Went with the AS4 and some reviewers said it was “way too firm.” I don’t understand this at all. I like a medium mattress and my partner likes a very soft mattress and the AS4 meets both our needs. I would in no way call it “firm.” It is soft, but responsive. Exactly as described. We are both getting the best nights of sleep we have had in a long time and it sleeps very cool as well. Would buy again in a heartbeat and wouldn’t change the firmness level. "

"My wife is very sensitive to the "chemical smells," and I was thinking we might have to let this mattress air out for a few days prior to sleeping on it, but when I opened it, there was not a single offensive scent. On top of that, after 4 hours, the mattress had opened very nicely, was firm but soft enough. We got the AS3, which I was concerned would be too firm for my pillow-top loving wife, but after the very first night's sleep, we were hooked. I'm telling you, this mattress keeps my wife's flip-flopping and covers-on, covers-off, motions from waking me up. It's the real deal!

What I did not like was the bed frame. I read a couple other reviews about how the legs fall off, and sure enough, even as I was putting the frame together, one of the legs bent. It would never return to normal. I eventually replaced the frame with a metal frame I found on Amazon. My recommendation is don't waste the money on the frame, unless you're okay leaving the legs off and just putting it directly on the floor.
