"In November/December of 2021, I purchased a PTAC unit from Alpine and the experience from beginning to end was just fine. Fast forward to early April of 2023, the 1-year warranty of the unit has now expired, and the unit has leaked out all of the refrigerant and is no longer cooling/heating. I had a local A/C repair company come out and they found the leak and told me that it would be ~$900 to fix the issue and the original cost of the unit was not much more than that, so I decided to contact Alpine to see if there was anything that they would be willing to do to help me out...To my surprise, and great pleasure, Alpine came thru and chose to replace the unit, free of charge (except shipping)!
