"I've been a Best Buy customer for over 20 years and have bought a lot of products from them, and appreciate an alternative to Amazon. The customer service has always been good...until now. I bought a rice cooker and had to wait for it to be delivered to my local store for pickup. I got it and the first time I tried to use it, the electronic timer didn't work, which is the whole point of a rice cooker. I brought it back for an exchange, but Best Buy Tysons Corner refused to and were completely unhelpful. They basically said it was my problem to resolve. Guess I will buy from Amazon in the future and not from Best Buy."
"The first we went to was Park Meadows, we were wanting to purchase a Surround System so we asked for someone to assist us, after 30 minutes we left this stoue and went to the Littleton store. We worked with Adam the Senior Consultant and picked out a system for our home. He recomended Geek Squad to install for $200 and we agreed, Adam also gave us his direct phone is we had any issues. the soonest we could have an install was 30 days out. 30 days passed and the install day arrived and the Geek Squad was a NO SHOW or NO CALL and we contacted them to find out a status. The GEEK SQUAD was nothing but RUDE to my wife and the date was pushed out another 30 days for no given reason and if this was not acceptable we can cancel the install!!
We drove to the Littleton store and talked with Alex the store manager and we were told he would make this right with us and find compensation for our troubles...he did nothing to help! We attempted to contact Adam the Senior Consultant we purchased the system with with NO return calls. I receive an email from Adam Senior Consultant with Best Buy and he stated 10-22-22 is the first date avalible for the install and this is best they can do and also stated Best Buy will reevaluate the order and find some compensation for the trouble...he also did nothing.
By 10-22-22 we had installed the speaker system our self other then the sub. Daniel arrived on 10-22-22 and hooked up the sub and tied the system to the receiver but could have spent more time going over the system with us, he was in and out in 60 minutes. The only person that did what he said he would do was Michael Specialty Sales Manager other than he also stated as he was talking with Alex on the phone was that they will compensate us for our problems that did not happen.
At this point we have no issued with the system other then our personal lack of knowledge on how to operate the system.
We still need an additional system for our basement and will look for other options for that system."

"I recently bought a printer from best buy. After 2 weeks from purchase and only a few prints I got an error message that the maintenance box had ended its life. So I called best buy… spoke to an agent who offered his assistance @ $39.99 WHAT!? I call for customer service fir a recent purchase and they want to charge to do customer service!? OUTRAGEOUS! finally the agent agreed to assist and told me I could go by a store and get a box at no charge. Of course I lost connection… so I called back. Spoke to 4 agents all requested the $39.99 fee to help all refused to help when I refused paying to be serviced, all pushed for return of item or anything but standing behind their item and supporting their customer. I will never buy from them again, Office Depot has extraordinary customer service and price matching policy. I have had trouble in the past with items bought from Office Depot and I will say, in the end they were looking for options to make my life easy, solve my issue ASAP and THAT is customer service at it’s best! Best buy will try to squeeze $ from you in every step. THEY **** BIG TIMES! BUY FROM OFFICE DEPOT"

"I ordered a Bosch - 800 Series dishwasher over a month ago. It was listed as in stock. For some reason I could not schedule an appointment for delivery but, Best Buy repeatedly sent reminders to do so. Every time I called, a representative told me that somebody would get back to me in 24-48 hours to schedule an appointment. At some point, Best Buy representatives started telling me it was out of stock, and they did not know when it would be in stock. After a month, I decided to see if it were truly out of stock and so checked a store in a more populated area. It was available for pick-up in 1 hour. Not out of stock at all! To recap, I bought an expensive item from Best Buy where I've been a customer for at least 15 years. They lied to me about the stock status and strung me along for over a month. Then, when I confronted them, call center representatives and chat representatives still tried to tell me it was out of stock. One admitted it was in stock elsewhere--just not near me."
