"I purchased a couch from Ashley’s and I waited for over two months. They never contacted me at all during the process just let me know ANYTHING. Eventually I just ended up cancelling altogether. Ordered a couch from big lots and got it the next day. Ashley’s is annoying. If you don’t mind waiting three months for a couch you pay for immediately then this is the place for you. Smh"
"I used to think of Ashley Furniture as being cheap furniture, but when we looked around and found amazing pieces and even bought a sofa and a chair. Our helper, Jenny, was attentive without being overbearing. We were very pleased with our purchase….that was the beginning of April of 2021. It was halfway through July when our couch was delivered. It’s August now and we still don’t have an arm to our chair. It was supposed to be delivered today, but somehow didn’t make the truck and no one updated us until after it was supposed to be delivered. Arm ETA is September.
Then there was the assembly of the couch. They didn’t do it. The couch pieces were pushed together so we didn’t notice right away that they weren’t secured until my toddler fell between them and almost broke her leg! Not being hyperbolic, this was serious and could have been worse if we were parents who weren’t within arms reach and it had been her head. We told customer service and NOTHING. So now we have unsafe, unassembled, furniture. Maybe in September (only 6 months late) we’ll be able to spend time in our living room."
"Reasonable quality products and terrible customer service. One sofa has been delayed at least 2 months from their estimate (obviously COVID-19 is to blame and the delay keeps getting extended). A love seat arrived damaged and Ashley Furniture promised to repair it. Then, they outsourced the repair to 2 different companies, neither of which do they have control over and neither of which they claim to be able to contact except via email. We have wasted 3 separate half days waiting on repair people to arrive. They have our money and we have one damaged piece out of 2 we purchased. We will be shopping elsewhere in future."
"Said they were delivering three different times and have yet to get all my furniture. Nobody returns phone calls. Get a different story from store than delivery service. Delivery guys were like two bulls in a China shop. Put a gouge in my freshly painted walls and then tried to leave without saying anything about it. Have yet to get my furniture or get a return phone call like I’ve been promised at least 5 times"
"I recently purchased a home which should be one of biggest accomplishments but no thanks to this disaster of a company it didn’t go well. I ordered a bedroom set and started to notice a build up of dust coming from the leg of the furniture. I immediately thought termites and called pest control and terminix and after their assessment I was told the house is free of any pest and the furniture had bugs inside called Powderpost beetles. These beetles are transported through lumber and enter your home through lumber or manufactured articles eg furniture, cabinetry, or flooring. I had ZERO!!!! signs of any bugs until the arrival of the furniture. I called corporate, customer service, and the store I ordered it from and was told they can’t do anything about it that’s not their problem . This place needs to go out of business. They literally have the worst rating for a reason."

"I placed an order on 6/30/2021 with Ashley Furniture online. Never again! The customer service is horrible and you will get a run around and no communication. I was told when I placed the order that it would be delivered on 7/21/2021. I verified a week before to be sure so I can take off work. The female I spoke with stated the same and said I would receive a call. Well here I am no call and no email waiting, so I call again. Now I am told by a male it is now scheduled for 8/9/2021! This is unprofessional, rude and not a way to do business. Needless to say I will be out looking to find new end tables today. I refuse to give business to an untrustworthy company. "
"Purchased a desk with a cooling cup holder by design your computer tower is directly under the cooling cup holder guess what happens with condensation… goes right into your tower 500 dollar desk over 3000 damage to personal property think these clowns care nope they have the audacity to ask you to donate the defective property to a thrift store and get a receipt so someone else gets defective goods as well"

Then last item was promised a week later / called and was told not in yet. Got a call when in and was told they would deliver during the week, said I couldn’t do weekdays - scheduled a sat in a month and received an auto delivery notice it was coming on a day during the week - I called to complain they said they would charge me a restocking fee / told them to listen to the tapes of the conversation / no restocking fee - scheduled yesterday (sat) - they called in the morning to say “truck broke down” and I was told coming today - called around 11 and told me the truck still broke but they would come wed - again told them I can’t do week days and was told sorry - they can’t bring wed cuz can’t guarantee a later delivery - I guess it’s my job to accommodate THEIR schedule . Called the store - manager Chris said I
Was wrong they do not deliver on Sunday’s / I told him who told me Sunday was the day and listen to the conversation . Again assured me they do not do deliveries on Sunday… ( like I was lying) - so he called back to tell me that he did hear the tape and I was told incorrect info. I have spent my weekend waiting for Ashley furniture and they are making NO EFFORT to accommodate my needs. What happened to working a little extra and helping your customers? Worst service ever"
"Be careful because they lie about delivery dates and they continue to lie about a purchase we made May 29 and still waiting on delivery. Lied to the BBB saying order would be delivered on July 17 which is today. Big joke yesterday they called wanting to deliver one of the three items they owe us. Not a trustworthy company"
"We ordered 14 pieces of furnitures from Ashley, 4 of those are damaged, including 3 chairs and one bed. The chairs are malfunctioning, like legs bending forward, missing holes on the wood for us to put nails in, cracked surface, etc. And even though we placed our order 5 months ago, we're still waiting for 3 pieces of furnitures with no estimated delivery date yet.
The delivery team is not professional. They refused to take off shoes or put on the shoe cover that we provided. Our house is a newly built costum house that is less than a month old. All the carpets in the house are white and clean, and yet the delivery team just stepped on them and left footprints all over the house because they don't want to take off their shoes. Also, they dragged the furnitures of the floor, leaving scratches on the wooden floor and black marks on the white wall.
The costumer service is just impolite and rude."
