"I attempted to purchase my motorcycle brake pads on line. It seems that most of the motorcycle parts sites make it more difficult and confusing to choose the correct part needed by only giving limited information on the parts to be purchase. For example, if a bike has more than one type of caliper installed in a give year, the illustration of the caliper and pads should be accurate to the parts being purchased per make model & year and not just a general illustration of brake pads. Dimemsions of the pads would also be helpful. The differences between pad types and materials would be useful in making a decision on which to pad to use. I have purchased for BikeBandit before and the last time I was matching a tire.. This was far easier in wading through the choices because I was trying to match what I already had. I finally called the customer service line to get the correct part and was offered the $33.00 pads. When asked why those (I was considering the $19.00 pads), I was told that the pads suggested were the best choice for my cycle. No other explanation offered. I did purchase these and will see how they perform. No other comments at this time."
