"I ordered a Nikon 8700. I also had to confirm my order and then they tried to upsell my everything at outragous prices. I have spoken with Larry, William, Stan, Mike, and Nicole. They put you on hold to "look for your order"(wait for you to hang up) if you don't they get on the phone after a half an hour and say what were you waiting for. As if they have never talked to you before. they then tell you that the camera is not in stock and if you want they have the Camera with Pro package which is 300-400 dollars more and it can ship in a few days. They are nice until you place your order then if you don't buy the kitchen sink they screw you."

"BEWARE! I ordered a Kenwood HTIB and it took two weeks to receive confirmation and for them to even ship out my order. They have the worst customer service there is online. Nicole is rude and knows nothing about any questions you may have. I also purchased a 2 year warranty that I still as of 4/14/04 have not received any information about my warranty. They say it is in the mail and don't know when it was mailed. Go figure? Might be a little cheaper with prices but be prepared to go through long holds on the phone with customer service and Seinfeld jokes. It is now 4/28/04 and they have finally sent me a tracking number for my extended warranty. To make things right they gave me an extra year warranty for the delays. Glad they offered to make things right!"
"DO NOT BUY FROM 'BIG ON DIGITAL'! I made that mistake. It is very frustrating experience and not worth of saving money. They are totally unprofessional, with no manners (sales person Stan Anderson & cust. service Nicole). As soon as they obtain your credit card details, you swallowed the bait. First, they will lure you into the deal for low advertised price. Then they impose on you fictitious 'Insurance costs' and subseqently they lie regarding shipping chargers.(Charged me for UPS 'Three Day Select' $59.95, then shipped for $8.35 'UPS Ground'). They don't respect your right to cancel next day prior of shipping. Instead they will threaten you with 25%cancelation fee and 10% re-stocking fee.

Check on complaints on this establishment with BBB and realize, how is it possible these very same people can suddenly be so efficient, professional and courteous to other customers unless they are all schizophrenics !? I only hope that this warning will alert potential buyers who can still awoid the unnecessary pains. Also beware: This very same Merchant group appears on Internet under all different company names and nicely designed websites. They are using all possible tricks on us!! We, the trusting customers need to drive crooks like these OUT OF BUSINESS!!

Ordered Sony TRV80 over 15 days ago and have not recieved any indication of shipment. Card was charged the first day after obligatory "call to customer service for cvv code" which ended up being a hard sell for over priced accessories and warranty.
Everytime I call them for status I wait on hold for 20+ minutes (I assume with other dissatisfied customers), listening to the same Seinfeld soundtrack. Once I talk to someone I am told the item "has shipped", after asking for a tracking number I am placed on hold for another 20 minutes and then told "no more information is available". They are very rude and act like I am the one at fault.
I can honestly say this is the WORST online shopping experience I have ever had. If you don't believe me, just go to www.bbb.org and look up their record.

Still no shipping confirmation three weeks after ordering; disputed the charge with credit card company. Called a final time today to tell them I disputed the transaction, and they said 'too late' it already shipped (not the first time I've heard that). Told them to cancel it and take it up with the credit card company. I'll keep you posted . . .

I get an email today that they shipped the item yesterday; a full 22 days after placing the order AND attempting to cancel. Plus, it shipped from Brooklyn when all this time they've been saying it had been drop shipped from California over two weeks ago. We'll see what condition the item arrives in . . . I'll keep you posted.

My order arrived today almost 1 month after placing it and SEVERAL calls to customer service. Everything was in order, item was new, though the extended warranty was made through www.repairtech.com rather than Mack camera as they quoted me over the phone. All I can say is avoid this reseller unless you want to wait as many WEEKS for your order to arrive as I did. You do not deserve the disrespect they give you over the phone. Shop elsewhere! That's my story and I'm sticking to it."
