Lies

"I've had 3 orders, all of which were said to ship within a few days, and they didn't. My last few orders I was even given tracking numbers for but FedEx never receives the shipments."

One is on back order scheduled to ship near the beginning of March
The second, it took FedEx a really long time to scan after they picked it up from our warehouse and is scheduled to arrive Feb 23rd.
The third, again took a few days for FedEx to scan and see it was delivered on Feb 15th.

We are experiencing scanning issues with FedEx and are working hard to fix this, we are so sorry for the inconvenience. ”

Worst experience ever

"This is the absolute worst company I’ve ever delt with. Don’t walk, run as fast as you can away from this company. They will advertise ship dates with no bikes in stock. Their first response is “if you don’t want to wait, we can give you a refund.” I don’t want a refund, I want a bike. Hence, the bike purchase. The customer service teams have no idea of when your bike will ship so in order to get you off the phone, they will tell you give us 48 hours. At this point I have no idea how long it will be. A week? A month? A year? I would be satisfied waiting if I could at least get a general timeframe of when they will ship. I don’t know and there is literally nothing we can do are not the proper responses. Requests for phone calls back largely go ignored. Save yourself the hassle and spend your money elsewhere. "

We had a look into your situation and are so sorry for the delays and lack of information you were given. We work with a 3rd party company at our warehouse and they failed to inform us of a Covid outbreak and a power outage they sustained when the Jan 6th & 12th pre-orders were supposed to ship. We finally discovered this 2 weeks after as they kept telling us they were working on getting orders out. So we have been delayed since then and are working hard to catch up. ”

Delay

"It's been 8 days since I've ordered and my bike hasn't shipped. When I spoke to customer support they said they couldn't cancel my order because it was shipped. You can see when they created the shipping label, they created it 1 minute after I asked to cancel my order. "

Post purchase support terrible

"Bought a 2021 Polygon Relic 24 - Kids Mountain Bike for my daughter for Xmas. I did receive the bike a week before x-mas which was great so no complaints with shipping. My daughter also loves the bike and for the most part I am happy with the purchase. However when assembling the bike I noticed that the front rotor or disc was warped. Contacted customer support sent in a video of the warped rotor and customer support told me to readjust the brakes, I readjusted the brakes several times however you can not take the warp out of the rotor by adjusting the brakes over and over again. I requested that they send me a replacement rotor (likely $10) and I was told that the in house mechanic would be contacted, this was on January 4th, still no reply.
So if you get a bike with no issues you should be fine. If you have any problems with your bikes hardware, well your in for a wait and maybe no support (im still waiting).
I guess this is the drawback of buying from Indonesia and not a local source.

Oh and if you try to leave a bad review on Bikesonlines website, good luck. They only let you post positive reviews.

We are so sorry you had to jump through so many hoops with your warped rotor. We have spoken to our team about why this took so long so it doesn't happen again, however we do have procedures in place to sort out post sale problems that our aganest need to follow. We see the last response to you was for you to get a rotor from your local bike shop and we'd reimburse you. If you have done that please let us know so we can refund you.

We are really behind on responding to BikesOnline reviews and do post all after we look into and research what went wrong with some of the lower star reviews. That can take up to 30 -45 mins each to find emails. calls and speak to agents so we can answer with a solution or explanation. ”

"I bought a Polygon Siuskiu D7 from BikesOnline, the bike shipped to me quickly (in about a week). The bike is absolutely amazing, had great spec, looked amazing, and at a great price. There were issues with the shipment, which I made the BikesOnline team aware of, the box had a hole in it, the bike was scratched up in a few parts, and may have also impacted shifting. The BikesOnline team took care of all my issues and really looked out for this new BikeOnline advocate! "

My experience with bikesonline.com

"So ordered an N7 on December 11th and was told it shipped on the 15th. Only the tracking number was for a shipping label and did not indicate Fedex had the bike. I called and was told that Fedex is "lying" and they have it. This continued until December 20th. When it "showed" up with Fedex. I thought it would get shipped (according to their website) and arrive ahead of the big Christmas rush but now it was dead in the middle of it. The box was delivered and there was an obvious large hole with the front brake assembly sticking out of it and it's scratched. I had just watched the young delivery driver set the entire bike down on the end of the box with the fork sticking out. Can't blame bikesonline.com for that and I was glad I captured the drop off. Contacted bikesonline.com who knew already I wasn't happy with the shipping communication. They were nice enough to ship another bike immediately following the Christmas weekend, for my part I returned the bike that day and sent them the recording of the delivery so they could claim damages. Little did I know It wasn't all Fedex's fault.
The following Monday I'm told "my bike has shipped." Again the tracking number is just for a shipping label and not a bike. As it clearly says on Fedex's website. Again I contact bikesonline.com only now I keep it to messaging to have a record. We go back and forth. They constantly blame Fedex and I tell them I don't care, just want my bike and in one piece. This time it only took two days after being told my bike was shipped for it to actually "show up" at Fedex.
Fast forward to delivery day. Again, obvious hole and in the same place as last time only not as bad. The first box started tearing this one did not. There is a hole in the side but not huge and the top is almost open. Five pieces of tape secure the top and three have broken.
Unlike the first bike this one I open and look inside. First thing I see is that the bike is shipped with the stem and forks turned backwards because otherwise it wont fit. Which is fine but they don't secure the bike from shifting. There is nothing to keep the bike from sliding in the box which is why the front brake assembly can punch a hole in the box. Also there is nothing around the stem so the bike can also shift up and against the top. Which it did and the front brake lever almost punched two different holes all the way through two layers of packing cardboard. I see that the handlebar is not wrapped or protected so the brake and shifter levers are exposed and can knock around inside the box. I also see that the left grip is damaged. It impacted the box hard enough that the end of the bar tore clean through the end of the grip. Needless to say I now see that the damage is not all Fedex's fault. In fact for the sake of one or two pieces of packing material the whole thing could've been avoided. I leave the bike in the box.
So I send bikesonine.com a message or two explaining what has happened again, and suggest that either I send it back, or they can cover taking it to a shop to check it out, repair if necessary and replace the grip which is something they had offered before but I didn't want to wait for a new brake assemble, little did I know.
Monday rolls around and I call to get the ball rolling. I ask to talk to one of the people I've been messaging with and I'm told some one will call me. They don't. They message me which I'm not expecting and they tell me, "sorry, you can send it back" and that's it. I call and they essentially are trying to fire me as a customer now. They simply stated I could send the bike back, period.
Now in their defense I have been demanding and sent quite a few messages and it's the holidays. I haven't sworn or threatened I have merely been persistent in my expectations. That I receive the bike I paid for in an undamaged box and in an undamaged state and that they just be honest about times. In my defense they tell a lot of stories that demand more questions then they answers and I was always happy to wait.

I would also put out there that this is how it seems they pay for free shipping:
You order your bike. They create a shipping label at the 3PL so that they can give the customer the idea the bike is shipped. They load the bike into a trailer. That trailer sits until it is filled or until they are up against the date the shipping label is good for at which time they finalize the pick up with Fedex. They would have me believe that it's Fedex that sits on trailers full of bikes for up to five days at their shipping hub. They never offer to look into it.
I would have just paid for shipping if I thought it would've made a difference.
I'm also wondering if it's true they put it together test it and then box it at there facility.
So now I have a bike in a box in my garage which I don't know if they will even warranty. They may make me send it back. Polygon, from what I can tell is a fine company with a good product and I really wish I was riding it right now. I just wish they had a different distributor.

As we spoke over the phone and back and forth via email, FedEx has not been scanning our packages when they are picked up from our warehouse. We are in contact with our warehouse manager daily and he sees the FedEx truck/trailer pick up all our bikes. Then we think it goes to the nearest FedEx hub in Pacoima, Ca and we don't have any jurisdiction. We are trying to get through to FedEx regarding this ongoing issue and it's nearly impossible to drill into them. ”

"Nothing but praise for Customer Service! I ordered two bikes for Christmas as gifts & when I assembled both bikes, the front detailers on both needed some serious adjustment. I sent an e-mail Christmas day to Customer Service with the issue & I received a reply the first business day with a satisfactory resolution. Anyone can sell a product, but the true test is if you have a problem or issue & how is it resolved? I give Customer Service an A+, I plan to do business again, thanks :)"
