"I ordered some equipment at 1pm, so I could get it shipped to me the next day. I checked back at 5 because I havent heard anything. The customer service guy told me it was to late for it to ship to me tomorrow, I asked him what the cut off time was and he said 4, I ordered at 1, why wasnt it going to ship. He said, "do you really need it by tomorrow"? I said yes, that's why I made sure to order it before 4. So I told him to cancel the order, I can just go in person to another store tomorrow to buy what I need. After a while, I called back in to see what was going on with the cancellation, so that they couldn't charge my card and have to go through a week long process to refund my card. He said it wasnt cancelled but the second guy got it cancelled. I'll stick with actual stores to where I can see and get the stuff in person."
"They shipped a guitar to to the wrong address ... Said I had to file a police report really? Then I called them said sorry the guitar was in the warehouse no problem $20 rerouted fee. No problem. Never sent the guitar to the correct address .. Never issued the credit they promised in 7 10 days and are continuing to bill me $89 a month for a guitar listed as retuned in my account that I never got. Beyond angry. I would not pay AMS $1 for a real 1959 Les Paul.They are either idiots or thieves or both."

"I ordered a guitar from AMS as a Christmas gift weeks prior. The guitar showed up with serious issues with the frets and string buzz. I was told to either bring it to a warranty center or return it for another. I chose to return it. Upon the arrival of the second guitar, it had the same exact fret issue. Completely uneven frets that would require filing and shaping to repair. At this point, I had 4 days prior to Christmas to get the guitar either repaired locally or returned (AGAIN) without any chance for another in time for the holiday. I chose to send it back for a full refund. With my travel plans for the holiday, I was unable to bring the gift I originally chose or get what I was looking for from a local shop. They didn't care, they didn't do their job, they are unreliable. "
"I was in need to place an order " the old school way", which requires human touch and interaction remotely.
I placed a mail order from Pennsylvania, and it got return from the address that I instructed AMS to deliver.
They timely tracked the package, reimbursed me and replaced the order at no additional cost even though it was my fault.
I had to interact with the person who specializes on this type of orders. Via phone or email I ALWAYS got a response from Mr. Dominique Nash, either by answering his engine, returning my call or email in record time. always less than 1 hour which is admirable in today's business world when you are just a part of " the queue".
Thank you for making it happen and delivering quality products. Thank you because you showed that you choose the beat people to work with. I'm impressed.

"I've been loyal customer of American Music Supply. I think this a good company as they allow folks who could not own equipment to pursue their dream easier. I am a Grammy Award Producer. I paid my bills with this company on time never late. I spoke with AMS manager to not charge a specific credit card on my account as there was an issue with the card (Fraud) so use another card that I added to my account. I was told no problem the card would not be charged. Couple weeks later the bank alerted me that there was an issue with the card, found out AMS kept charging the card which racked up fees of over $500 in charges. I immo call AMS they were rude treated me like I was a criminal refused to correct the problem and basically told me to go screw myself. They have now reported to the credit system that I am a bad customer and none of these online companies will issue credit even with a 735 fico score I've made several attempts to settle this matter but every time they talk to as if I stole form them and they over talk you so you cannot address the issue at hand. Beware that they have a system that is similar to the credit agencies and they speak to each other via this network. This company customer service is **** and I guess their experience is everyone is a crook if there is an issue with your account. "

"I made my second payment but kept getting need to pay emails and robo calls. I called them and they said I hadn't made my payment and didn't have a new card number in their system. Tried figuring out how to fix the situation but why'll talking to their rep, I was cutoff and told I still needed to make the payment. My card showed the authorization and it was posted. Somehow they tried to charge the card they said they didn't have and for an amount unrelated to the transaction. My card company confirmed the payment and blocked American Musical from making any further charges. This was done only because they were trying to charge my account frivolously.
I talked to a manager named Zach and he said I owed them money in a voicemail he left, this was after my card company said to file a police report about the unauthorized attempted charge unrelated to the payment plan. They acted like there weren't any consequences for them trying to double charge my payment and couldn't explain the unauthorized charge.
Throughout all of this they we're rude and ignored my assertion of the payment being made. I see there rating here, very poor, but actually think it is worse than what's portrayed here. Through all this, they never told me to go online and fix some of the issues. Like changing the card myself."
"I bought a brand new DDJ-SR2 hoping to mix and also use the microphone output to record audio. Little did I know that it doesn’t let you record audio which is 75% of why I bought it. After emailing AMS they simple stated that it was past the 45 day return window and that they can’t do anything. Basically **** out of luck now. Thanks for nothing, a bunch of people just looking to take your money any way they can."
"I have had good service from these people, I’ve bought between 2500 to 3000 dollars of merchandise with them and no problems. A PRS CE 24 a 60 watt Vox amp and a couple other items. They financed everything when my credit was not all that great and it was all fine. They don’t report to credit bureaus but still make your payments on time, you will billed credit with them. And one thing good about that they don’t report is, it doesn’t hurt your credit when you run up a 3000 to 4000 dollars of your overall credit utilization so it goes easy on your credit score. You be responsible enough to know what you can afford and what you can’t. There shipping was great, I seen where some people complained about there shipping, the thing is they have 3 warehouses located across the country where from any area of the lower 48 that is ordered from if fed ex has no unforeseen problems you well have your package in 2 days. I know when I’ve bought stuff I’ve got some items I received the very next day which was really nice to place an order and have it in your hands within 24 hours. I’ve had a couple of little issues with the billing but it was nothing more then a phone call and there staff would take care of it right away. I’m thinking about another pretty nice guitar purchase and I will use them again. All of there staff are always ready, capable, and friendly. What more could you ask for Kenny "
"Bought Cymbals. Opened box and crash was defective. Asked for refund and they refused. Said I had to file a claim with Meinl for replacement crash. I said I would file a claim with my credit card company and Customer service supervisor emailed me saying I shouldn’t do that ??!!!!!
