have been reading the other reviews.....i've never had a problem....my baron beagle had conjestive heart failure and takes vetmedin, enalapril, and furosemide......the prices are almost half what my vet charges.....i usually order about a month ahead.....i order 100 days worth of meds.....they have to contact my vet.....i usually receive my package within a week of ordering...... i'm thrilled with them....."

I really wish I had checked this site before I ordered from this company! I placed an order for reconcile on March 19th with AllVetMed.com, even though I could have gotten it cheaper with free shipping from another well known company, because that company said the product was on backorder until March 23rd. I thought it was in stock at AllVetMed because there was no indication otherwise, so I ordered from them. I also paid more for priority mail shipping because I needed it right away.
My credit card was charged immediately, but I still had not heard anything on March 27th, so I sent an email asking them to process my order that day or cancel my order. I was not told until then that the product was on backorder, but it was expected to be received the next day. Since it was backordered again with the other company, I did not cancel the order, because I still needed it right away. I asked them to upgrade my order to express shipping or at least refund the cost of shipping. They did not honor the express shipping, but said "I just refunded back your account for the shipping you had paid". That was on March 27th, and the credit has still not appeared on my credit card.
I was told "your order will ship as soon as the item comes in". Of course, it did not ship on March 28th as expected, but I finally received an email on April 2nd with a USPS tracking number stating it had shipped that day. By April 5th, the order still had not arrived even though priority mail only takes 2-3 days, so I tried to contact them unsuccessfully. The next day it still did not arrive, so I contacted USPS and was told the package with that tracking number did not exist. I have called and sent emails and still today, April 10th, I have not heard from anyone about my order!!
This seems to be a pattern with this company, not informing customers about backorders and shipments that don't arrive. "

"Don't bother w/ this company. I ordered from AllVetMed to save a few dollars and its not worth it. I orderd Denamarin Tabs for my senior dog that has terminal cancer and she has been waiting now 10days with no communication from this company,no confirmation of shipping, & no tracking info. They did of course charge my credit card immediately (103.80). When I order from Amazon I always receive my order within a couple of days and I am always updated on the status of my order via email throughout the entire process. I will go back to amazon from now on.
update 4/1/2012 Update its been two days since I have requested my order be cancelled and refunded and I have not received a refund as of yet. Nor have they contacted me directly in regards to what they wrote in their response.

The order was placed on the 13th. That's 11 days ago. You billed my card on the 15th. 4 days before you allegedly shipped the order. Tracking through your site tells me nothing. It's now been 11 days since the order. Never again.

Order shipped late because Denamarin was on back-order, your tracking info can be seen in UPS.com since all our packages leave our company by UPS and then gets transferred to USPS for it to be delivered, if package is refused we will refund you when package is received back and processed in our warehouse.

"I placed my order on 9/30/11 and requested in-store pickup. When I went on Tuesday evening at 8PM the pharmacist had left, even though store hours are until 9PM. Nelson was there and kindly offered to ship the item free of charge the following day so that I would receive the Trifexis on Thursday. On Wednesday afternoon I received a call from a woman (I'm not sure who) that confirmed I had not picked up the item and told me it would ship that afternoon and I should still receive it on Thursday. Well, on Saturday it still had not arrived so I called the store twice (at 11:30AM and 1PM) and no one picked up so I emailed ****@**** (I had received some emails from that address earlier in the week regarding the order and how to drop off my prescription). I didn't receive a reply, so I called today and spoke to Yessy. After getting the order number (14256) and putting me on hold for a few minutes she asked who I'd spoken to last week then put me on hold again. When she came back she just said that the order would be shipped today and I'd get it tomorrow. She did NOT apologize for the delay or offer a reason as to why there has been a delay. Additionally, since I've heard the "it'll be shipped today and should be there tomorrow" before, I have little faith that it will actually get shipped. The order arrived 3 days later, which is a little long considering it should only take 2 max as Hialeah is only 40 minutes away... Also, the pills were not in a box so I could not tell if the product was expired or not and it seemed like I was getting half of a 12-month supply or something. Not reassuring. UPDATE: I opened a "ticket" complaining about the poor customer service with their staff and NEVER received a response. Not even an acknowledgement. I have half my prescription left, but refuse to return to this store - I'd rather pay another vet visit fee and get a replacement prescription than deal with these people again. PLUS - other online pet supply stores are now cheaper, especially considering this store charges EXORBITANT shipping fees ($15 to ship a thing of pills???). If I could rate them 0 stars I would.
RESPONSE TO 3/17/12 reply from AllVetMed: The review is indeed 6 months old, but I was upfront about that. When I placed the order the hours were until 9PM; in fact, I called to confirm that. When I arrived, Nelson did indeed promise to ship it for free to save me the trip (NOT because I needed prior approval... why would I need it if I was allowed to chose "pick up in store" during the ordering process?). And the delay was NOT due to veterinarian approval - I dropped the original prescription off in person (when I tried to pick up the prescription). The review was about the fact that after the confusion and Nelson promising to have it shipped the next day I still did not receive the package for over a week. And had to call multiple times in order to get it sorted out, and during those calls dealt with an employee who put me on hold multiple times and never once apologized for the delays. And yes, your base price is competitive (not the cheapest, though); however, your $15 shipping charge is extremely high. I order many things online and I NEVER pay $15 for UPS service. If I'm such a valued customer why did no one ever respond to my customer service ticket? And why are you still not apologizing for the fact that it took 2 weeks for me to receive my medications, just making excuses? I think that says enough.
Update after AllVetMed updated their response to say that there's nothing wrong with my order (on 3/18): I'm done trying to argue with this company as I've taken my business elsewhere. I'd just like to make sure that all potential customers be sure to flip past the first page of reviews. You'll see that all other reviews are pretty poor and complain of the same thing I am. Just beware and realize you're taking a risk (if you need the product immediately)."
