"Salespeople are obviously there for the sale. I waited 25 years for new furniture and wish I would have bought elsewhere. Don't depend on what the salesperson tells you. Read and reread the return/ exchange policy. Don't by a mattress from there unless you know for sure you won't need to exchange it. They required me to buy a mattress cover for 90.00 in order to be able to exchange if I need to. My husband has major back issues . After 2 nights of sleeping on it he is miserable and hurts more than before. All we wanted was to exchange the firm to plush. I phoned the salesperson about the issue but was blown off . So I went back into the Owasso store and spoke with the manager and he said it will cost you 199.00 because we can't resell them and gave me a phone number to call to start the PROCESS ! I was so excited to finally be able to shop at our Owasso Ashley home store. I had been in prior just browsing in the past few years and loved what I saw. I also need a mattress for my guest bedroom but I won't be buying it near. READ READ before buying ."
"In the past few years, Ive purchased funiture online from several companies. Ashley Furniture is the ONLY one that is so horrible, I felt the need to post online and warn others. Do NOT order their furniture online!!! Customer Service will NOT help you if you have any issues. Also, bring on hold for over 30 minutes wasn't fun. But being berated by some guy with a snotty attitude for "calling the wrong number" was infuriating. Seriously?!? You list a number for people to call, then waste their time, and then scoff, make excuses, and then when I suggest printing the correct number for any future customers who need assistance, he said, "Listen Ma'am, I think we're done here. I gave you the correct number. I could be helping people right now, but instead I'm talking to you." Not only do I hope that little **** is fired, I hope people read this and shop from Wayfair, Kohl's, Target, JC Penney, or Amazon instead! My experiences with them have been awesome and the furniture is better quality! "
"I bought a sofa, loveseat, three tables and bought the additional warranty.
I have had the furniture less than one year and have had three service calls already. The pieces keep falling off the sofa (it reclines) and love seat. The tables' finish is evidently water soluble. Trying to call the store to get some help is useless. After telling me all she could do is provide me with the phone number to the warranty company, she then told me she had no way of contacting the company. REALLY??? The phone number you were about to give me can't be reached by the phone you are on??? I truly hate stupid people. I then stayed on hold for 10 minutes trying to reach customer service.
Furniture is poorly manufactured, employees are helpless.
Spend a little more and buy a La-Z-Boy. Huge mistake for me!!! "

"I purchased a $4000 leather sectional two and a half years ago. After a year the leather started to peel and fade. After continuous negotiations with Ashely Customer Service and Montage, their protection Assurance Company (which I spent another $600 for) the couch was replaced. Now a year and a half later the new couch has faded again. I previously bought a pleather couch at Bob’s Dicsount Furniture for half the money that was better quality than this couch. I will never purchase another piece of furniture from Ashley HomeStore. The quality and customer service is atrocious. "

"We ordered a recliner for our nursery and two accent chairs 3/17. Our salesman said he would call by 3/20 with a delivery estimate. Never heard from him, so I called on 3/26, the customer service rep told me they would be in on 3/29. Awesome. Never hear anything on 3/29, call, now my stuff won’t be in until mid May. They apparently don’t give their salespeople access to see if something is on backorder, I would not have ordered these had I known they wouldn’t be available for 6 weeks. I really wanted to sleep in my recliner for the last month of my pregnancy, but no. Even though the online warehouse has the recliner in stock. "
"We purchased a sectional Living room set July 2017, by Nov the cushions were wearing horribly. I notified them and was told they will order a new cushion. I asked was this normal, I was told yes, it just simple wear and tear. The technician came and and said that it was not normal for the cushion to wear that fast and that he would not replace it and will notify the store Manager. Well needless to say he did no such thing. I notified the store again and was told that all they could do for me was replace the cushion. I told them, that I was not happy with there recommendations and can we come up with another solution. I still have this cheap furniture and no was has called me to resolve the issue. Please don't by from Ashley Furniture no matter how good their sale pitch is, they DO NOT stand behind the products they are selling. I wish I would have did research on them before I purchased from them."
"I bought a rug last week at the Ashley store in Glendale, Az. It was supposed to be delivered in 2 days. Because we were leaving town I asked a neighbor to watch for it. When still not delivered 5 days later, I called the store. After 20 minutes of hearing how important I was to them and never getting off hold , I gave up. Still no rug. Rotten customer service!"
" did not get a call as I was told prior to my delivery date. I had to call CS was told I was pushed back another week for delivery. I asked why wasn't I contacted CSR said they called with no answer... I had no messages or missed calls from Ashely... CSR said she didn't know why a message wasn't left you have to call to leave a message. Now I'm told delivery will happen on the 29th (after seeing reviews I'm very concern) I'm now another week sleeping in the floor this is completely horrible... I opened up credit with Ashely but will NEVER shop with them again due to poor customer communication and service.."
" There are so many issues with the store in the Louisville Kentucky I can’t even tell you. Customer service from start to finish is horrible. They delivered to me four times the wrong things. I had to be home each time and wait. You can never get a sales person to help you out with issues they just tell you to call the customer service number and deal with it on your own. They keep making mistakes time and time again! The nightstand does not even match the dresser and chest and other nightstand! The furniture is very inconsistent in color and they have delivered numerous times damaged furniture so once again I have to sit home and wait and call their customer service number, and be put on hold, and be told lie after lie! Awful awful awful awful we ordered thousands of dollars worth of furniture you would think we would get a little better service. Started from the sales person, to sales manager of the store, customer service, delivery company ect... I’ve had it with their attitude and stupid policies!!!"

"We had purchased $3900 of furniture and was told it was going to take 1-2 weeks to be delivered. After 1 week I contacted them and was informed it wouldn’t be delivered for another 5 weeks. I will be out of town at that time and would have never purchased it if i thought it would take that long. The next customer service representative I spoke to said that I had been issued a refund and it would take 48 hours to process. 5 days later the manager called me and informed me that’s not their policy and they would be keeping my money. Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Nobody I have spoke to in that store has displayed even an ounce of integrity. What we were told and what they had in “fine print” differed dramically."

"Around the holidays I was looking to buy living room furniture. I went to the Nanuet NY store and was treated well they showed me different styles of furniture and I picked a set that I liked. I was told that I would receive the coffee tables and lamps with my package so went on an ordered an additional piece that I was going to put my tv on. on the day of delivery I got no coffee tables set or lamps, the tv stand was scratched so I sent that back. I decided to go to the store to see why I didn't receive the tables and lamps and that's when everything changed. I was told that it was not included in my package. I told them that was not true and they all tried to put it on me I know what was told to me. I asked for them to come back and get the furniture because it was not what I was told I was getting and they refused to come get saying I signed a contract and that what get. I tried calling corporate and I got the same response. it saddens me that this company used tricks to get a purtus and dose not honor what is said in the store. For anyone reading this rewiew please be sure when you purchase anything from ashley furniture make sure eveything is on the contract because ashley furnature will not take it back. "
