"I am having a significant trouble with my purchase and have been unable to obtain support. Below is copied and pasted the e-mails I have sent and have yet to receive a reply. This site looks very professional but buyer beware...
"Here's the fourth attempt. I'd love to work this out without leaving your organization negative feedback, but this e-mail will be posted to resellerratings.com and any other online forum I can find if I continue to be ignored. As you will note, the first three attempts were sent to ****@****.
Please, let's work together!
I anticipate your reply.

This is my third message as the first two have received no reply. In the weeks that have passed since my first e-mail the D cells have deteriorated to the point where they will run my child's swing only for a few hours (having to charge them every other day or more). Like I said before, old alkaline batteries lasted for a month. Your lack of response as well as the batteries lack of performance is totally unacceptable. I am requesting a refund for the D cell batteries - this is my formal request for a RMA #. If you still do not reply I will leave feedback (the below e-mail if possible) at resellerratings.com - I don't know what other choice I have after spending $44.95 for something that is ineffective.
I look forward to a response.

Subject: Fw: About Your Order: 91274
Below is a copy of my order. I bought batteries for my daughter who was born exactly 2 months after I placed my order. I have noticed her swing, which uses the D cell batteries, does not last very long. The first set of batteries in the swing were alkaline (and a few years old) and lasted a month. Since then, I've been using your nimh batteries and have noticed the swing lasts less than a week. I started testing the batteries that came out when run down with a volt meter and have noted that out of the first set of 4, three batteries come out with 1.210-1.298 volts - the fourth comes out is 0.801 volts. In the second set two batteries come out with about 1.25 volts, whereas the third comes out with 0.8 and the fourth comes out completely dead.
I realize this is after the warranty period. Like I mentioned, nearly three months (the warranty period) passed before I started using the batteries regularly (I tested and charged them immediately when I received them and they all worked), and it has taken my wife and I the last month to realize there's a problem ("oh, you just charged them on Tuesday? Well I charged them last Sunday...") and for me to start testing them multiple times to make sure it's not a fluke or a bad bay in the batter charger. I'm relatively happy with the razor batteries and the phone battery pack that I ordered (they don't last as long as the originals but I get about 85% of what I should which is fine).
I'm using a radio shack smart charger that charges to resistance, not to time like the cheap Target/Wal-Mart battery chargers. I spent a lot of extra money to make sure I got good batteries and I would really appreciate it if you could exchange the three poorly performing batteries.
Thanks very much for your assistance.

"Problem free, easy transaction. Everything as described, prompt shipping and notification."
"Good prices, prompt processing. No problems with order. A good transaction."
"They have one of best prices I found on the internet. I an glad to find the Protection IC (PCB)board to keep the Poly-ion batteries safe
for my kids to use in there Xmods R/C car "
"My order was placed on Saturday, April 2nd shipped via UPS on Monday, April 4th. I tracked the order with UPS and it arrived in prefect condition and on time. UPS is slower than christmas to the east coast but that is no reflection on this company. They also have the cheapest prices on 2300 mah batteries on the net that I have seen. WOW a company that wants your buisness enough to provide good service. Other's could learn alot from them...."
"Batteryspace shipped in a timely manner, but their product is horrible! I bought the 12pk 2000mah plus travel charger on April 2004, charger works fine, but the batteries are utter crap! After six months of use & periodic charge the batteries didn't work in my digital cameras (A75, Nikon 3200) & Magic Mic anymore! The label on the battery is easy to peel off too. Please stay away from the light blue & white batteries, in fact- I would just stay away form batteryspace.com entirely. I bought Fry's 4pk 1800mah + wall charger ($7) about the same time as my battery space purhcase & it still works fine. Consider yourself warned!"
"Ordered a fast charger and a wall charger for some airsoft guns. Fast shipping (2 days) and no problems. Would definitely order from again.
*Update*
The fast charger kept blowing a fuse because apparently, a wire was incorrectly connected. I think this is a fault with manufacturer of the fast charger rather than battery space itself...lets see how the RMA process is....so far 3 emails and only 1 response..and still waiting for a response on the reply..."
"Good prices and an excellent selection. Rechargeables, phone, R/C, camera, etc. Shipping costs are reasonable but delivery took a few days longer than expected. Will do business with them again."
"Good prices, selection and delivery. I especially liked their online forums and the extensive information on different types of batteries. Will do business with again."
"Wish I was as lucky or satisfied as others posting positive comments here.
I placed my order on 10/5/2004 for 12AA 2250mAh, 12AAA 750mAh, and a charger, which included a couple free battery holders. I immediately received a confirmation email with the order number. Unfortunately, I waited until 10/21 and the package never came. So, I checked the web site and found my order was showing "Not Finalized". Mmm. I paid via PayPal!
So, I wrote back and and received another email on 10/22 saying that my order was not processed because it said "Not Finalized" and it would be shipped out immediately. Then on 11/25, got another email saying my order has been shipped out that day!
Then another two and a half weeks past, no batteries. Wrote back again on 11/13. Got response back on 11/16 saying that my order was "lost in UPS transit" and another would be shipped out via USPS and I should receive it 2-3 days.
Finally, after one and a month later, I received my order. But then the free battery boxes were really flimsy. They wouldn't close with batteries in them. I bought two for less than $1.00 during my business trip to Taiwan in September and they were twice as thick as those free ones.
This vendor seems to be a pretty legit one. So, I might give it another try in the future."
"It might seem strange that I really love this store even though they mistakenly sent me the wrong battery pack. But I'll explain:
I found their website while looking for a battery pack to power my homemade bicycle lighting system. I was impressed with the layout of the site, and more impressed when I discovered their forum, which I found to contain a wealth of information about batteries and battery packs. I was also impressed to see how their staff had responded to technical questions from customers, and after reading through several threads, all the questions I had were answered.
So, on Sunday evening 11/14/2004, I ordered a 12v 4500mAH battery pack and a "smart charger" to power my lighting system. I quickly received a confirmation e-mail. The next day I received a shipping notification, and on Tuesday the package was at my door! Wow!
But upon opening the package (which was packed very well with air bags instead of those annoying packing peanuts), I discovered that they had mistakenly given me a 24v 4000mAH battery pack instead of the one I ordered. Somewhat disappointed, I sent an e-mail to them that evening via their website, asking for an RMA#. I was fully expecting to have to send this pack back, then wait for the correct one to be shipped.
To my surprise, the next day (Wednesday) they replied with an apology and a promise to send me the correct pack immediately, including a UPS label for me to use in returning the incorrect pack. Now THAT is customer service.
Bottom line: Their service is fast and efficient, and they saved me plenty over what I would have had to pay for a commercial bike lighting battery of comparable power. And they even threw in a free lighted keychain.
They made a mistake, yes, but the courteous and efficient manner in which they handled that error left me highly impressed. I will most definitely do business with them again.
Since the correct pack has not arrived yet (they only promised to send it yesterday), I will update this review once it arrives.
UPDATE 11/29/2004 - The correct battery pack (and the shipping label) arrived on Friday 11/19 as promised. My bike light project is now complete and the battery pack is performing as promised. These guys are great!"
"The product was just as they advertised. Quick shipping."
"I just received the "24 Pcs of AA 2250mAh High Capacity NiMH Rechargeable Batteries + 6 Holders". I haven't tried the batteries yet but the holders are piece of JUNK. They are not even worth a penny. Infact they should pay the buyer for buying those Holders. I didnt expect such items from a repured dealer."
"Excellent experience with first purchase from this company (correct order handling, good product, speedy delivery) made me make a second purchase."
"I ordered many batteries, 20+ AA, 12 D, 12 C, 6 9V, 12 AAA, and 5 chargers. All have worked well so far and were shipped quickly. I haven't verified the battery specifications. Great price, I would definitely shop again at batteryspace."
