"Order number: ***-***-****-6353038
Item: Galaxy s3 through amazon wireless
Be aware that if ordering through Amazon wireless, you will be charged $250 if you don't use the SIM card sent with the new product. I assumed that I could just pop in my old SIM card, and two months later I get a notice stating I was to be charged $250 for not using the provided SIM. Also, don't even think about swapping out your SIM with another when using this service. They will know you are doing this, and look at it as a breach of contract and again charge $250. I think its better to just order the device directly from your carrier instead of messing with this extra service. Very bad experience with my purchase."
"I find products shipped directly from Amazon are just fine. Somewhat slower shipping than most companies but ok.
However, their Marketplace vendors are very poor. I'd estimate about 2/3rd of the products I order from Marketplace participants fall into one of the following categories: 1), advertised to be in stock when no stock exists and item requires back order 2), correct item ordered, wrong item shipped 3), prices vary all over the place and you need to be very careful you can locate all the vendors that sell a particular item and 4), freight charges can be egregious.
Basically, if you want to waste your time, use the Marketplace. I have now stopped."
"love, love, love! I can always find the cheapest price from household items, beauty products, to luxury items. I can also use my reward points from my credit cards to pay for my orders. I've been buying things for free! How cool is that!
Well, except they could improve on customer service. The call needs to be transferred several times until you get someone that knows what they're talking about. A bit frustrated sometimes, but I can cope with that once in a while!"
"Here is some good advice. If you see anything in the automotive category "sold by Amazon.com" do not buy it. There is a huge chance it will not fit your car. I fell for this 4 times out of 6 orders. You are much better off purchasing from a 3rd party seller on Amazon. And if something goes wrong, forget Amazon customer service. All they do is send you email templates that don't even apply to the problem or question. Its like they have monkeys working there just picking out templates to send based on keywords on your email, or maybe it is even just an automated system. No idea, but it is not customer service. You will not get a real written answer to any email you send to Amazon. "
"Very poor customer support. They just say they are the most "customer friendly", but the opposite is true. As Prime customer I don't feel valued. They customer center can't solve issues, they promise but nothing happens. The random "re-enter your card" is very annoying. Mr. Bezos - I'm disappointed!
I have revised the ratings, based on the amount of packages we are getting and the quality of service, the unfortunate low point is their customer support, that is not helpful, provides false information (yes they tell lies) and clearly demostrate they don't care about customers. One positive experience with Amazon Fresh customer service, but the rest is frustrating to deal with..."
"I buy off amazon like 80% of the time. Really great site."
"I buy quite a bit from Amazon. Having Prime membership is a big draw. 2nd day free shipping is hard to beat. Lately I have seen that they came up with some ADD ON program that basically negates the whole prime thing for low priced items. Also, I had an instance in the past in which I bought FROM AMAZON (not a 3rd party seller) a product that had a really good price. They had it IN STOCK (so they said). I waited a few days and no tracking...I started asking and they came back with some crap about their supplier not having the item. If that was the case why did they put IN STOCK in the first place? They should have put something like "Our supplier says they have stock". Days passed, I kept asking for tracking and at the end they order was cancelled because they said they couldn't get the item, when actually there were MANY other sellers offering the product both on Amazon and outside. In other words, they made a mistake and didn't want to honor the price. Aside from that one instance, I have bouth from Amazon many times with no problems, so... I will keep buying from them anyway and give them 5 stars :)"
"Most everyone on the web knows about Amazon so I want to express the satisfaction that I have with Amazon Prime and not only how much I have saved but how FAST you receive things. I will never be a non-prime member again! "
"Used to be a loyal Amazon customer, that is until I had to contact customer service. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I will not shop there again."
"Amazon sent me my products quick and precise. I love shopping here and will continue to come back!"
"You might call me a frequent flyer of Amazon.com, in any given year I spend thousands of dollars on nearly a hundred orders at Amazon.com . I've realized that Amazon's prices are just so good that you can't beat them on anything. I've even started buying normal housewares on Amazon simply because the markup in stores is ridiculous.
For $39 a month I have been a member of Amazon Prime for 5 years, and I wouldn't trade this for anything. Free 2-day shipping with $3.99 1 day shipping simply can't be beat, although I don't use it very often the Amazon prime video service is also pretty great.
Perhaps the best thing about Amazon.com is their customer service, whenever I have an issue with a delayed order or product related issues Amazon.com is extremely quick to remedy the situation, with not a question asked... If you've got a problem, they'll fix it.
Unfortunately, I would not give Amazon high marks for there selling functions. I've stopped selling on Amazon because of their ridiculous fees, I got tired of selling a book for 40 dollars and sending $15 to Amazon... I'd rather do it on eBay for less.
Another problem with selling on Amazon is that they never provide enough shipping credit. I don't know in what world you can ship things across the country for $3 but its not this one.
As a buyer, Amazon.com is great, as a seller... Move along."
"Amazon Customer's Service is Fantastic! I contacted its Customer Service line a few times in the past and never get dissatisfied. They normally reply my email within 5-6 hours and I always get satisfied solution. Will forever be an Amazon.com customer."
"Amazon is terrible for sellers!! It allows buyers to lie and leave negative feedback for no reson except that they found a better product at a later date (and want to buy the other product) and want to make their case look better. It allows buyers to keep items for several weeks and then contact the seller to say that it is broken or not as described and that they want to return it!! Amazon is the worst and as a seller OR buyer, they will never get my business again!!!!!!!!!! BUYER and SELLER beware!!!"
"Best online shopping site ever. Not only do you get 3-5 day free shipping on most items (most of the times they deliever in 3 days), but also if you are a prime member you get 1-2 day free shipping, which you can sign up for a yearly fee, or if you are a student you receive those benefits for free, for six months. So far I have not had any inconvenience with non of the items I've bought. The website itself makes it easy for you to find exactly what you are looking for; it also compares prices from different vendors!"
"Great results and easy ordering. Must watch if ordering several items not from same supplier. Shipping charges add up to more than the cost of the purchase. I can ship the same items for half of what I am charged, MAJOR RIP OFF!!!"
