"Some of the vendors will change details after payment saying oh the shipping price is wrong you need to pay more or give you a date for shipment and never ship the product and when you attempt to get a response they just ignore your message.

When you report these things to Alibaba the process is long and tedious and they tend to want to side with the seller instead of paying attention to the buyer. I have a case where the vendor told me the price of the shipment was different than what they quoted me and what I paid for she said I can send it by sea which takes 30+ my husband agreed and I went back and told her I didn't want the product I found a vendor who packed and shipped my items via air in two days. She kept telling me the item was shipped then when I asked for a tracking number she said the item was in the warehouse waiting to be shipped. I told her I did not want the product and to obtain it from the warehouse. When I filed a dispute with Alibaba they told me they spoke to the vendor and I can get $5 for my trouble. Now I have wait for it to get a US tracking number so I can call and refuse the item."
