" I don't know what other reviewers are talking about. i have made a total of 5 orders with AirsoftGI, and my experience has been nothing but positive. While i can see the concern over the use of brown paper in shipping, the guns are already in boxes, so there should be minimal abuse. Also, my shipping has always been fast. during Christmas season, it took a week. During the summer it took 3 days(albeit, I live in Washington). Even if something is broken, there isn't normally warranty for airsoft guns, yet GI offers a 15 day one.
I have never personally used customer service for a damaged shipment, but have asked (on phone and email) about products, orders, and even general questions about airsoft. The responses were fast, and the people were knowledgeable.
Ive noticed a lot of people complain about the prices, and it seems there is a a totally wrong mindset. Airsofting is not a cheap hobby. Sure you could run out and buy a springer from the nearest big 5, but that is different from high quality guns. Just because it is an AEG doesn't mean its good either. The prices at AirsoftGI are low too! A gun on "airsoftmegastore" costs the SAME. Not too mention AMS is trying to tell you a 125 dollar guns original price is 270 bucks! Other stores have the same gun for around 140, so I'd definitely say ASGI isn't over-priced.
If your still unconvinced, at least check out their videos, as they have fantastic reviews and information(minus the annoying metal music...) While other stores can fake customer service to try to save face, (*cough* airsplat *cough*), Airsoft GI has the real deal; and for the love of God, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALWAYS WORSE DURING HOLIDAYS.
Hope this will help stop the skepticism about ASGI. Customer to customer, if you still won't believe me, go to evike. About the same, but a little higher prices (although they have a some items GI doesn't), and IMO a more cluttered website"

"While AirsoftGi does carry a large selection of items, their inflated prices and lacking customer service leaves much to be desired. I will say that I do like their wide selection of parts, which includes some that are quite hard to find, and they have good prices on some of their BB's, but their parts selection is really the only reason I ever buy from them.
Another thing is that they have a TON of items that are out of stock. It seems like half the things I search for are out of stock. I understand that this may be due to a large volume of customers, but in that case GI should be upping their stock quantities anyways.
As for customer service, they are okay I guess IF you can even get a hold of them. I emailed them with a question about a product about a month ago, and to date I have gotten no response. Come on GI; rude, not to mention you're potentially losing a sale.
Unfortunately AirsoftGi sets it's prices like the majority of average airsoft retailers -- but I am not looking for average; I am looking for exceptional. While we are on the topic of prices, we might as well talk about sales. GI does offer a 15% off on everything, with occasional other sales on certain items, but they were rather stingy on their recent Black Friday "Doorbuster Sale" -- Normal 15% off and some slightly better sales for certain other products. That's it.
Airsoft Megastore (my store of choice, btw) was selling several nice AEG's for OVER HALF OFF and 5000 round bottles of Umarex BB's for a PENNY each! Megastore also frequently has sales on their already lowed-priced items (most things are normally $5-$10+ less than what GI charges).
So, basically, if you need a hard-to-find part, or, amazingly, can actually find a good price on an item, get it at GI. Otherwise save yourself some $$$ and shop elsewhere.

Ok, my customer service experiences: I issued and fulfilled one RMA. That was for a broken magazine that came with a G&G gun I bought. They responded quickly, and a few weeks worth of shipping later, I had a brand new mag in my hands. Their customer support is AWESOME! Yes you do have to pay return shipping as many people have complained about, just suck it up cheapskates! It's not that bad! They are loosing WAY more than you are if you return an item, so take it easy.
I've seen people complain about their long shipping, but think about it like this. They have to first, receive the order form the website. Then go pull the item from the warehouse. THEN they take it out of the box, have a tech inspect it, chrono it, and write up the slip with the tech's signature approving the gun. Then they package it up and send it to UPS.
I have had nothing but good experiences with them, and I can assure you 100%, that you will be happy with your order from Airsoft GI."
"I bought a MK36K from this site and the overall product was fine, my problem however is the extra magazine I ordered along with it was not received and instead i got an m4 mag, When i sent it back to be replaced they did not contact me about a replacement nor a refund. It has been over a month and each time I ask them they say that my inquiry will be forwarded to the correct department and that I will be contacted within 3 days. I waited over a week and no response. Then I waited 5 days after the same message, no response again. I have asked them to just cancel the item and refund my money though I suspect they were out of stock in the first place, I will see how this goes instead. Overall their packaging and customer service are unreliable."
"I don't know what the people with the bad reviews are talking about. I have had nothing but GREAT experiences with Airsoft GI. Hence the reason why I continue to shop there and have gotten all my friends to become repeat customers there as well (since a couple of them have been burned at places like Evike)

I had the opportunity to play in my first event with my M14 yesterday after getting it back after being repaired for the second time. It performed flawlessly and was truly feared on the battle field. I had numerous players ask me before, during, and after the event about my gun. Each time I told them that I only shop at AirsoftGI and that you will not find any other store as professional as you guys. I know I have created over a dozen repeat customers for your company since I started playing airsoft over a year and a half ago and I know there will be dozens more as I continue to play. There's a reason why all of my friends refuse to shop elsewhere, especially after hearing about what you did on your end to get my gun working correctly. They were truly amazed during the entire process of getting it fixed and they have pledged to shop solely at AirsoftGI.

The gun malfunctioning was due to some severe upgrades that were done to the gun. I had some problems arise with it and they stepped in to remedy the situation and to get the gun working as intended. (And boy did I work as intended on the battle field!)
I wouldn't shop anywhere else other than AirsoftGI. You won't find their kind of service anywhere else!"
"I have shopped at a few airsoft sites and Airsoft GI seems to be one of the more professional airsoft retailers out there. There site is easy to navigate and there are lots of great video reviews by Tim. I have bought from them a few times last year and they shipped out my order pretty quickly so I don’t know what all the complaint is about, probably cause those negative reviewers ordered during the holiday season which tend to take them longer to ship, but that’s expected. Anyways I would just like to say that they have pretty good customer service when I called and talked to Tyler about getting a CQB gun for an upcoming game. I told him about the requirements of my upcoming game and my budget and he was able to recommend a nice KWA M4 2GX for me. That kind of product knowledge is hard to come by with other airsoft retailers."
"The good things about this website are the selection, layout, and the very informative reviews and videos. These guys seem to have alot of passion for Airsoft as a sport and hobby.
However, there customer service for repairs and upgrades are terrible.
Don't expect a quick reply for inquiries, and don't expect to get any parts support for anything you buy. I was told explicitly that they do not do special parts orders for repairs by their sale department when I called.
That was after I spent two weeks trying to talk to the tech department about acquiring a replacement part. I don't understand what the point is in having a tech department for repairs when they won't get you repair parts.
I've made a second order, however it was only because with my first attempt to get tech help, they gave me a 10% off coupon.

"I ordered the M4 RAS-II full metal for $189 which is over priced. I got my gun 2 weeks later. I live in OR and the item came from CA so it should take like 2-3 days not a fking weeks. I tried to call them, but they didn't pick up the phone. I tried to reach them everyday 2-3 times a day for about 3 day. They finally picked up the phone. They said they won't ship the gun till they make sure that the shipping and billing address are the same, but they already took the money out of the credit card. Once the gun arrived. First thing I notice was the iron sight. It looks rusty, which shouldn't happen to a new gun, right?
The nest thing was the box looks like someone opened it. Which I just knew that they check the gun before ship out.
The sad thing was when I adjust the iron sight. I heard something came off, but I didn't know until everything started to spring out. It took me an hour to get everything fixed.

"Ordered a gun from this company for my son's birthday along with a vest. Everything came in quickly and as promised, but the gun had minor damage clearly sustained during shipping. Airsoftgi responded to my e-mail about the damage and sent the necessary replacement part at their cost - basically no questions asked.
Before ordering from Airsoftgi I was completely taken for a ride from another on-line retailer (airrattle.com - NEVER order from this site, you'll regret it).

"Not the best... our airsoft community is small, i know our options are limited...But... i would still search elsewhere. ive been waiting for a refund for 19 days. i ordered two things, one was back ordered so i cancelled and still havnt gotten my money back. when i called, the kid said he would tell the accounting department.. you mean to tell me my refund hasn't even been processed? its been 17 days!(time of call)

also when they shipped the the remainder of my order (after the cancelled backorder) they shipped it in the original box that my backorder was suppost to go in (it was well over a square foot and labeled for 2 lbs. the piece i ordered was 3 oz. and about the size of a roll of quarters.... THANKS for repackaging it and saving me 14 dollars.

"It's not the guns that suck from there. It's the company. After waiting a week after ordering I got an email saying You need verbal confirmation of order. I called them and they asked for my birthdate which I gave them. They said "You don't sound like *********, I will have to contact my manager" On which I hung up as I was in a rush at the time and already spent 30 minutes on hold. I then called back the next day and he asked for my address and phone number and I confirmed both and he said "Okay your order has been confirmed. Thank you for shopping with airsoft GI" and hung up. About a week later I get a shipment of my BBs and scope I ordered but no gun. I check my email and got an email saying Order partially pulled without gun. Now I have to re confirm for the 3RD time to finally get my gun."
