Horrible

"Try to purchase a bed frame called made my own apt that got cancelled 3 times waited 2 months had enough so cancelled and now I'm still waiting for a refund check after a month .. dont do business with this company you get the run around for everything "

Adjustable Bed does not work!

On March 13, 2019 I purchased from a local vendor my adjustable queen bed. I received the bed on March 30, 2019. Ashley Furniture World Class Furniture Industry is the manufacturer. On yesterday April 19, 2019 the motor that control vibration has stop working. I reached out to the local vendor who stated they would contact Ashley. I contacted Ashley hoping to get this matter resolved quickly. To date I have left several messages with customer service. I have NOT received any acknowledgement of my concern from Ashley The World Wide Furniture Industry. I need a resolve ASAP I paid in full and I need Ashley Furniture to make good on product

Read & Believe... Run Away; Poor Quality, Bad Service

"Ashley get 1 star only because I had to choose a star in order to write the review. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before I made the purchase. I could have avoided horrible, on top of horrible; on top of horrible experiences if I had read and believed. I have had so many bad experiences with this one purchase of dining room, living room and bedroom furniture that they are too numerous to name; just take my word for it... run run run from anything that says Ashley’s. Salesperson lies to me, they said they don’t charge you until It is in your house. They charged me for things that never made it to my house. They made promises to me that they did not keep. The delivery process with another nightmare within itself. Don’t let the nice voice in customer service fool you; this service is absolutely a nightmare, unbelievable. If you don’t take my word for it, you will be sorry I live in northern Mississippi I talked to my Nieces in Houston Texas and Chicago telling them about my experience they said the same thing about Houston and Chicago. Ashley has a consistent bad reputation across several states. S. Thomas"

10 in bed in a box hybrid

"I was skeptical about a mattress that comes in a box. I thought no way this would be comfortable! Well Ashley furniture proved me wrong. This is by far the most comfortable bed i have ever slept on for 1/2 the price. I recommend this to everyone who is strapped for cash but needs a comfortable at an affordable price. Kudos Ashley furniture you have gained a loyal customer. Thanks for the great nights sleep... insomnia is gone."

Poor customer service with Regional Manager

"I purchased a brand new bedroom set, headboard, dresser & one nightstand. I than brought a 7 piece living room set which included the sofa with the chase lounge, chair and a (3) piece set, center table & two end tables. I brought a 64” TV stand with a fire place. I spent $4,995. I was told that everything was in stock except my TV stand (which would be in on 3/15/19). I went home and measured my space for the TV stand and the TV stand I really liked would fit, so I went back to the store in SF and I told the salesman that I wanted the 74”l TV stand fire place I initially looked at and he sale that it was in stock and that I could get it added to the original order and get everything delivered on 3/1/19. The salesman sent me to the front desk to pay the difference which was like $500 and I ordered one more nightstand and my bill with the changes total was $787 and they told me that I had to use the same credit card. My delivery date was scheduled for 3/1/19. I was informed by the salesman that Ashley warehouse will call me the night b4 with a 4 hrs. window time for delivery. On March 1, 2019 I received a call from Ashley’s warehouse and was i informed that my 74” TV stand was damaged when they opened the box at their warehouse and that I will receive a call when they get there next shipment. Afterward, the delivery truck comes with two guys. They started taking my furniture off their truck and all (3) of the tables were damaged so they put them back on the truck and brought in my sofe and chair. The chair was damaged too, but I didn’t notice it until after they left and while the guys were installing my bed, the headboard fell against the dresser & got damaged. A huge 2” scratch was on the headboard. The guys said they will send someone out to repair the huge 2” scratch. Later on that day after telling my
dad what had happened he asked me to meet him at Ashley so we can get a new headboard and find out about the TV stand and tables. My dad & I spoke to the salesman who sold us the furniture he went to get the floor manager and she was new and in training so she went and spoke with the regional manager Gary Donovan! He wasn’t concerned about the damaged furniture he said they will send someone out to repair it. My dad was like he doesn’t want it repaired he wants a brand new one. He paid for a new headboard. Gary was like that’s protocol and with regards to the TV stand he would’ve to look into it on Saturday and call me with the status. My dad was like no! My son wants his money back he’s not spending $6,000 dollars for damaged furniture. Gary was like I’m not going to give a refund (there are no returns) the only thing I’ll do is credit him for the 74”TV stand, nothing else, Ashley will send someone to his house to repair the headboard. He never mentioned the coffee tables or the chair. My dad said he’ll see him in court, Gary said so be it. I’ll see you in court. What a way to treat a customer who has spent $6,000 and still don’t have the TV stand, coffee tables, new headboard & chair! The quality of Ashley furniture is not worth the money. The customer service is horrible especially with the Gary Donovan the regional manager. On Saturday 3/9/19, I received a text from Maritsa at Ashley’s to call to her. I did. maritza said she was calling to schedule a delivery date to have the TV stand delivered. I told her no has contacted me until today. Maritza said they called me and left two messages I told her no one from Ashley called and left any messages on my phone and I there wasn’t any miss calls on my phone.
Maritza said she wanted to schedule a date to have the TV stand delivered. I told her what had happened and that I didn’t want anything from Ashley’s but my money back. Maritza said she understood and that she would talk with Gary Donovan and call me back on Sunday.
As of yet I haven’t heard a word from Ashley ‘s Furniture. I will never do business with Ashley again. I am still fighting to get my money back so I can go somewhere else to buy “new “ furniture.

Horrible experience

"I ordered my two sons each a dresser online from Ashley Furniture. They were delivered with threshold delivery since I found $80 to carry them to their bedroom not necessary. I was called to see if I was home because they were near so I rushed home earlier than expected only to wait FOUR hours for them to show up. The delivery men both spoke zero amounts of English and I wasn't able to communicate with them which was frustrating. I unpackaged both dressers with my husband and both dressers were severely damaged and not usable. Two drawers broken on one and the other had been dropped and the top smashed and wood broken as well as back being detached on half. I called customer service and waited 45 minutes on hold for someone to answer. I was told they would pick up a week later and at that time would be credited my money back. A week later, I waited during my four hour time frame and during pick up was told only one dresser was on the order to pick up and they were not allowed or authorized by dispatch to take the second broken dresser. Not the young man's fault and he was very pleasant however I had to again call customer service and arrange another pickup date... Meanwhile, the dresser is still in the middle of my living room... I call and am told there is nothing they can do but schedule a pick up which wouldn't be today. I have had two broken dressers in my living room which I cannot get my money back for until they pick up and was told: "Someone wasn't paying attention when they put it in to pick up and accidentally put in 1". Their multiple mistakes have cost me money, and many hours wasted and was never even offered anything to make it right to want to shop with them again. The customer service and quality were horrific."

Ashley is the best world furniture store. No way

"I purchase over 3,000 worth of furniture from Ashley Furniture store and the extended warranty. After 15 days of the original warranty they did not want to honor what they sold me.
Ashley Furniture do not have any customer service whatsoever when there's a complaint given to them. I complained to the consumers affair. They and no concern at all I was joke. Actually Furniture only cares about selling furniture that's not good to customers and then , after they get your money you're stuck. Please stop betraying that you are the best furniture company in the world you're not . I will do my business with Nebraska Furniture Store from now on please stand behind your word Ashley Furniture and fix this minor problem and prove me wrong. Yes the personnel was wonderful at the time of purchase and delivery

What a Nightmare!

"My husband and I recently purchased $8,000 worth of furniture from Ashley Furniture. Picking out pieces with the Sales team was actually fun and enjoyable. First delivery was scheduled for three weeks out which was longer then we had hoped but we we're still excited about finally having nice new furniture. The day of delivery 10 of our 13 pieces arrived damaged and we were told it would be another 3 weeks for replacements. Not to mention the delivery team broke a wooden banister, dented walls and left boxes and pieces of styrofoam all in our home, driveway, neighbors yard on either side and down the street. We we're mortified!! It took 4 of us about an hour just to clean up the outside. We went to the Mooresville store where we originally purchased our furniture with the intent to just completely cancel the order and have them pick up their furniture and be done with it. The Manager begged us to give her another shot at making it right and swore this was not the way the did things. She gave us a 10% discount of the entire order and allowed me to up grade my daughter's footboard and purchase a book shelf at half price. Against my better judgement I agreed believing they would really get things right. Needless to say I made the WRONG decision to continue to do business with them. Today was the delivery day and AGAIN 7 of the items showed up damaged again one so bad that the delivery man did not even bother taking it off the truck not to mention only half my couch showed up and I still have to wait 2 more weeks for the rest of it. The Absolute worse part of all of this is how the customer service team had the nerve to suggest we we're simply picky difficult people and that it was just the destressed look we liked. We have photos of all the damage that clearly proves otherwise. They offered to compensate us by taking $190 dollars off and or paying someone to come repair the damaged pieces at our home. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!! We are currently waiting for a manager to call us back but we're told it may be tomorrow before we hear anything. People be warned do not waste your time and hard earned money with this company!!!!!!! You will regret it I can almost guarantee it. Worst experience ever not to mention the two full days of missed work due to the delivery taking 5 hours each time"

"My experience was Great ,Bot Manager at Temple Store along with Taylor made our shopping experience great, he knows what he is doing and work with us to help get what we wanted for our home. Asley furniture is JUNK

"I purchased a 5000.00 dollar leather power recliner 5 piece pit group 3 years ago. After 2 months Asley repaced one of the end section recliners. Before the 3 year anniversary of the purchase the 2 sections that are primarily used have sagged and we have to use a pillow to build up the sag of the filling in those sections. We now have seams that have tears. I spoke to the store manager at the Decatur Il. store and he promised somene would come out and see what they could do. Never heard from anyone and it's now been 3 months.
If your in the market for good quality furniture avoid Ashley at all cost. This is the second streak of dissapointing furniture we bought from Ashley. My advice, buy GOOD QUALITY furniture elsewhere possibly Lazy Boy or Natuzzi or buy cheap furniture at Big Lots or Menards , Atleast your getting cheap furniture "cheap" and you can buy new every couple yeas. NEVER AGAIN ASLEY!

Caveat Emptor

"Donna R. was friendly /polite and gave me a decent deal on a $900 Kitchen table. Then it all started. They delivered the kitchen table and chairs at 0900 (I work nights) even though it was scheduled for after 3 pm. Everything was brought inside and the driver said "Oh S@#t not again" He said the warehouse forgot to add the hardware. I asked what the policy was for this and he said both his crew and the Mgr. were supposed to sign off on the entire delivery and it apparently was not done. So they reschedule for two days later, then the fun starts. The technician arrives at 1000 am (I work nights) even though he was told after 3 pm walks in sets his bag down and starts looking around. I am half asleep and said whats wrong and he stated "damn bro they gave me the wrong hardware". I tell him to take it all back with him and he said he dont know if he could do that at which time I tell him I will put it on your truck myself. So they leave with my $900 purchase and I call the store Mgr. (Rashaad) who could care less and blames it all on the warehouse people. I spoke with Connor, Quincy and another Mgr at the warehouse and they blame the store. Finally they give a half fanny apology and say the table and chairs will be delivered two days later and they will waive the delivery fee. Two days later they deliver the table and when I ask the Phi Beta Kappas where my chairs are located they say we were told to bring you a table. No I lose my "you know what" and try to call corporate in Wisconsin but they do not take phone calls only emails, so now 4 days later and two emails in I have received no contact from anyone who cares at corporate. Finally they deliver the 4 chairs today and discount the items I purchased. Never ever use this location because their customer service stinks. All Rashaad had to do was give me a courtesy call and take the blame or blame someone else but at least solve the problem. he did not do this and pawned it off on a regular worker (No disrespect) named Sandra who was very helpful /polite & caring. *** FYI their fleet of delivery vehicles per their message while on hold are whatever left over Ryder / Uhaul or other broken down trucks they find. Not one truck was clean nor did it even mention Ashley Home Furniture. So you might get a good deal in the store but wait ... the fun starts afterward.

Unreliable! chronic rescheduler! What kind of company is this?!

"I went to Ashley for bedroom and living room sets in 8/2018. The bedroom furniture was delivered damaged many weeks after repeated delivery postponements. The damaged articles were exchanged weeks later, again after a few rescheduled delivery dates. I chalked that experience up to inevitable business difficulties; so when I went to the store in September to complain about the repeated rescheduling, I ordered a living room set. The manager discounted it for my trouble with the bedroom set. The living room set was supposed to be delivered on October 13th 2018. To date, January 19, 2019, and five rescheduled delivery dates thus far, I am still awaiting delivery. These companies seem to be selling products that have not yet been manufactured, to eliminate the cost of warehousing. How could Ashley sell products they don't have, yet take payment for them? Ashley should take payment when the product is shipped! They float millions of our dollars for months, gain interest, and provide us no value for our monies, while the funds are not in our accounts making the interest; In effect loans! Is this an evolutionary consequence of capitalism, company greed, deregulation, or customer service degradation? Whatever it is, where is our government and law makers? Consumers need to begin fighting back with their spending practices. In contrast, Wayfair sells nothing they cannot readily provide, deliver in a few days, and do not charge until products are shipped. Perhaps you need to rethink shopping at Ashley furniture store."
