"Although I build all my own desktops, I always buy my laptops online. I decided to go with an Alienware system this time around because of 1) their reputation for quality, 2) they cater to gamers, and 3) they offered exactly the components I wanted at a reasonable price.

The online ordering system was very simple although I had trouble saving "My Cart" so that I could come back at a later date. I ordered a m15x laptop on Wed AM; it shipped Fri afternoon. It has worked flawlessly and, most importantly, wasn't covered up in bloatware. It had exactly what I ordered."

"Worth every penny! After always (~10yrs) wanting an alienware machine I finally pulled the trigger this year on an M17 laptop. Man, what a difference from my HP tablet and work Toshiba laptop!

I'd always built my own desktop but this year decided to take the easy way out. I also wanted a desktop-class gaming machine. My new M17 is all those and more! Even without going with an SSD drive and a second video card Left4Dead and CounterStrike: Source play at full 1920x1200 on the gorgeous screen and load very quickly.

If you're considering one, just do it. Really. You'll immediately see what I mean when you open the box and fire it up!"

"I am very happy with all aspects of buying from Alienware. I am not a gamer but have a need for speed. I usually build my own but just wanted one to use out of the box. The inside of this computer is so sweet. Liquid cooled, a little intimidating but not for long. I installed 2 sata drives that had all my files on them and no problems. I ordered it like I wanted it so don't have to worry about adding anything else. I also like the fact there are no proprietary parts. Love that the most. "

"I purchased the M15x notebook and am very pleased with it. I had some questions for the customer service department before my purchase and they were a big help. Once my order was placed, there estimated ship date pretty much spot on.

The notebook worked perfectly out of the box and have not had any problems with it. And now that I have had it for 2 months, it still meets my expectations and I enjoy using it (and the compliments I get from other people on how they like it!!)"
