"Ashley ran a "sale" on this piece in December. It was listed on sale at roughly $900. They then tacked on $250 to ship it to me. I live in Hawaii and there is an Ashley store here, but they said it could only be ordered online from Ashley. So with tax, it came to almost $1300. It arrived in a box that looked like it got dragged behind a truck, with broken pieces and smelling of gasoline--it literally smelled like it had been doused in gasoline. I had to repair the broken pieces myself before I could put the whole thing together. I didn't want to pay another $250 to ship this pile of crap back to Ashley, so I dealt with it. I noticed the name of the manufacturer and decided to look them up online. The first "hit" that the search turned up was their company page on Amazon where they were selling the same exact piece for $319+$28 shipping. That's right.The total retail price from the manufacturer was roughly $350--including shipping to Hawaii. Not only did Ashley have the balls to charge triple what the manufacturer was charging, they decided they might as well be pigs at the trough and make it FOUR TIMES the actual retail by charging almost TEN TIMES what the manufacturer charges for shipping. And then I had to fix it because they couldn't be bothered to ship it securely. I'm done with Ashley. I've ordered several pieces from them over the last 6 months but no more. You've lost my business forever. "

Worst experience, I have been a loyal customer for 18 years and this time let me lay it out. Warranty took months to say it’s not available to fix my couches so I started by ordering another couch. The lady never ordered it. So no phone system left me having to go back to the store 9 times in person throughout 18 months. I replaced ordered and asked that’s a brown set right? Yes ma’am, they came in grey 8 months later. Come to find out couches never came in brown. So anther set was bought with manager Chris Espinoza at Pat Booker Schertz location. They took another 8 months to come in and Chris no longer would respond to my emails this set was attempted to be delivered 3 times damaged. I excepted the forth delivery and the recliner was damaged. Since Chris Espinoza wouldn’t do his job I had to go again in person to the store. Guess what couches were no longer available. They wanted me to pick another set and start over again. The furniture is junk, manager is horrible and no one knows what they’re doing. Billing was incorrect with manager and I had to go fix that as well. After all that I had to glue damage because I couldn’t handle any more. "
"Ordered online knowing it was a back ordered item. Received an email about my phone number not being a working number. I got in contact and they wanted to schedule the delivery. I figured it came in early cool. Got a phone call that morning telling me they'd be there in half an hour. Waited the full 3 hour window and no one showed so I called. I was told they had left a note on the account "item not in warehouse" . Really. Not even a phone call about it, I had to call them. Then when I tried to get ahold of a manager to discuss it they never come on the phone or call me back! Now they keep texting my number numerous times trying to get me to set up a delivery of an item they don't have in stock. I canceled my order.. Not worth the hassle. Avoid!"
"This review is for Ashley Furniture located in Louisville KY. Bought sectional with 3 recliners, kitchen table. Took 3 months to get to start then when I did receive it was defective. Called store and said tech would be out and never showed and never called. So when I called back they said that's not how it's done, they must order parts then I should call back to sit up time for tech so I did they gave me a day and said someone will call me with a more exact time and never did so I called back and they said tech wasn't coming today (after I took off work), and someone would call me Monday or Tuesday (when they was suppose to be here the previous Thursday). I can go on and on but I think you get the picture, poor quality and one lie after another from the word go. This is the first time I have used Ashley Furniture and it will be the last. Not far from calling an attorney at this point. All I ask is don't lie to me time and time again. No customer service what so ever. Buyer beware! Would give them 0 stars but not an option."

"Buyer BEWARE!!!! I have no idea how Ashley Furniture is still in business. Bought a desk and they may us drive 1/2 way across Houston to be told, "The is no desk here". Went back to the store and we let them convince us they would deliver for free. Well Well WELL!!!, After blowing op our phone for 3 hours with automated calls to confirm the date and time of delivery, AND waiting for them ALL SATURDAY, and Customer Service said it won't be in until the 18th. The Store is clueless as to why id didn't deliver. I can't believe they are able to keep the lights on much less stay in business. This is the poorest business IO have ever experienced. Elementary kids could do a better job of running this business!!! "

"On Sept. 11 My wife and I bought a Split King Luxe Breeze Mattress with the Ergo Extend Smart Bases with Sleep Tracking for 13,831.66 from Ashley Furniture in Jackson TN. From Tempur-Pedic you get White glove home delivery on our invoice it said we would get just that.
Plus Ashley charged us 99.99 for delivery. When it was delivery the guys had no Idea how to set it up. After two weeks talking to Jackson store manager they sent two more guy to our house to bring 1 of 3 parts that was missing but still had no Idea how to setup the bed. I spent hours on the phone with customer service with no luck getting anything done. I was told to call Tempur-Pedic for help setting it up myself. I ask for a refund was told they did not give refunds. I now waiting on Tempur-Pedic to send someone. Great Bed and Mattress but do not buy from Ashley."

It is good for 5 years after which time if you do not use it you will receive a credit for the amount paid only to be told you have to spend an additional $500 or more to use your credit. So Ashley Furniture kept my $129 for 5 years and wants me to spend more $$$ in order to use my credit? Not worth it. Will never shop at this store again!"
"Ashley Furniture has terrible customer service. Purchased a dining room table and chairs, when furniture was delivered they had sent the wrong hardware to install table legs. I let the customer rep convince me that it would be faster to keep the table and let them send correct hardware and have their tech come out and install. It took approximately 7 days to receive the hardware and then another 10 days to for the tech to come out to install. Once the table was set upright, there was damage to the top and corner of the table. 2 weeks later I cannot get the issue resolved, when I finally told the customer service rep that I would just return the set, I was told I can only return if I notify them of damages within 72 hours of delivery. Forget that the delivery guys left the table in the middle of the floor where damages were not visible. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE anywhere."
"Honestly I wouldn’t even give them a star, we ordered our couch in June. They told us 4-8 weeks which is fine, if that would be true. Then they told us august 5 and guess what…nobody even called or messaged us till we called them and asked where the couch was. Then they escalated it to the manager and gave us new dates, that they missed again. After that they called us and said September 9th. We already planned a vacation on that day so we gave them number of our friend who will be at our place waiting for the couch. The day comes they never called our friend to deliver the couch. Now all of the sudden the couch is gone and they have to make a new one. They are throwing us different dates and talking about November, then December and it keeps changing. Please think twice before ordering from them. We might need to take them to court. It’s been 4 months and we still sit on the floor."

Ordered furniture online that took 5 months to arrive and when it did arrive they only had half of my sectional and had no idea when the other half would come in and one of the dressers was broke. Costumer service hung up on me 3 times and I was given the run around only for them to tell me it was non refundable. I am very UNHAPPY with this store. Couch failed from 1st day. Seems Ripped. Under chaise cushion, base collapsed. So exhausted of dealing w/ Connecticut ownership & local warehouse. I'm 3 months in w/ no repair. And very little follow up & simple confusion. If you choose to buy anything from them,,, please purchase extended warranty. Don't waiver on the cost of the $$. You may need it. And please read it in full & ask as many questions u need to. I can't stress this enough. If you have any issues, for me at least, left so disappointed & and lost. Just don't buy from them. "
"Buyers beware. We’d like to give a zero rating ! We purchased a sectional from Ashley and bought a 5 year service contract. Within a three year period we called to report that the couch did not wear well. We have no children or animals. The entire couch frayed. It was a beige linen
Type fabric. Customer service would not file a claim because of this. However if we lied or spilled wine over the entire couch maybe we’d be protected. Really?!
Ashley uses inferior products. Do yourself a huge favor: save your money and go to another store that stands behind their products and isn’t looking to rip off the little guy! We are truly disgusted ! "
"My girlfriend and I placed a pretty hefty order over the phone back in June. We spoke to Gwendolyn on the phone who promised our furniture will be delivered August 1. August comes around no phone call from Ashley. We decided to call Gwendolyn and she tells us the furniture will be delivered in a couple weeks. A couple weeks go by and what do you know-- no furniture. So we call Gwendolyn again who states itll be delivered in yet a couple weeks to a month. Obviously annoyed and losing are trust in this Gwendolyn agent we let it slide one more time and wait. The next expected date comes around and, yep you guessed it, no furniture. We try to call gwendolyn to cancel the furniture and she doesnt pick up her phone. However, she replied via email probably because she knew she was lying to us this whole entire time. She then stated in the email the furniture wont be delivered until DECEMBER!!!! So terribly upset with ASHLEY FURNITURE and their poor lying and scheming customer service. Why not be truthful GWENDOLYN???? NEVER EVER will shop here again. BUYERS BEWARE. They will lie to you and tell you what you want to hear but then youll never receive the furniture. I highly doubt the furniture will even be delivered in December. What a joke this company and their sales agents are. "
