips as promised were delivered a few days later. Don't believe the few bad reviews, they did a great job."
"Poorest quality ,overpriced and falsely advertiseday products. Terrible customer service, don't answer phone number. Product descriptions are misleading. Don't buy from Ahuva.period. "
"Provided costumer service to satisfy us. "
"Horrible experience, avoid this retailer by all means!
Absolutely unhuman customer service provided by the owner Josh.
My advice is: in case if your order is delayed and you feel that something non-kosher is going on, put the charge on dispute immediately, do not talk to the shameless person Josh.

"Apart from the fact Ahuva was unable to fulfill the order, the amount of time it took them to reach this conclusion was ridiculous. Their customer service, particularly their emailed responses to civil questions was quite simply extraordinary. I am aghast at how bad a company this is. Phenomenal for all the wrong reasons. "
"I purchased a very unique piece of art on Ahuva that I couldnt find anywhere else. The service I got was exceptional. The item was carefully packed and in great condition. Very smooth transaction and a very positive experience. I have since returned to Ahuva for more items and their service is top quality every time.
Very highly reccomended."
"Very helpful when ordering my product. Received it on time for sons Bar Mitvah. Will Shop again on my next occasion."
"I had been searching for a Star of David for my daughter's birthday. I found this one first on another website, for a slightly lower price, but not available in time. Ahuva not only matched the price, but went thru hoops to ensure the gift arrived on my daughter's birthday. It was beautifully crafted, and wrapped in lovely packaging. I would use this company again in a heartbeat."
"I ordered a matching bracelet and necklace -silver, made in Israel, and it was beautiful! all my questions were answered and I received it in a timely fashion. very good service, i would definitely order from ahuva again. Nice assortment of Israeli made products too. Highly recommended."
"Cancelled order. No eta for long time."
"Choose another company for you kippot. When I originally wanted to order these kippot they were listed at $2/piece on the ahuva.com website. When I called to order, I was told this was a "mistake" and that the true price was $2.50. I ordered the kippot in January; I was told that there was plenty fo time for the order. I had given the order and printing over the phone. I received an email proof that omitted the last line of the text. I sent another email correcting ahuva.com's error and a new proof was emailed to me that displayed the 5 lines of text; I was told that this was how it was going to be printed and that Josh was unable to input the 4 lines of text but that the printer would print the 5 lines. I was told in writing that they would arrive 2/8. They did not arrive. I called on 2/12 and they had to be rushed to me because they still had not been printed. My heart was in my mouth to receive the order on time for the event. When they arrived, the fifth line of text had been omitted so that the location did not appear. Josh at customer service lectured me that this was "no big deal" and this would teach the bar mitzvah boy to rise above "it". Josh is wrong; it is a big deal; we work hard for our money; we want what we order and confirmed. We could have and should have ordered from another company that cares about doing things the right way. Ahuva.com has extremely poor customer service, poor communication, and a poor attitude."
"Ordered a sukkah in June from the site because it had the best price. Checked back in September and they wrote me that it had shipped. Checked back in two weeks - said they hadn't shipped and needed to add a $150 additional shipping bill."
