"Bottom line: Prices and selection are great, but customer service is unpredictable. Wait times are often long. Calling them is a random shot in the dark. You might get a representative who is friendly and helpful. Or you might get Mr. Crankypants who hates every customer including you.
I buy about 6 appliances per year from them. I appreciate their low prices and selection, and I accept that I have to put up with iffy customer service.
Luckily, most orders go smoothly. Delivery takes 7-10 days because items have to be trucked across the country. The local delivery company does a good job.
But sometimes things go wrong, and it can be a hassle to get things straightened out. Here's a recent example. I recently received a microwave that had hidden damage not visible when delivered. FedEx was completely unhelpful (their "investigation" went nowhere; they never even bothered to follow up).
I entered a trouble ticket into Appliance Connection's online trouble ticket system but received only generic computer-generated messages telling me that it would take up to 2 weeks to receive a reply.
That time went by, and I couldn't get any useful response using the online ticket system.
I finally called and spoke to Monika, who was very helpful and understanding. She understood what went wrong, knew how to fix it, and kept me up-to-date with emails. Her service was absolutely outstanding. She persistently followed up at every step to be sure that everything went smoothly. Great service from Monika!"

"I purchased a Washer and Dryer from Appliances Connection in August 2020. By December I had still not received it. I kept being told that they had not received any from the manufacturer. Finally in mid December I was told the dryer was in but not the washer. I kept asking to speak to someone up the food chain as everyone I spoke to said there was nothing they could do. I finally spoke to a manager who I proposed the idea of splitting the difference of the cost of an upgrade on the washer as they had that one in stock. The upgrade would be $437.16 thus being $218.58 each. At first he told me no and that this whole situation was not his problem. I told him it was his problem as he sold me the washing machine and that I would be forced to give him a bad review since he refuse to help or take any responsibility. He then basically told me that he was cancelling my order and go somewhere else. He knew I didn't want to go anywhere else because I had got a really good deal on the set. After, talking a bit he agreed to upgrade me for $300.00. I was immediately sent an invoice for an upgrade for $300 which included sales tax of $137.16 on an out of state sale. My original invoice had no sales tax on it. I immediately tried to call back and every time I called in I was hung up on. I emailed in and told them they were not authorized to charge my card the $137.16. They never answered me. Next thing I know the washer and dryer shows up. Once the washer and dryer shows up two weeks later, they answer my email and tell me they are sorry but due to a new policy they have to charge sales tax. Well this amount is not conducive to the sales tax percentage and there is no sales tax on out of state sales. They just basically stole $137.16 from me. I would have given these guys a good word had they taken care of me. I understand COVID has been hard but they flat out stole money from me. Please beware of doing any business with these people."

She checked the order and found it was still backorder and may be another month before the manufacturer shipped. She helped me find a comparable range to replace the one I originally ordered that was only $10 more. She also included at no charge the 10yr appliance warranty. He was extremely professional, very kind and very accommodating. He listened to my entire experience and offered me a very fair and acceptable solution. After that experience I had I said that I would never purchase from Appliance Connection again.
