"I placed an order at beyond stores for an item I intended to give as a Christmas gift. It did not arrive in time. The order was placed on Dec. 5th and I promptly received conformation of the order and was given ability to track the delivery. Tracking consistently claimed delivery was in progress. On Dec. 22nd I received an email that stated the item would be back ordered until Feb., thus giving me virtually no time to find a replacement gift. After expressing my disappointment, they asked if I would accept a reduction in price for my inconvenience. I accepted this offer, realizing I could not find this item elsewhere in time for the holiday. They then went back on their word, saying they couldn't give us a discount. They then proceeded to charge my credit card the full amount on Dec. 23rd, prior to shipping the item. We did receive the item around the second week of Jan. at which time we were instructed to remove item from packaging at time of delivery to inspect for damage. If it was damaged we were told not to accept delivery, because if we did accept delivery and later found the item to be defective they would not replace or repair the item. The item we received did arrive in good condition and we are satisfied with its quality, however, I will never order from this company again! Think twice before ordering from beyond stores."
