"Tried 2 other beds shipped directly to my home. Neither worked for our specific needs. Both companies were great to deal with, but after two failures we were really afraid to try again. I have never been a fan of memory foam because of the heat and the inability to roll over. Was determied to not go that route, but after trying the other two (latex, and purple) there were not many other options. My husband and I both have back, and neck problems and are both side sleepers. We could not find a bed soft enough to relieve the shoulder pain from sleeping on our sides, but firm enough to support our back problems. I read the specs on all the amerisleep beds and decided on the amerisleep 5. The new technology they described of not getting "stuck" and staying cool sounded like I might need to give it a try. Boy, are we glad we did. No back problems, shoulder problems etc. I do have to say, it has a really weird feel....firm and soft all at the same time....completely supportive. It's not one of those beds that when you crawl I to it, you just melt down and cozy up in, but you are strangely comfortable and wake with no aches and pains. In my mind, I still want it to be extremely soft, but our sleep speaks for itself. My husband used to get up every night about 2 am and go get on the couch. He hasn't gotten out of this bed yet! I don't want to get out of bed in the mornings. Before I could not wait to get up my back hurt so bad. Strongly recommend giving amerisleep a try. And by the way....i can roll over just fine, and I am a flipper, although since getting this bed I go for long periods of time without moving. We love our amerisleep 5!"

"If it weren't for the recommendations by my sister, I would have gone with one of the other myriad of online out of the box bed companies for the following reasons:
1. No delivery inside house and setup
2. No taking original mattress (i am still waiting on trying to find someone to pick it up- hurricane harvey has caused a lot of pickup services to shutdown to public)
3. Cannot get immediate response online and sometimes phone calls put me on hold forever.
4. no mattress foundation was offered.

Other places like loom and leaf make you feel like you are buying from a brick and mortar place without the hassle of having to go into the store. I hope you guys might reconsider adding a bit of warmth and small touches as mentioned to improve the overall customer experience."

"I was skeptical ordering a mattress online, as well as, the thought of it arriving in a box. I read the reviews and spoke with some friends whom tried it. My previous mattress was shot, so my wife and I figured we would try Amerisleep out. I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. I was in a car accident 2 years ago and haven't had a good, solid sleep since. My night was generally filled with tossing and turning, trying to get comfortable enough to fall asleep. When I finally did fall asleep, I would wake up every two hours and repeat. Many times, I ended up sleeping on the couch. The first night with the Amerisleep mattress, not only did I sleep all night, my lower back pain started to feel better. I purchased my mattress in winter, I can't wait to see what the cooling feature is like. I haven't tried the Amerisleep pillows yet, but I bet they're great."
