Package says delivered but to where?

"Your package was delivered. It was handed directly to a resident.

That is what it says when I look at my order.
Now if my family is home in the living room, and there's no knock on the door how is the package delivered. I contacted Amazon about this package, they told me that they'll investigate it and I'll receive a reply back in 72 hours. Now the item I ordered was a case for my new MacBook Pro 13 inch, so it wouldn't get damaged so if it gets damaged now they won't even care. Since Amazon started using their own delivery service they have been messing up. Leaving packages outside in Orlando where I live, now any one knows Orlando it always rain. Also as we've seen on the news or in youtube videos, packages are not safe just being left outside. Can they explain why they can't just ring the bell, or knock on the door when it's obviously an option thats easy? Now amazon is offering a service where they have access to your house to leave packages, do you think I wan't someone in my house after seeing how they are with the packages they already deliver? Amazon use to be so good at prices and delivery when they used trusted services like UPS or USPS. If Amazon would get better at delivery and service, I wouldn't have to ask for compensation for their issues.

Was Sent Wrong Item

"I thought they audited the package before it was sent out. I was sent the wrong item and customer service didn't really care. Horrible Service. I guess it the company doesn't care about the employees, the employees don't care either."

Double Charged Again

"I usually love shopping with Amazon but I've had problems with being double charged more with them than anywhere else in my life! They take full payment from my checking account of course but at the same time place a hold for the FULL amount on my checking account, essentially DOUBLE CHARGING me until the hold comes off! Not the first time this has happened, leaving me without MY OWN money for 3 days - week each time. How is this okay?"

There is more than the word horrible!

"I have been a loyal customer of Amazon for a few years now as Prime, i have been experiencing the good and bad service many times but I never complain. I have been experiencing a missing/lost delivered package before sometimes it was quick and some are a headache.

This month i ordered a nice expensive wind watch planning on giving it to my father but it wasn’t included in my other orders with same tracking. I contacted them they never seemed to care about it, and they would just send me their copy paste scripted email letter sorry apoligized cant help me because it was said delivered and for that it is on me now my problem, need to contact the UPS courrier or else report it to my local post office and send the reports to them if it is solved or something then they can help me solve my problem.

I just forget about it since it was just less than $100 and dont have time to call and do reports to police for just a few bucks, the. I ordered again the same item, and the funny thing was it says delivered and i was there entire day in my house waiting by the window for the f* package and the status says delivered and i never see any UPS truck, so i figured it was lost or been delivered in the wrong address, i went to neighborhood and ask about the package unfortunately nothing.

So i message amazon customer service for 10 times and asked for help but the same responses with different customer services the scripted message again, i mean i dont know how to explain my frustration and stressed to these people and the service, this is not the only time that happend to me, i ignored their mistakes just this time is very frustrating, i dont feel valued at all.

I wanted to complain to their highest positioned boss about their helpfulness, but i guess everyone are like that and customers doesn’t matter anymore. This is my last buy from them and will quit my prime for this year and forever and will spread this bad experience. Lucky for those people who didnt experience this horrible situations!

Delivery is AWFUL

"Guaranteed same day delivery is always 2-4 day delivery. Customer support has no say whatsoever in the carrier's service. In my current situation I have been promised 5 times by customer support over 4 days that my delivery would happen that day. It still has not arrived. If the driver is out of "delivery hours" they will stop delivering even if they are at your front door. Since I am at the end of the route this has happened 3 days in a row. How do I know? Tracking maps show their route and each time the driver is in the apartment complex and even shows the driver outside my door but no delivery because he "ran out of delivery hours". Absolutely the worst customer support to go along with the delivery."

Amazon sells counterfit merchandise

"Am new To Amazon so take this review with a grain of salt. Saw some Hermes men belts for like 30.00 To 60.00 and a devosa Swiss watch for 769.00 Went through the web ordering system. Next thing i know the complete the order. No way i want to review . Basically still window shopping and not actually purchasing. However my credit card is in their system and the hit my card. I cancel the order right away. Several reasons . Not buying and still doin my research . Plus my bank acct only has 300.00 or so The trans get canceled my bank charges my card 25.00 twice. I call amazon to discuss the matter. Night mare . O M G what stupid morons , It gets straightened out after 15 phone calls and a lot of bull. As far as the Hermes the rep on the phone told me the Merchandise is not counterfeit Really ? Hermes belts real ones are 950.00 not 30.00 Whats the point telling customers wait a minute We at amazon try to make sure You know wink wink f that . You cant have it both ways . Are the Hermes belt for 30.00 us real Yes we try to do our best.W T F kind of lame answer is that Amazon. Bottom line the belt was fake and the watch is way to much money . Amazon charges sellers 20 pct commission I see fake Jordan sneakers too. Bottom line buyer be ware . I still dont understand letting third party selling Counterfeit defective merchandise on the biggest company website in the world. Change the name To Trumps place . Then i know how dishonest it is. This is a real review by a real person . So amazon f you if you dont like it cause it actually happ to me recently "

Really horrible delivery service lately

"As a loyal and very FREQUENT customer, I am really saddened by my recent experiences with Amazon. I’ve had two recent orders that just didn’t arrive with very little explanation. And when I called, the associates I spoke to on both occasions were less than helpful, which ultimately led to my decision of canceling my prime membership. I paid for my prime membership because I live in NYC and it’s just easier to order household items online as opposed to lugging heavy bags from the store. However when your items do not arrive in the “guaranteed prime” timeframe, it adds more stress to my life. Having to call and track down items and speaking to USPS time and time again makes the ease and appeal of online ordering less than appealing, and downright frustrating. I am saddened also because the amazon representatives I spoke to didn’t seem to care much about offering a solution other than “let’s see if the package arrives tomorrow”. Unfortunately that is not a solution for me, also considering the hundreds and even thousands of dollars I’ve spent at Amazon. I understand that Amazon is a massive company and makes millions each year. I understand in the whole scheme of things, the few thousand dollars I spend with you doesn’t really matter, however I wanted to share my recent experiences with you, in the small chance it might matter.

Horrible delivery service

"Amazon is great at a lot of things, just not in their delivery options or self carriers.
i.e. They have their own delivery service and it's good for same day shipping and delivery, just not when delivering your product as expected. I have found my packages the the next morning by my garage door outside, by the outside of my entry way door. They refuse to rind the doorbell, I have watched them out my window just drop the package, and just leave and mark the package as delivered. If I'm not there to see them, do you know how many sketchy people can stop by and just grab it. So I gotta give Amazon a horrible rating on this part of their service.

Delivery FAILS, Amazon changing shipping times in system (from Prime to Standard)

"Purchase something w/ Prime and the system switches from Prime to Standard Delivery after order is in. I watch as it happened, deliver went from Tuesday to Friday for somethings that's IN Stock. This is NOT the 1st time this has happened and it's becoming frustrating.

Amazon has changed delivery methods and providers. I used to get 'to door' delivery of items and now some come via courier service, some UPSP, some UPS, whatever. And last order was 3 day delivery for un-stock that after waiting (as it was a $500 item), then switched to Monday. What happened to delivering 7 days??? I live 30 minutes from fulfillment center here in SoCal. Now I find items dropped off late night by plain clothes people that look like they're casing the place. No door knock, no notice. Just supposed to sit and stare out the door or leave it for others to steal.

This last time, contact Customer Service, they tell me I selected Standard Delivery. As IF I would do this. They didn't answer as to why the OTHER item I ordered at the same time was being delivered today (Tuesday.)

Then later in the 'chat' he confirms, yes I DID select 2 day BUT then they changed it to Standard 5 day delivery. Item showed 'in stock'.

I'm DONE dealing with India. I have nothing against the country or the people, just that they read their scripts and repeat, repeat, repeat till you will agree to anything just to not deal with them again.

Amazon has / had 2 things going for it. Cost and Convenience. Well, they're slipping on both as Walmart now offers faster local delivery and pricing is competitive. Everyone now will price match now so the edge is gone there. It irks me to pay for a premium service and get Standard.

Off to BestBuy to purchase today what Amazon could not seem to get to me on time.

Read the Reviews--Agree with some

"My wife and I have been buying from Amazon for years and have had very few problems. The problems we have had were handled fast and well by their service staff. If it required me to send back the item, all I needed to do was repackage the item. A guy would show up at the door within a couple days with a prepaid, pre-addressed label that he would slap on the package, and away it would go. Almost everything we have purchased from/via them has been true to description and rating. I have read many reviews about the new delivery service issues and these people have valid issues that need to be addressed by the company. I have never signed up for Prime (even though the way they make you do your orders may trick one into signing up for it.), and probably never will. We do not ever need fast delivery on anything we buy from them, and like the delivery we get from USPS or UPS, or FEDEX. It seems that most of Amazon's problems are self-inflicted because they deal with issues of delivery and/or service. Maybe they should ditch their own delivery service---since most of the really great, reliable delivery personnel were snapped up long ago by the "other guys". They need to stick to basics and leave the rest to others to handle. "

Sensational Service

"So after ordering a sunroof wind deflector for my car and receiving it with a crack, I called Amazon service and they cheerfully sent me a new one, with out even returning the old one! This was the easiest , most enjoyable exchange, return issue or NON-return experience I've ever encountered. That's why Amazon is number 1, thanks so much!!!"

Going downhill

"Placed an order on Friday for an item available to deliver on Sunday. Sunday came and went and nothing. Finally got a notice of delivery on Tuesday. Just plain awful. No explanation just awful fulfillment"
