"I order from amazon almost every day and I've never really had a problem with them.. Of course I did pay for prime.. I've heard iffy things about they way they treat their warehouse workers but I have to say, from my personal experience, they provide the same products I would buy in a store, a little cheaper and delivered for free. "

"Amazon.com is a pretty decent place to shop. I've ordered dozens of things from them with no problems. Their customer service is good at solving minor problems, but they lack at solving major problems. Packages usually arrive in good condition. I don't really mind the slow shipping, but if you need your stuff fast, buy it at Soap.com, YoYo.com, etc. Definitely will shop here again."

"Had customer service call me in reference to a Texas Instruments Ti-83 calculator bought used from them via their "associate," "Warehouse Deals, Inc." Item was shipped without the pirated CD manual and cord that was in the ebay-style picture. Customer service acted like: 1) It was my fault; I ordered a "USED" item, 2) Only NEW calculators come with cords and cd's. I informed that NEW ones come with OEM packaging and manual materials. The pictures of the used ones are the ones that look like ebay pictures with a pirated cd and a cable, loose, on a homemade white background. Had to argue to get them to take it back. Screw these guys and Amazon too. If you want to be frustrated, be treated like an idiot, and have to sit through someone trying to get you to accept less than you were told you'd get, I'd highly recommend these jokers. BEWARE WAREHOUSE DEALS, INC. and AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE"

"I ordered a remote control for my camera on June 29th and it came in the mail for me on July 8th. Everything went very smoothly, there was no problems with my order, shipping, or delivery. There was very clear communication between the company and with me; they gave me clear details on when I should expect my package and my tracking number all in one e-mail which made things much more organized. However, the shipping time was slow and I didn't get the remote in time for my trip. My package though was in good condition with no damage, so I'm definitely going to shop at Amazon again."

"I have had an Amazon account for several years but it seems as though in the past couple of years their "customer service" (and I use that term lightly) has been next to non-existant. I have received several packages from Amazon itself that have been poorly packaged and the new goods that I purchased have been received in poor or damaged condition. Oddly though the items received from outside sellers have been packaged correctly and the items were perfect. I have complained and cussed about previous shipments but went ahead kept them - too much trouble to repackage and return them. But they really got my goat on my last order. This time I went ahead and repackaged and returned it. I had ordered several items and when I got the package today a boxed set of DVD's that I had ordered was completely crushed and the box containing the movies was bent and mangled. Because they had tried to fit my whole order in a small box there was no room for protective packing material and the box itself was unable to fully close. The DVD's seemed to have absorbed the worst of the abuse during shipping and the other items were (for the most part anyway) undamaged. But I've had enough. Amazon has turned a deaf ear to me when I have tried to communicate with them before and I'm sure that will be the case now. It seems as though success has turned them into nothing more than a gigantic corporate entity unwilling to respond to the "common man". It's too bad, they used to be different and acted as though they really cared. I know that losing a customer (even a 10+ year one)will go completely unnoticed but maybe if they lose enough they may eventually realize that its people like us who made them a success. My daughter will miss her 8 hr. triple feature movie party tomorrow because I'm returning her movies but I am sick and tired of buying "new" items and receiving damaged goods. I'll run up to the local Best Buy and buy the set if need be, but no more settling for what Amazon chooses to give me for my money. "

"I used to be an Amazon Prime member, but I never really needed the fast shipping. I always get the free shipping option from Amazon.com and the products always arrive on time or sooner than the expected date. I ordered two crock pots this time around and they were delivered a couple days earlier than the expected shipping date. Both items arrived new and perfect! I use Amazon to order everything from books to shampoo and I have never had an issue. Great and efficient company. "

"I have to agree with other reviewers, amazon has a bad customer service. Note that they don't take full responsibility for their sellers as long as they continue to make money for them for using their service. I have recently ordered a 2TB My Passport USB hard drive from a "Fortune Deal" seller, and they sent me a 1TB HD for the half the price that I have paid for and they have not respond to request for a 2TB HD. I have contacted amazon customer service, and they told me it's not amazon responsibility for any sellers on their site and said that I can contact the seller directly if I want to. How can they not be responsible for all the sellers on their site when I purchased stuffs thought amazon. People should avoid buying stuffs from amazon anyway possible, because some sellers are scamming people on their site and amazon don't seem to care about it."

"Ordered a kindle touch a couple months ago and wanted to leave a review about it now that I've used it for a while. I had the non-touch version of the kindle prior to this, and I can now say that the touch is a lot easier to use. I am very happy with it overall, my only complaint is that it doesn't have a built in light for night reading."
