"My mini split arrived damaged (FedEx's fault). It had a huge dent on the lid and side which extended into the coils. I paid $2,600 for the unit and when I went back to the site they had a coupon for $130 off. I explained that I needed the unit and would repair it myself if they compensated me $500. My friends and family said I was crazy to not ask for more. I asked about 10 people their opinion. They declined my offer and the most they would pay is $200. That's only $70 less than a brand new unit. I'm sure they paid nearly the same in shipping. I already waited for the unit to arrive and didn't want to wait for it to be sent to them and another sent back so I just returned it and ordered from their competitor.
If you look at the EER rating on their unit it's not that great anyways. I spend more and got a much better unit. This company must have a strategy I didn't realize because $500 was a steal for them.
Really odd that when I called FedEx they stated you guys were trying to claim the damage was $3,000. I let them know you valued it at the $200 as far as damage compensation to me. GOODLUCK!!!! Hopefully they don't see your fraud and do an audit! "

"First off, we love our Ductless unit. It is great. I am most disappointed in the fact that we had to search out all the accessories items needed to completely install the unit. The only item suggested was the line set and bracket. I had to search out the electrical shut off box and wires. I didn't think to search out the Line set cover and wifi module; now they want more for shipping then the cost of the entire line set kit. Shameful."

"Talked to a lady with Alpine who was very helpful. She told us the day it was shipped and also connected us to the company who was supposed to deliver it to us. They are still waiting for a truck coming our way to deliver. We still don’t know when they can get it to us. Not happy about this at all. The price of the item is great, but delivery service is terrible. "
