"HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. Its been 2 weeks and my order still has not shipped. I called 3 times and got a rude response saying "oh yeah it'll probably ship tomorrow if it hasnt' today". The fourth time I called I got hung up on. The fifth time I called and asked to speak to a manager and got transferred to customer service voicemail. I tried to cancel my order but they are now either hanging up on me or saying they can't do so.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

"I placed my order on May 7th and it took them 8 business days to ship out the order! That is pathetic. I told the representative that my grandmother could move faster than them. He replied by saying "good for you" and hung up. I called back and reached another representative and asked them whats up with my order. He replied by saying "its in processing ser". I told the rep that I want to cancel my order since it hasn't even shipped yet. They would not cancel my order and it finanally shipped a few days later and arived on 5/21/2007. What gets me is that they have the nerve to email me with a tracking number two days after I already recieved the shipment!! This tracking number is usefull before the order arives, but it is useless if I already have the order. After looking at a local Autozone parts store in the city where I live, I noticed that the amount of money that you save from autopartsgiant is minimal. This place is not worth the wait and the hassle to save a couple of dollars. I would recommend to avoid this place alltogether."

"Worst Customer service I have ever Experienced. Customer support is Rude and matter of fact... Does not care if you order again or not. I ordered a psrt on 5/4/2007 and finally received notice that it has shipped on 5/17/2007... I called again today to see if I could get a Tracking number and was told didn't have one and when i asked what was taking so long the guy just exploded with me... Said..It's Shipped what else do you want" I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said he wasn't there... Gee you think so! I was expecting this... Worst experience I'v ever had ordering on the WEB... Buyer Be Ware.... Haven't received the part yest and after reading the other comments... can't wait to see what I actually get if it ever arrives... Car has been down for two weeks now... Want buy here again!"

"I placed an order online with www.autopartsgiant.com and provided confirmation number 1926368, on Saturday April 28th, 2007, totaling over $200. At which time I selected the Free US Ground shipping being told I’d receive it in 3-8 working days, which if they included Saturdays since they are open, and mail runs that day, at the latest it would be here on Monday May 7th. I was told that I’d receive an email when the parts shipped, that would include a tracking number as well.

On Tuesday, May 1st, I called to inquire about the order, just to make sure nothing was on back order etc and was placed on hold, and within a few seconds I was disconnected. I called back right away, and as soon as the phone was picked up, I was hung up on. This happened a total of 6 times before someone finally got on the phone and stayed on the phone. When I finally got someone on the phone I was told that no, it had not shipped yet, that it was sent to warehouse and should ship by Wednesday.

On Saturday, May 5th I call and am told that it shipped out on Friday (May 4th) via UPS Ground, they couldn’t provide me with a tracking number yet, that there systems update at night. He said I should receive an email that night with the information, if not, to call back Monday morning and ask for it. So I call back Monday morning (May 7th) around 12:50 there time, and am told that the systems don’t update until 1pm; to call back in 10 minutes. SO I call back in 10 minutes to be told that yes it shipped on Friday the 4th, but that it can take their system 5 days to receive a tracking number. I said “So it’s likely I’ll receive the item before I get a tracking number?” To which he responded, “Yes that happens often.” As of Tuesday May 8th, I hadn’t received the items yet. I logged on to UPS.com and using there zip code in there contact info, I pretended to be shipping packages from there zip code to my zip code, using the weight they provided on my statement, and for US Ground shipping, IF shipped on Friday it should have been at my residence on Wednesday May 9th. So giving them the benefit of doubt, I put in Monday May 7th as the actual shipping date, just incase it didn’t physically leave there office until that day, and it shows I should have it no later then Thursday May 10th.

On Monday May 14th, 2007 I call to check the status only to find out that it did NOT ship on the 4th as previously told NUMEROUS times. He tells me that it’s processing at the warehouse and should be shipped by Wednesday May 16th.

Today, Thursday May 17, 2007 I call and twice someone answered the phone and the minute I say “Hi, I’m calling to check the status on an order I placed 3 wks ago”, I got hung up on. FINALLY on the 3rd attempt I get a VERY RUDE customer service guy on the phone. He just says Nope, hasn’t shipped yet. When I asked why not, he just simply said “It’s still processing” It’s been processing for almost a month??? He says I can’t tell you why. I said there HAS to be some way to find out WHY it’s still processing. He says “the only way I can do that is if I submit a request to the warehouse and they won’t get it until tomorrow (Friday) so you’ll have an answer on Monday.” I said how can I find out what the answer is, he expressed it would be emailed to me, I said I’d emailed them several times to no avail. He said, “The only way I can find out is if I submit a request and right now you’re wasting my time on the phone, I can’t do it while on the phone so would you like me to do my job.” Needless to say this left me livid. So if the jerk gave me the right information his name is Seymore and his extension is 205! These people have VERY bad customer service, and don’t care about taking care of anyone. They repeatedly hang up on you, lie to you, and just have rude behavior. I wish I had found out all of this information before submitting my order. I live 40 miles away from my office and my husband and I have been sharing 1 car for over a month waiting for them to get there stuff together. I’ve started the process of canceling my order, but from recent complaints found online that will be a huge struggle in itself.

"I got very unsatisfied to deal with Company – autopartsgiant.com
I made purchase - ignition coil – on 04/10/2007. There shipping policy states 3-8 days.
I called at 04/23 to Customer service. He answered that my order was sent to a wrong location and soon I would a receive letter or a phone call about its status. But no apology followed. I called again at 04/25 to find out. And I was surprised to find out that the part which I ordered was never even shipped to me from warehouse. First time they lied to me. I asked to cancel this order and send me confirmation. They answer was “No problem”. But no refund and email info
2 days later I got a letter that my order was shipped, which supposedly I canceled!
They fully neglected my requests as if I did not call or write them. Eventually after 20 days of indefinite state I got completely DIFFERENT PART that I never ordered. I called them to return it back. They are not going to refund only exchange. I sent request to BBB.
This is terrible company. Beware to deal with them.

"as stated in previos posts, the webpage for checking order status is always down for maint.i thought this odd and decided to call after placing my order. after talking to the rude rep decided to cancel my order, this was all in the same day. took over a month and many calls and e-mails to get my credit card refunded.i cannot recommend this online retailer"

"I ordered 11 items for two different cars. One of the items was not available and so they skipped it, but all the parts shipped quickly and were the correct parts which fit just fine. There was no need to for any customer service. I am disappointed with a service fee in spite of their claim of free shipping, but I still save money.

On a later date, however, I found that a "new" water pump had scratches and actual rust on it. It was a major hassle to get them to take it back and I had file a complaint with BBB online to get a refund.

I also had a problem with a belt tensioner that was clattering. At the time, they had a 1-year warranty stated on the site, but after trying to contact them for a month, they just ignored me and I had to file ANOTHER complaint with BBB online.

Shipping is much slower now since they want to encourage people to pay the extra amount for express shipping.

"One of the worst online companies to deal with. Customer service reps are rude and clueless. Took over 2 weeks to receive parts. "Charged me for a brand name part, then substituted an inferior brand (despite "policy" of replacing with equal of greater value if part out of stock). Phone conversations were only acted upon when threatening emails were sent. Partial refund granted when AMEX case opened. As yet, no full refund granted, nor has vendor sent return label to retrieve parts sent."

" Oh how i wish i would have known about ResellerRating.com before ordering from this place. Absolutly the worst service and shipping i've ever encountered online. Placed an order on 9/19/06, no confirmation for over 1 week. Made 2 phone calls got the usual BS, finally recieved email that my ordered shipped 9/28/06.Good grief 9 days just to ship.Finally arrived 10/05/06 and guess what,they used substituted parts.Oh forgot to mention the handling charges tacked on. "Their site says 8 business day delivery (ground), but what they mean, and what they will tell you if you call them as I did, is that takes these guys 8 business days just to ship the order. Prices are good but I usually can't (or don't want to) wait 3 weeks for parts."

"Usually when I order auto parts online, the parts ship out the same or next day. Well after five days of waiting, expecting it to arrive, I get a notice that it has shipped. So, I try to log onto thier website to check just when it shipped and I get "Order History & Status
This feature is currently Down for Maintenance and will be available again soon!" I continue to get this for the next week. My order finally arrives after two weeks. Now, a week later, the site still indicates "Order History & Status
This feature is currently Down for Maintenance and will be available again soon!" Won't buy from here again. Oh, yeah, they tacked on a $3.95 "handling" fee at the very end of the ordering process. Almost cancelled over that, but had invested too much time already.

"Read the fine print before you order from this vendor. They have a 20% restocking fee and a non-refundable $3.95 handling fee which they still charge you if you cancel an order. I canceled my order 5 days ago and it's status is still showing up on their website as new. "
