"Never, never, never purchase anything from this company, ever! Their sales practices are criminal. The prices are attractive but the added on fees for shipping, handling and insurance (oh, my) are unbelievable. When I complained about being overcharged, the sales rep informed me that they do not make money on the sales but the added on fees. Check the BBB website. The number of complaints speaks volumns."
"WARNING: This was the worst (attempted) internet purchase I've ever made! I placed an order for a Toshiba notebook computer for my son. To make a long story short, after receiving the "receipt" via e-mail, I received another e-mail to "confirm" my order with Robby L. I sent a polite e-mail asking Robby L. to call me, since it would be long distance. I never received any reply, and my charge card remained uncharged. I sent a second e-mail asking if Robby L. received my phone number. No call and no e-mail. Finally, today (18 Oct), I got fed up and sent them an e-mail asking if they treated all their customers this way, or only those of us on the front lines with APO/FPO addresses? The reply from Robby L. was: "Sorry but I cant call an international phone number nor can I ship to an APO address and don't try and put the guilt on me of you being on the front line. Your order has been cancelled." Hmmm. That's funny. If the notebook couldn't be sent to an APO/FPO address, why didn't they just tell me that, rather than say on their website that they do?? And, why did Robby L. want me to call long distance to tell me that? What kind of games are they playing? And to think, I wasted a lot of time on a lousy company, when I could have been dealing with one that is more hospitable towards those of us serving in 3rd world countries where we can't just go out and buy a computer. Unfortunately, I placed my order before checking into this company. If I had, I could have spared myself all this trouble. "
"Ordered Nikon Lens tru Web Site. Salesman (Marc) guaranteed lens would be new USA Warrenty. This particular lens was to come with a Nikon Rebate. Lens arrived in unwrapped, banged up box, no rebate, and in used condition. Lens has play in the focusing barrell making it unable to accurately focus in the auto feature, therefore it is defective. BigOnDigital has refused to issue a Return Authorization and blames the delivery of wrong lens on UPS. Saleman states item was shipped incorrectly from a Nikon Dealer when the return address on the shipping box has BigOnDigitals address. Started a Charge Back suit with my credit card. They wanted me to cancel the Charge Back. Very upset that I would take this action to protect myself. If there is one impression I can leave anyone with is: DO NOT BUY OR TRUST these people. They are Con-Artists. BigOnDigital policy states "All of our products are brand new and factory sealed." When ordering salesman (Marc) told me there would be no trouble returning item if they did not live up to what they promised. Now they claim lens are an accessory and not returnable. Unbelieveable, even when they send items that are not what you ordered and defective on top of it. They will tell you anything to get your order. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. You are better off paying a little more for your item at a reputable dealer. "

"Beware of their RMA Procedures. As posted on the internet, you can return any product for any reason, defective or not, no restocking fee, Their RMA Form says you will be charged a 10% restocking fee, and when you receive your product, the invoice with the product states you CAN'T return a product UNLESS it's defective. I contacted BigOnDigital for an RMA number for a return of one of the two items I purchased. An RMA number was refused and I was pretty much told "tough luck". My shipping was slow and I will not do business with this company again."

"Bought an HDTV set-top box. They had one at a very good price, it was an older model, but fine for my requirements. They sent me an email asking to call customer service, after waiting about 30 minutes listening to Seinfeld comedy routines (a great "on hold" recording IMO - much better than MUZAK or ads), I had to give my credit card confirmation number. A week later after hearing nothing via phone or email I called again. After 2 minutes on hold I was told my order would go out the next day. The next day I got a receipt emailed to me (PDF - slick, much nicer than an email receipt). The Big On Digital online order tracking is fantastic, you can see when your order was placed, billed, sent out, and they have an automatic link to UPS for tracking information. Very professional.
My only complaint was that it took them a week to ship my order. The price was excellent, the shipping was kind of expensive but was very fast and the total was less than I would have paid elsewhere. The item arrived in very good condition exactly as promised.
After reading some comments here I was worried that Big On Digital was going to be a problem, but for me they worked fine, great price, good customer service. I know there are a lot of horror stories, but mine is a happy one. :)"
"Truly a scam company. I ordered a camera that they claimed was in stock. Everytime I called they said it was in their shipping department.
Finally I pressed the issue and the admitted they didn't have the product and didn't know when it would be in stock. I asked for a refund. They said it would take 3to5 weeks to credit my card.
I got the Bank involved and they still haven'd credited my card. Don't but from them"
"Horrible seller. Don't make the same mistake I did and give these losers your money. Very convenient that there is a mysterious insurance charge that does not show up on your invoice, but they will charge you for. The insurance is like 7% of the price of your item. That doesn't even make any sense and has fraud written all over it. Once you make the order, you're screwed because the restocking fees and cancellation fees are so high that your stuck not cancelling the order. I could go on forever about how everyone there (including the incompetent managers) will hang up on you or just pretend like they will call you back. Everything that all of the other reviewers have said is 100% TRUE. I hope they go out of business soon because people like this deserve it. Also watch out for paying more for faster shipping because I paid alot of money for 3 day shipping and these idiots not only sent it to the wrong address but also sent it out 3-5 day shipping. "Big on digital charges my credit card for over $800.00. They said they had product but it never existed. So after 6 weeks I tried to cancel the order. The manager siad there was a 10% restocking fee. I explained that that was fraud since I was shipped nothing to restock. Then he said that the Yamaha Surround Sound systems were all recalled and he tried to sell me some other system.
I worked with mastercard to get the charges removed and thought the matter was done with. But now they recharged my credit card for $825.00.. I have the charge in dispute but may take legal action against the compant for fraudulent charge.
DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS with this Company.

"Bought a Sharp 37 inch Aquos LCD from Big on Digital. Big on Digital said there was a rebate but it was expired and then only sent the screen, not the media box. It took three weeks to get the media box. Put the LCD together and half the screen was black. Big on Digital will not exchange the TV. Big on will not do anything but hang up the phone on me! Sharp has been great to deal with. DO NOT BUY FROM BIG ON DIGITAL."
"I purchased a digital camera through the Yahoo Price Comparison process...after receiving multiple "confirmation" emails asking me to call their 1-866 number, I realized that they are only trying to telemarket additional products. Customer service responds with disrespect and even hung up on me!
After finally placing the order, the item was to be shipped ground to my home address - it has been over two weeks now and I have not received anything.
After calling three times, I was told that their shipment was damaged and they would like to sell me another camera - when asking what camera is comparable, I was refferd to a completely different camera with different media and etc (not to mention, their price on this camera was a lot higher than other online stores). Additionally, they again tried to sell me accessories totaling $100 more than my original order.
- Customer Service: Poor; expect to listen to Jerry Seinfeld for 45 min. minimum on phone while waiting
- Product Quality: Never Received; no confirmation emails; no tracking numbers - Nothing!
- Scam: Continuously sent emails to "call customer service" about my order, where as the company wanted to make additional sales

Of course, the company never asked for it. When I called I was placed on hold several times for about 15 minutes. After I gave the salesman the number, he tried to sell me several additional (discounted) items. After a week with no delivery, I called to check on my order. After being placed on hold several times for about a half hour, I was told a convoluted story about my camera having been sent back to the manufacturer for repackaging. I was then told that it would be sent two-day delivery immediately. It wasn't. After waiting another week, I tried to contact the company again, only to be placed on hold and hung up on several times. I have yet to see the camera and have been unable to contact the company. I have now sent them two e-mails in an attempt to cancel the order. The company has yet to respond. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT!"
"Big on Digital is a very bad company. I wish I had checked here before ordering. Last week I ordered a digital camera and accessory kit, and a few days later got a call from a salesman to "check my security code". He then tried to talk me into buying a more expensive item, telling me that what I ordered from them would be obsolete in no time. Nice! After about 10 minutes I finally convinced him that I didn't want to buy anything else (which made him angry) and now when I call to check my order I hear nothing but static on their phone system. My emails have also gone unanswered. It's been a week now since I ordered and have not heard anything back and cannot get in touch with this company. I guess you get what you pay for. Stay away from Big on Digital!"

Officially the worst company i have ever dealt with. it took them a week and a half to confirm my order and after calling them every other day for the past 2 and a half weeks (over a month after i ordered my camera) i still don't have it, and have still been told everytime i call that it will be shipped the next day or that day. I still don't believe that this company even exists except i talked to about 5 different people everytime i called because they would always put me on hold.
