"I love my new mattress. I give it 5 stars. My husband thinks it's a bit too firm for him right now, but he thinks it will soften to perfection soon. Delivery was sooner than I expected!!! yay!! "We are still breaking in an AS4--probably exacerbated by very cool (60) night time bedroom temperature, and two people weighing less than 145 lbs each. Mattress is still surprisingly firm, for what Amerisleep characterizes as a medium soft mattress, but it is finally starting to relax a bit. Initially experienced lower back pain with mattress, but that is starting to dissipate. I think we will eventually really like this mattress, but we did not anticipate such a lengthy break-in period--now thinking it will be at least another month or so of warmer temperatures before we really get to experience the AS4 in accordance with our expectations. We live in KS, but I did have a chance to visit an Amerisleep store in Scottsdale, and a representative was very helpful confirming that it could take as many as 90 days to really break in the mattress. It would be useful to have this information at inception to manage expectations. Am still walking on it periodically to "loosen" it up, and again, it is starting to be more responsive. Will update again once the mattress is fully broken in. "
"I had my doubts about this mattress but it definitely proved me wrong. I had been looking at all different types of mattresses but the reviews for the amerisleep as3 were pretty outstanding. I would recommend this mattress to anyone its like sleeping on a cloud. "

"Talk about amazing customer service! First of all, we ordered the AS3 in queen size, after the first two weeks we realized 1. We wanted a bigger mattress and 2. It was a little to firm for us. I called them to exchange the mattress for a larger and softer one. The lady on the phone did the sleep test and thought the AS4 would be too soft for the positions we sleep in, so they upgraded us to the AS3 California king (which yes I paid for) but threw in a complementary 2 inch memory foam mattress topper. She said it was like an AS3 and a half, a step before the AS4. All of this was done with no hassle and my new mattress arrived within 2 days! They even arranged to have the old one picked up no problem. I was extremely skeptical about buying a mattress online, I was afraid of not being able to try it before I committed to it but guys this was so well worth it. I could not have been happier with my experience. If you try it and don’t like it, I promise you the return/exchange process is so easy and they do everything for you. Truly have nothing to lose here. "
