It took 6 Days for them to notify me that they did not have an item I ordered in stock, and to offer me a comparable Item and another 2 days to ship after that.

When I finally received my items part of the order they had not asked about had been replaced with a lower quality incomparable part.

Rather than deal with the hassle of returning or arguing with them I just let it go but I will not shop there again.

UPDATE:
I told myself after my first order with this merchant "never again". Well I made the mistake of falling for their low prices again and am even angrier than the first time.

I placed my order 2011/01/08 and recieved a confirmation stating: Delivery takes 5 - 14 BUSINESS days.

When my order sat pending until 2011/01/18 (6 business 11 temporal days) I sent an email requesting status. I received the response:

"We are still waiting for the order to be delivered from the factory. We estimate that it should arrive later this week or early next week and once we received the product from the factory, we will be able to dispatch your order immediately."

When I hadn't heard anything by the end of the week 20011/01/21 I sent another email requesting status to which I received the reply:

"My apology for the delay as your order has arrived damaged from the factory,we have made a new purchase for the item and we estimate we could be able to dispatch it by the middle of next week. Please note that no additional postage is required as a result of this unfortunate event and your kind understanding is much appreciated."

I thought why would they they charge extra postage for their extremely slow service? Then I thought, do they really only order one of these $20 part sets at a time?

That is what the response seems to be implying - the part arrived broken and they ordered a new part, ONE.

So I waited another week. On 2011/01/28 my order was still marked on their site as pending and I was fed up. For those who aren't keeping score this is 20 temporal days from the order and 14 business days (not including MLK day which I'm sure is a business day for them).

At this point I was a little brash and just went directly to a Paypal dispute to ask for a refund. I didn't really see anyway to cancel orders on the bestofferbuy site and didn't relish an email chain.

Now I can share the only good aspect of the transaction. When I opened the dispute asking for a refund they complied quickly and without argument.

This time really - NEVER AGAIN!"

"I ordered 2 18650 and 4 14500 Lithium batteries and a multi charger. BestOfferBuy has very good pricing and best of all FREE SHIPPING. The shipping time was not bad. About 10 days in total & really pretty good considering having to come from across the pond. :)
There was one wrinkle in my order that my son realized last weekend. All the batteries were supposed to be protected versions. Well, one of my 2 pack batteries were not protected version. The model # E3504 are listed on the site as protected but the 2-2 packs of E3504's I received were not the protected version.
I just found this from my son. My bad for not checking upon receipt. I will email for resolution and report back.
Without the small glitch of wrongly packaged 14500's BestOfferBuy has the beat pricing and again, FREE SHIPPING that can not be beat and would have to rate them a 10 out of 10 except for the non protected battery mix up. So I'm going with a 7 out of 10 for now. As I said I will report back with the outcome of the mix up."
