"The mattress is a little on the firm side, I put a memory foam topper on top of it and now it is fine. My husband thinks it is too firm, but is tolerating it. I have degenerative disc disease with 8 herniated discs and have torn both rotator cuffs so nothing is completely comfortable, but I will say it beats our old mattress. Have had a lot less back pain since switching and wake up with less stiffness. The shipping was very quick and arrived ahead of the time they promised it by."

"I have degenerative disc disease, spinal stinosis, 16 herniated/bulging discs between c6-c7 down to S1. 11 of those discs are dessicated, 5 are torn and leaking inflamatory proteins. After getting my as3 Amerisleep mattress I no longer need Rx narcotics to control the pain and make me comfortable enough to sleep. In fact I noticed after the first few days, when I forgot to take them, I didn't get back out of bed to take meds, my pain was tolerable enough to sleep. Normally the pain would be so bad I would have to get back up and take them to make the pain tolerable enough to sleep. Tylenol or Ibuprofen is enough unless I am more active than usual. Before this mattress, I would need to take pain meds 15 mins before I was physically able to get out of bed and now Tylenol or Motrin is all I need. I receive dry needling 3x a week. I am still handicapped (can't bend or twist), but my quality of life has improved by leaps and bounds. "

"The bed is awesome! It was just damage when it arrived & it took over a week to get a new cover for it. In the future, they should overnight or at least quickly deliver the replacement item. I think it should have been a priority, plus a follow-up phone call. The bed is not cheap.......so that was a bummer!"
