The lady was very polite but said they’re not affiliated with the online store. She wished we had shopped in store instead and apologized for the online! Never again will I even browse their site. "

we were scammed by Ashley’s. We bought a bedroom from them and the footboard was damaged. Also the staff didn’t assemble it correctly and I had to pay someone to come do so.
We also bought a table and six chairs and when it arrived it was actually small for the room. I told the delivery guy we didn’t want it he said they can’t take it back and if we called Ashley’s within 72 hours they’d take it back and offer a reselect. I did call within 2 hours and asked for a reselection on the overpriced furniture but the customer service were not helpful at all stating a ‘no return policy ‘ (which was not written anywhere, and they were not clear about). The irony is the contract we signed and their website has a 72 hour Happinesses Guarantee with 1 time reselect.
I called the next day, the customer service were not helpful again and and talked to the supervisor.
After talking to her about the size of the table she also kept stating the same stupid policy line, which they should teach to their drivers rather than customers. In the end she asked me for pictures of the table which we sent hoping they’ll review it for a reselect (we actually wanted to get a more expensive piece of furniture).
Later that day received a call that our request was not approved. Thanks for nothing Ashley
We just moved to Lexington and were planning on buying the rest of our furniture from Ashley’s, however they just lost a customer

"I bought a dining room set online, set up delivery. On the day of delivery, the truck was very late. It arrived almost 3 hours AFTER the latest time if the delivery window. When they brought in the table, I noticed a gouge in the table top and refused deliver. I called Ashely, and after being on hold for almost an hour, I was transferred to another dept. The other dept said they couldnt help me and hung up. I had to call again, and was on hold for another hour.
I finally got someone on the phone and was told that if I wanted a saturday delivery, I would have to wait 2 weeks . They made NO accommodation for the fact they had sent me a damaged table. So, I took another afternoon off work to get the table delivered. It arrived...and it was the SAME table, but with wood filler in where the gouge used to be. Not only did the wood filler not even match the wood, there was more damage to the table top. Again, I was on hold for over an hour. This time I just got my money back. This is clearly not a company I can trust. "
"Ashley furnitures customer service department does not know what they are doing! I ordered bedroom furniture and when it was delivered noticed that there were excessive stain blotches I'm two pieces, I tried to call customer service several times they had my account number under a different phone number and they couldn't even match my name or phone number to my account to schedule a day and time for tech to come out, each time I was told that they would call me 24 hours before they come out and I never received a call. I called the store where I purchased my furniture from and some of the customer Representatives didn't seem to care about my problem. I was told that attack would come out in the evening because I work during the day, but instead they came out early in the morning. The tech took pictures of my pieces and I was informed that somebody would get back to me. This was a week and a half ago and I've heard nothing, I called customer service today gave them my phone number tell them my problem once again and I was informed that there was nothing in the system regarding my concern about my furniture. I was also informed that Ashley was under new ownership and the old information has not been transferred yet. Really are you kidding me I as a customer have been trying to get this issue resolved for over a month and I'm still getting the runaround. I will never buy anything from Ashley again and I'm going to tell all my friends and family not to buy furniture from Ashley ever. Customer service that I have received has been horrendous and horrific and nobody seems to know what they're doing and nobody seems to care about my issue!"

"I Ordered furnature in May from the store on abercorn st in savannah. The furnature was mostly delivered and assembled in the 1st week in July, I say mostly, because the table arrived sans hardware to assemble it. We were told the technicians would come back and assemble the table later the same day. Later we were told the parts were ordered and would arrive yesterday, Wednesday, 24 July. The parts and technicians never arrived. Today I was put on hold over 30 minutes, then transferred 2 times, resulting in my call being sent to a VoiceMail message. The current date the store expects to finish the job is 13 August, 2019, almost 3 months after the furniture was ordered. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced!!!"
"Gainesville, Florida. We specifically wanted furniture made in the United States, not overseas somewhere. We specifically explained this to the sales person. The sales person stated that the furniture was made in Wisconsin. It took 30 days for delivery of our 3 piece living room set. The couch was in a box that said "MADE IN VIETNAM"! We spoke to the general manager and manager of the store to no avail. We spoke to the Compliance Department to no avail. Although the internet shows that Ashley Furniture has a 3 day return policy (from day furniture was delivered), purchases in this store ARE NOT RETURNABLE. This was not brought to our attention by the sales person when we purchased the furniture. Ashley Furniture will not allow us to return the furniture. Also, the delivery people punctured a hole in the back of the love seat. They won't replace the love seat but will send someone out to repair it.
We feel betrayed by Ashley Furniture. Dishonesty is not an acceptable way to sell anything. Shame on Ashley Furniture for misrepresenting where their furniture is made."
"I ordered a mattress from this place (Long Beach, Ca) and went with the free delivery. 2 weeks passed and on my delivery day I did not receive the mattress, nor a phone call or email. Called customer service the next day and was on hold for 45 minutes until someone answered my called. I was then told my delivery would not be shipped for another 2 days. And then I would have to wait another 7 to 10 days before I received my already payed for item. Cancelled and still had to wait 24hrs before I received a refund."

"I saw a dresser online that I liked and called the store to see if it was in stock, the sales lady put me on hold and came back to tell me yes it was in stock. When we got to the store we found out its not in stock and has to be ordered.
Ordered the dresser when it came in it had a chip in the top and one of the drawer runners hole for screw had been drilled too big. Called the store and was told she would order a new top that day and they would look at the drawer. I told her I paid for a new dresser and would take nothing less.
So my husband took off work again to take the dresser 40 miles back to the store so they could see it. Got a call that it was done so off work again to go pick it up, he said in the low light warehouse it looked good, when he got it home I noticed immediately it was not a new top because the paint didn't match. I called them up and asked why I wasn't given a new top and was told they have specialist in house to fixed items like this and are required to fix them instead of getting in new. She said if you'd like to bring it back in so we can look at it we could order a new top. What!! I was told you already ordered a new top. We've already made 4 trips up there I'm just going to cut my losses and never shop Ashley Furniture store again. I wish I'd looked up reviews before I went there. So buyer beware when your done you might just be paying for a scratch and dent item."
"I purchased a bed frame from Ashley Furniture on July 4th. The salesman told me that the bed would be delivered and everything would be taken care of. I received a call for my delivery time to be from 4-7pm. After waiting I received another call that my delivery was going to be from 5:30-8:30. My bed didn't come until 9:30 pm.
After the tech's got there, they took another hour to try and complete my order. The bed came with the wrong pieces and was not able to be put together after a whole hour. I waited longer than anticipated, and my order was never able to be completed.
I had plans that were canceled, and also had to be to work early the next morning. Also there was a few defects with the bed that was sent. I am so unhappy with this situation.
Per the service men I had received a returned item from a previous purchase. It was missing a button from the head board and screws that were needed to gold it together.
They said They had complaints the whole day with furniture that had been delivered, which is why they were late getting to me, with my furniture also not being sent in the correct form.
Someone needs to do something about the inconvenience that folks go through, when spending hard earned money, and getting a slack job and product. That is unacceptable.
I will take my money to the competitors at thismpoint for this major inconvenience.

Lee & Chris were very professional and helpful with no pressure and gave me plenty of time to make my choice with helpful suggestions Chris even went over and beyond to get my delivery date moved up sooner. Sorry I can't say good things about the warehouse and the delivery. I was told by the warehouse that my mattress was damaged and couldn't be shipped but if they got it repaired in time it might be shipped. I had purchased a NEW mattress not a repaired mattress! On my third scheduled delivery date I finally received my mattress and base at 8 AM . The delivery guys brought it in and put it into place and handed a phone to me without saying anything so I asked if I'm supposed to sign and he said yes. Packaging was left under the bed and I had to ask how to use the remote control. My experience with Ashley in the store was very professional but after I left there professionalism totally went away!"
"I received my new sofa, chair and ottoman on a Sunday, the furniture had a terrible smell that caused pain in my throat when they placed it in our home. I woke up Monday and the pain was not only in my throat but my lungs!! I called Ashley furniture several times who just told me to air out my home (which I was doing prior to being told). I tried speaking to a manager but every time I called female associates told me they were the manager. Come to find out all the managers at this location were male! So these associates were acting as the manager and I have no idea why. Finally, after contacting corporate I was Informed they will pick the furniture up and refund me and that I should not be having a reaction to the furniture. To make a very long story short It’s been almost a week and I still have lung and throat pain!! I have had to go to urgent care and call poison control per my doctor. This has been a horrible experience. No one should ever have to buy any product that has such terrible chemicals on it!!

"Woman that would call to schedule an appointment for delivery was rude and she would set up an appointment probably just to agree with me and call me a day of and tell that the furniture isn't available. It happened couple of times. The last time she set up an appointment and then i received a confirmation for a different date that I didn't agree for. We have to plan for somebody to be at home, since everybody works, and they just make their own rules.
Very unhappy with the experience and would not recommend this to other people."
