Liars

"We just moved into our new home 4/30/19 and were shopping around for a sofa set. We went to Ashley Furniture in Conshohocken Pa and was helped by a sales person by the name of Cierra. She gave me an estimated delivery date which was a week from the day the bought it 5/7/19 and to wait for a call regarding the delivery. Well I waited and a week went by and no one called. I called the store for an update and they said one piece came in but they were waiting for another piece and this waiting game went on for almost a month. No one seemed to know what was going on and when I was going to receive my sofa set. We’re still sitting on the floor. I called in one last time to check on the status of the sofa and Cierra is still throwing dates out there knowing full well she was lying and that she had no clue what was going on. I asked to cancel my order and went out that same day to buy my sofa somewhere else. Sierra had the nerve to call me and my husband to say she spoke with her manager and can TRY to get my sofa as soon as Wed 6/5/19. I said no thanks I bought my sofa elsewhere and you can go ahead and cancel my order. They are liars and are all unprofessional!!! Never again will I order anything from there! They are only there to make a sale then will screw you over later. I still have to make a trip back to the store to get a refund on the deposit I put down. An hr trip to the furniture store that failed us."

Bad customer service and Don't buy the 5 yr protection Plan!!!!!

"When i ordered my new furniture the sales person Sherri, talk me into 5 yr furniture protection plan for $239.99. Well, I call 2 yrs later to have a repair man come out to tell me the table top needs to be replaced due to manufacture defect in wood. Repair man said someone will call me later about repair. I received a call from warranty company, they told that I will have to call Ashley Furniture to get fixed ( due to it being a manufacture defect). So I called Ashley Furniture and they said sorry it's been over 1 year and your basically SOL. I had no Idea the manufacture of my dining room table made a mistake( and tried to repair) when they build table and still shipped product to a customer (me). I never use the table to eat, it basically sits in the dining room and gets used on special occasions. A size of a dime of wood came out of the table, and you can feel a glue like material on the back of the piece that came out of table. I feel Ashley Furniture should have asked me for my pictures and evidence of this deceit and asked manufacture to make right this defect in my table . The manufacture did hide the defect until one day I put my hand on this table and a perfect dime size piece of wood was stuck to the calm of my hand. Bad customer service and don't buy the warranty (protection)!!!!!

" with Ashley for years this is the best experience I had today was with Candice and anit I want to Hagerstown Ashley last night could not getting no good help so I want to Frederick Ashley today Candice and Anit are wonderful I will definitely go there and buy from them again they are very good people to deal with Candice was so nice and understanding and really listen to me and my financial needs an anit explained everything wonderful to me with my bill I will be recommending Ashley and Frederick to a lot of friends and Candice to see when they come in there I am just so happy I've never been so happy coming out of a furniture store before spending that kind of money Candice you are wonderful anit and you were very nice and wonderful to"

Liars and thieves

"If i could give zero stars i would, who knows maybe will finally step up and actually help me and i may change the stars....However here is my story, bought my bed online, got the mattress the following tuesday after ordering my bed was suppised to be delivered. Well i get a call monday letting me know that unfortunately its going to be delayed due to a hold from the manufacturer. Ok things happen, im told that my delivery will be set for not next thursday but the following thursday. So wednesday i get a call telling me that the bed will be in the warehouse thursday but i need to set up a delivery date......seriously.....so the next available date will be friday or Saturday....both days i will be at work now i have to wait til monday to call. So i call customer service where by the second person i talk to i find out i have a delivery scheduled for Wednesday. I once again will be at work....kinda fed up at this point, so i going to rent a truck to pick up tomorrow.....wrong, the third lady intalked with says that it wont even be at the warehouse til Wednesday.....but last thursday it was there.....absolutely ridiculous....not happy with this service or company and inwould bot recommended then at all.....its almost been a month, they have my money and im sleeping on the floor....."

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!! WHAT A JOKE!

" We started this journey in August of 2018. We ordered a $3,000 leather sectional. It took 6 weeks to receive all but one of the pieces. I called several times only to find it was in the Tyler warehouse and it would be another 2 weeks before I would receive it. I arranged to pick it up with my truck. When I picked it up it was ripped. There were issues with each part including mismatched pieces. They agreed to replace all pieces and deliver a new one.

The replacement was received several weeks later. One of the power recliners quit working within a week. They could not replace the second one because it was discontinued. At this point we asked to get our money back.

We decided instead to give them another chance and picked out another living room set. It was about $600 more. We picked out a couch and 2 recliners for replacement. This was delivered in December of 2018. One recliner has a horrible puff in the middle of it. The other recliner makes a irritating noise when you recline.

We purchased an extended warranty. We called for repairs. They can't fix the noisy recliner and said we would have to get use to it. The puff in the other recliner was “fixed” by replacing the foam. The repairman said that it was a inferior material. After 2 days of repair it is worse.

I would never recommend them or buy anything else from Ashley Furniture again. We wish we had gotten our money back instead of trying to replace the sectional with something else from them.

Great service and quality furntiure!

"My wife & two kids stop by the New Ashley in Riverhead. We were met by Vince (who by the way made us laugh right away). Vince then introduced us to the Senior Sales Manager Jonathan Zaldivar. We were blown away with the high level of service that he provided us with. Snacks for the kids- Starbucks and sweets for the wife and I. We’ve never purchased so much furniture without having a PUSHY sales guy- Raymore! We’re fortunate to have dealt with Jonathan & Vince. It didn’t seem as if they sold us anything, despite Jonathan strategically answering all of our concerns. Jonathan commended me for being coach and my wife for being a nurse. He educated us on how Ashley is out to make a positive impact on our community!! Hope and dream program allows his store to give and deliver a bed for a child in need! Wow! Although we purchased a mattress a year ago, he proceeded to show us some new and awesome technology he has in his store to fit a mattress to your exact comfort level. So people, if you purchase a mattress, your basically providing a kid in our neighborhood with a bed! All in all Great service, great pricing, great everything. Terrible Customer Service & Useless Furniture

"Ashley Furniture is the WORST store I've ever bought furniture from! We purchased their Marsilona Dining Room Table and less than three months of use the planks started to separate, we called it in and they told us to put a glass top over the table. Kind of beats the whole purpose of butcher block table. Nine months in of use the MDF has started peeling, there's bubbles where it's began to swell. We called it in again and we've been playing this game of them contacting us, sending out a tech, letting us know how they can fix the table. Nothing has come of it and they refuse to do anything because we didn't purchase the extended warranty, that wouldn't cover it any ways. Honestly why do you need a warranty on a kitchen table? Shouldn't any table hold up to everyday use of eating meals, spills and doing homework? This table DOES NOT and Ashley won't do anything about it. Beware if you give their products a bad rating they will take it down. I've submitted bad ratings on the table multiple times, each and every time it has been taken down. Go somewhere else to purchase better and higher quality furniture for less."

Lying To Our Face And Then Taking The Attitude They Are Being More Than Fair To Us!!!!!!

"Purchased sectional couch on 4/7/19 at the Brookfield CT store. Promised delivery on 5/4/19. Received text and two voicemails on 5/3 confirming delivery for the following day between 9-1. Called store and said they told me delivery had been postponed until 5/11/19. So far the following lies have been told: 1. I spoke to you in person yesterday to tell you. 2. I spoke to your husband yesterday to tell him. 3. I spoke to a woman at this number yesterday. 4. The reason you didn't get a phone call or text is because the ware house closed before we could send it We never spoke to anyone regarding change of delivery. Took off work to be here for it. We want to cancel the order and are told that we signed a contract saying they had up to ten weeks to deliver furniture before we could cancel without a 30% restocking fee. Actually told me they were getting us the furniture faster than the ten weeks. Like they are doing us a favor. Absolutely disgusting business practice. Customers mean nothing at this business. Feel absolute horrified that we fell for it. Lesson learned. "

worst Customer Service & Worst Delivery Team

"I bought a twin XL adjustable bed (cost $2349.35) from Ashley Furniture Home Store in Edwardsville, IL. The store promised to pick up my old Mattress and box Spring when I purchased the bed. However, on 4/27/2019, their delivery people refused to pick up my old mattress and box spring. He found all kinds of excuses to avoid doing their job, such as mattress should be packed in plastic bags. After I rejected his ridiculous excuses, he finally said his company would only pick mattress but not the box spring. I knew he was lying, because I bought mattress before and the delivery people picked up both of my old mattress and box. So I called the store and the guy answered the phone agreed they should pick up the mattress and box, but he changed his mind after talking to the delivery guy. I requested to speak to the manager, but he hung up the phone. Fortunately I bought another twin XL adjustable bed from SAATVA online and got the delivery 3 hours later that day, SAATVA
picked up my two old mattress and two Box spring without any problem. Ashley furniture has worst customer service and delivery team, while Saatva mattress online has great customer service and delivery team.

Refused to Deliver

"I ordered a couch from Ashley about a month ago for my apartment on the secon floor. Upon arrival, I was told that the couch was 1 inch too long to stand completely vertical on the stairwell and therefore would not be moved in for which I’m not entirely even positive was the case because I was going off “their measurements”. After refusing to even attempt to bring in the couch at all, the one gentleman was increasingly rude and visibly frustrated, making me feel very intimidated. I was pressured into leaving the couch in my garage and figuring it out for myself. Later on might I add, I had two friends come to the rescue and help carry the couch up the stairs, for which we EASILY were able to fit. When I called to get a refund for the delivery service because the couch was not delivered into my apartment, Ashley refused, saying that delivery men are not responsible if the couch “couldn’t fit”. Very disappointed with the service. Will not be purchasing from again. "
