"I looked on the web for many reviews of web sites that sell a thinkpad r52 battery and they were all poor quoted.
Battpros was alright, there was no bad comment about it, so I decide to buy it there. The price I could see was about 67$ and I asked for the cheapest shipping way possible, wich was 8$, I gave my credit card number and sent the request.
On the next page I learned that there was a 30$ extra shipping that I had no idea about it. So they thanked me for my purchase and I discovered that I actually paid 100$ for my battery that at fisrt appeared at 60$.

I received the battery quickly, it worked fine, but I was frustrated that the website couldn t tell me how much money I would pay before I gave them my card number."

FOLLOWING THE ISSUE, 2 days later:

I first believed that this company was not pro, deaf and tried to rip off customers with bad items. But the silence from the customer service seems to be a misunderstanding, and after my 2nd email, I received 2 emails and one call back from 2 differents agents to fix this. Plus the quick answer to this review.
Still, the item has not the same specifications as the one on the website (they told me they will update it).
But overall, the company is OK, they are not thieves. (btw, they offered me a discount)...
Prices are good, so just verify the specs.

"After seeing Dell prices (robbery!) for a battery I decided to purchase from BattPros, 1/3 the cost of Dell prices. Shipping was quick, battery seems good quality, twice the running time of orginal battery but have only used for a few days..time will tell. The only thing I didn't like was I received a different battery then the one I ordered (compacity was lower) called customer service and was told the manufacture no longer carries the higher capacity battery. They should update their website so you know what your getting before ordering. Not a big problem and would order again. I would recommend.

"I bought a battery for my Dell Inspiron laptop from Batt Pros 2 weeks ago. It took 5 working days for the shipping which was quite good for the regular ground shipping option. But the battery I recieved was not the one I ordered (I ordered the 7200 mAh and got the 6600 mAh ... I did not have to look very hard it's written in large font on the front of the battery) I tried calling at various times of the day with no success. So I filled their returns & exchange online form last week, but have not heard from them either (they claim that they answer all requests within 48 hours).
So if you're looking at getting a laptop battery that works, at a reasonable price and relatively quickly, then order from Batt Pros, but you may not get what you paid for and don't hang too much hope in their customer service and return & exchange policy.


Following my complaint on this site BattPros contacted me to explain that their supplier did not deliver the advertised battery specs. And they offered me a 20% discount to compensate, and I accepted since I did not want to go through the hassle of shipping the battery back to them, and then waiting for the refund. But I am stuck with a battery that is not as good as I wanted."
