So far they have had every excuse not to honor the warranty on a Sealy bed we paid over $2900 for mattress and frame you have to purchase so warranty is honored for 10 years too. "I ordered bedroom furniture almost 2 months ago. Noone has ever called me about the delivery status. I've had to call to get updates on my own. I managed to get them to deliver some of the furniture they had, in which one of the items arrived damaged. Two weeks later, the damaged item is still not fix and no one has ever called. I still don't have have all of my items and they have no idea on when it will arrive. Don't waste your time, unless you want the run around. "
"I have been waiting over 4 1/2 months for my couch that was suppose to be delivered today. I called yesterday as absolutely no one reached out to me to confirm a time. This would have been the third time I called and was told the delivery was delayed.
I called customer service for the delivery department to confirm and was connected to a nightmare of a rep named Arman (if he even gave me his real name). He told me the delivery wasn’t happening as they don’t even have it in stock. Have been given a million different excuses each time I call.
They gladly took my money but as far as updating me or even notifying me of possible delays they couldn’t be bothered.
The rep I spoke to on the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE. My jaw was on the floor listening to the attitude I received from ‘customer service’. He yelled over top of me asking questions like I was being an inconvenience to ask for a details of a purchase that cost me thousands of dollars. Laughed at me and told me to ‘think practically’ after I explained I have been waiting a month and a half over what I was told would be the max wait time when I purchased.
I had enough of being yelled at and asked to speak to a manager. He laughed in the phone and yelled BYE and hung up the phone on me. I in no way raised my voice to this man I simply wanted clarity on where the heck my furniture was. When I called back he answered listened to my say ‘hello?’ And hung up again. I called again because at this point I was infuriated. He finally answered and said ‘what do you want?’ I asked to speak to a manager and he said ‘he’s not allowed to connect me and said everything he needed to say.’ Hung up again.
So pretty much after making a huge purchase you are left waiting forever and if you do dare to call for an update after MONTHS you’re belittled and yelled at and hung up on. Zero accountability. Roses and sunshine until you pay then they can do and say whatever the want and you’re stuck with it until they prioritize your delivery. Oh and want to cancel? 10% for administration fees!
What a joke never again. Thanks Ashley you’ve lost a loyal customer. "

"On 4/1/21 my wife and I ordered two dining sets from Ashley HomeStore, located at 4597 Southwest Dr, in Abilene, TX. Initially we were told that the delivery will be in 2-3 weeks. After waiting this time we talked to them then they said that it will take 4-5 weeks - they delivered partial order. The one piece which is a large table, has not been delivered. And its now 4 months since the order. Every time we visit the store the employees at the store don't even put attention to customers who are coming to ask about service on an order. Every time we called the store is a waste of time, no one answers, the situation is worst when you call the "service department". You'll be put on hold for a long time, then they hung up. Needless to say, customer service is horrible. Next week will be FOUR MONTHS of waiting for our furniture which we paid back in April. Several people from Ashley called but have not solve the problem."
"We purchaded 3 leather power recliner sofas 2.5 years ago. We also purchased extended warranty. The sofas are ready for being trashed. The "leather" is cracking, totally peeling and destroyed. I reach out for extended warranty, a technician is sent and he says the policy does not cover the issue as it's a manufacturing defect. I go to Ashley and they say, they can't do anything as their "warranty" is only for one year. I go to consumer affairs and they say that they only provide coverage/support in the first year. Net, I have $3,000 going to the trash. Don't trust the extended warranty as the fine print covers exceptions for things that are likely to happen (leather quality is an example). Their service is terrible, the quality of the leather can't be worse. I am very frustrated and WILL NEVER buy again from Ashley. Stay away from them if you expect to buy quality and lasting furniture."
"We purchased furniture February 2020. On February 8, 2021 reached out to Ashley furniture, Jefferson Blvd.location in Louisville, KY. Today is August 16, 2021 and still have furniture that was within 1 year warranty. They let it go until it was under warranty that we purchased. I have 3 pieces of furniture that broke within 1 year of purchase and 2 pieces that have broken for second time at the same place. Have been given lies for months . I wrote negative complaint in May and they reached out to me only because of that complaint. Now August 16 and still have broken furniture. They want to deliver what they have but die lot I want to make sure ok. They have told me all different dates of all pieces being delivered and then when they come only one piece and wrong color. For weeks I have been told two pieces in stock. But when delivery company comes even though they were told not to come they did 3 times and only came with one piece that I refused.
Nothing anyone says has been true. Delivery company come with one piece. I am just furious. When I get an excuse it is always covid. In May was told all three pieces would be here in July. Not. Then August, today maybe August 27 they may have a date. Living with 3 pieces of broken furniture for over 6 months is absolutely ridiculous. I have asked to select something in stock they said no. I asked for refund they said no. I guess customers of 35 plus years do not matter. Customers that were military. No, no one matters. Will never purchase from Ashley Furniture again or an Ashley brand.

" I ordered a bedroom set from Stockton, CA Ashley Furniture since May. First,It was set for delivery first week of August, then it got re-scheduled August 12. They confirmed the delivery by texting/calling. I cancelled all my appointments that day, hoping that the furniture will be delivered. Then I got a call saying the delivery got moved again to August 16, confirmed the delivery via text, call, e-mail. Now, i called customer service and found out that there’s no delivery scheduled today! After I cancelled all my appointments (again!)… ASHLEY FURNITURE, THE WORST SERVICE EVER! "After buying our Lounge and Arm Chairs and waiting 4 months we received our Furniture.
On installation found 1 arm chair arm lose and wobbling approx 1" each way. We also noticed our 3.5 seater lounge squeaking when sitting on it.
I called the store and advised we have 12 months warranty so see if the sqeak goes and if not report both and we will put the claim in.
After a couple of months the sound got worse so reported both issues.
After 12 emails and the furniture technician sending his report all communication stopped.
after many phone calls to store and "emails and calls to the product care insurance Team, Yes they do not do their warranty the out source it"we have had no phone calls emails or any correspondence from anyone at all. This whole process has been an absolute nightmare and will never ever deal with Johnnys Furniture Group Again as This is the group who own Ashleys.
It is now in the hands of fair trading."
"I ordered a living room set expecting it to come in at the time the store told me it would which is 4-6 weeks. That was actually 4-6 MONTHS. Finally when they come in I have them delivered to my house. The delivery crew that showed up at first tried saying they wouldn’t fit (it did) they also didn’t realize I understood Spanish and they were taking bad about me the whole time, one actually CALLED ME A PUTA. will never come here again and will be contacting higher management about the situation "
"My wife and I went to this store and paid cash for a very expensive sectional couch and ottoman. They said they couldn't deliver it for 2 weeks and we were okay with this understanding there are supply chain issues currently. Well, two weeks came and they delivered the couch minus the ottoman. Obviously we were pretty upset about this as we paid in full and were awaiting the product we paid for. After many calls and not being able to get anybody on the phone to discuss where our product was we finally got someone on the phone. After expressing our frustration and being told several different stories such as the ottomans on backorder until November which was never told to us they said oh you paid in full we can have it there in 2 more weeks. This pretty much showed their dishonesty and frustrated us more. We explained to them we don't want to wait another two weeks as they told us the ottoman was in Dallas at the distribution center 45 minutes from us. This has been the worst experience we've ever had buying furniture. They are dishonest and try to spin their mess up in every direction they can. They lack in customer service and accountability. Honesty and providing the service promised goes a long way. We will certainly not be purchasing from Ashley's again and will share our experience on every platform available to us as well as file a complaint with the BBB and Texas AGs office. Buyers beware!!!!!! Don't make the mistake we made by trusting this company. You will be disappointed."
"Went shopping for something for my den. Had no real idea of what I was looking for. The sales lady Jacqueline Mille spent a good amount of time showing me around the full store and putting pecies together for me. After all her hard work I was able to see what my den would look like. "Daughter bought a home and needed living room couch we decided to buy a new one and give her our existing couch and love seat. Shopped around and chose Ashley in Greenwood IN, picked out what looked like a good fit for us. Salesperson was knowledgeable price was a little high, even purchased all the perks 5 year warranty, delivery and set up, cloth protection, salesperson tells us 2-4 weeks out.
After several calls inquiring about shipment dates it continued being pushed back time after time it was 90 days before we received a partial delivery 4 of 6 items with one chase recliner having it's arm rest on wrong side, replacement has been ordered. 4 Weeks later 8/5 we received the 2nd recliner of 2 ordered it was damaged a major structural board fell out under chair. Had to send pictures of damage, called to confirm email was received and was told they could not open attachment pictures said they were to large I had feeling like I'm being told this because were older, had to walk them through reducing size in views on the PC. Today I get an email from them telling me my warranty has expired because it was purchased on March 31 of 2016 WTF. So we did a closer inspection on what has been delivered and found 2 more pieces are damaged one a critical structural board broken in half and one with a 6” cut on back side, these damages were not noticed because delivery people assembled them and pushed them back to the wall.
Now we have 4 of 6 items that need replaced spoke with the manager who was so sorry but will order full replacement of all items promising a delivery in 10 days. After all the missed deadlines and the hassles this has caused I just told them to come and get it out of my house we don't feel like waiting for another 4 months without living a room set it's back to shopping. My review is minus 5stars. "
