Trash business. Does not deliver furniture inside your house - only drops curbside

"Absolutely horrible experience with these guys.

Vidas and his crew are apparently running a drop shipping business, which is fine, but it's not clearly stated anywhere on their listings at Amazon.

I purchased a couch from them off of Amazon and they only had one shipping option. A couple of days before the couch was scheduled to be delivered, I got a text from the last mile driver who was setting an appointment to deliver. Because they had mentioned "dropping" the couch, I asked them to confirm that they would be "dropping" it inside my house. They said no, and that they only would drop my couch curbside. A 238 pound couch being delivered to a 50 year old man with physical conditions preventing the lifting of more than about 50 pounds who lives alone and works from home would not be able to bring in such a thing by himself. And to deliver a piece of furniture like this to a residence makes no sense to drop it at curbside.

I asked them to return the item to their local warehouse, hold it, and await further instructions.

I then contacted BisonOffice about the odd choice of delivery. They gave me multiple canned responses about how they do not deliver inside people's homes due to COVID, even though I'd had multiple maintenance people inside my home, and at least a couple of furniture deliveries to the inside of my home since COVID started. This was the FIRST time anyone has ever said to me that they could not deliver inside my home because of the pandemic.

I asked BisonOffice to set up a 3rd party carrier to deliver inside and they told me that they could not do that. Ridiculous.

So, now, as a purchaser of a $1300 couch, I was to play the part of a logistics director instead of consumer to fix the failed delivery of my couch.

After it was confirmed that they returned my couch to the local warehouse, and the address to where it was dropped, I set up a carrier for $160 to pick up the couch and deliver it to me. When they arrived to pick up, they were told that it hadn't been removed from the trailer yet and that it would take at least a couple of days before they could even locate the couch.

So, ding, I lost $160. But, arguably, it was partially my fault because I wasn't aware of their procedures. The couch needed to be located and placed into will call.

So, I waited for them to contact me to let me know it was in will call.

On a Monday, they called me letting me know it was in will call and ready for pickup. I called a courier to set another pickup that Wednesday - this time, it was $200. On Tuesday, I called to reconfirm the couch was in will call and was told it was there. On Wednesday, my courier arrived to pick up the couch and, guess what? It was still on a trailer somewhere. No one knew where it was.

I contacted BisonOffice again. By this point, the time from when i was first contacted about curbside delivery to that Wednesday of a missing couch was about 2 1/2 weeks because everyone was moving sooooo slow. I told BisonOffice that all of this was caused because they could not properly deliver a couch to a residential address and that if my couch was not located by the end of the week, I wanted a full refund plus reimbursement for the failed pickups.

This is also when I did research on BisonOffice and found out that their address was actually a UPS Store box and NOT an actual suite. Had I done the research beforehand, I probably would not have even ordered from them.

But, regardless of that, BisonOffice did provide a full refund for the horrible experience, but said that it was not part of their policy to reimburse for outside expenses, even though they were DIRECTLY responsible for them.

I would highly recommend not giving these guys an opportunity to serve you. No matter what the issue I had with them throughout this horrible experience, they would always say that it's "not in their policy" to do such things as keep their customers happy, provide a better delivery experience, or just run a business the RIGHT way. These guys obviously do not care about their customers at all. They say words indicating differently, but their actions show that they clearly are more about themselves than the industry they pretend to be a part of.

Stay away at all costs. Look them up in the Illinois SOS website and then go down the rabbit hole to see just how illegitimate they are.

Garbage. Trash.

Avoid - Gives Run Around and Blames Others for Their Mistakes

"Bought over $3,000 in furniture. Items arrived in 9 boxes all stacked on one pallet...imagine the pallet being an ant and the ant carrying something 1,000 times its size. 6 of the 9 boxes contained damaged and cracked items, none of the boxes were damaged.

According to freight manifest, the shipper (Bisonoffice.com or its supplier) loaded the pallet, not the freight company.

Reported issue to bisonoffice and they want to blame the freight company!! AND they want to make the claim my problem by asked for pictures of each corner of the box. All kinds of dumb stuff that isn't my issue. Instead of acknowledging the issue and sending replacement items or returning with a RMA number issued within 24 hours of request as listed on their policies, Bisonoffice gives run around and avoids. They just constantly say will hear from Bisonoffice shortly (literally).

Got my credit card company involved, Bisonoffice is a scam company that won't be in business long. Blames others on its problems to avoid financial damages associated with their own screw ups and avoids taking responsibility for the damage goods received by customers

A horror story

"Purchased a beautiful glass table from Bison Office (through Amazon) and a year later it spontaneous EXPLODED. I'm not joking you, I was in the room when it happened and all at once the table burst into a million tiny shards of glass. It took me 4 hours to clean up and over a month later I'm still finding glass in my living room (glass was found 13 feet from the table). I wish I could attach photos because words do not do it justice.

After 33 emails back and forth, and relentless phone calls, they finally agreed to a replacement and a $400 refund. I had to fight them at ever turn to compensate me for this nightmare of a scenario. They refused assembly so when the replacement arrived, the 198lb table was on a pallet and I had to try to get it inside my row home alone, while it was raining. I just opened it and it came with NO table legs, NO hardware, NO instructions. I already paid the $200 to have a junk truck pickup what was left of my last table so now I just have a tabletop sitting on the floor of my living room. In total, I would say this issue has cost me 15-20 hours of my time and it's still not over.

They do not deserve your business!

"HORRIBLE customer service. They never figured out what happened with my product BUT still didn't want to ship another one NOR refund my money. Over a week of back and forth and trying to toss the issue under the rug. NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK

Check all negative reviews. Buyer beware!

"These people are unethical and are only out to get your money. I purchased a gazebo that was falsely advertised as 11x11 feet. When I went to the manufacture's site to look at specific dimensions. I couldn't find any 11x11 gazebos that matched the image of the one I had purchased. Right away, I reached out to Bison for model and and number to check on dimensions. They only provided this info after item had shipped and I refused delivery. Turns out, they copied the description and details from a totally different gazebo, rather than the one originally provided by the manufacturer. If you look up the model number online(Sunjoy A 102008500), you will see that the description AND dimensions does NOT match the one they have posted.*The actual Sunjoy description can be seen in Tractor Supply's listing below. They claimed that I was responsible for returned shipping and a 15% restock fee. The gazebo was $1588. 90, so I was out to lose a lot of money. They claimed that they didn't issue full refunds for customers who had a "change of heart." Liars and scammers. Fortunately, I paid with Paypal so I was able to file a dispute. I was able to provide enough evidence to support my claim and they ruled in my favor and I was issued a full refund. Had I paid with my debit card, I would have been out hundreds of dollars."

Be Warned!

"I do not normally go out to review companies unless I feel strongly about it (in a good or bad way). Unfortunately, this is a bad one.

I ordered something on Amazon (a cork board for my daughter), and they sent me a picture frame! I went to contact them through amazon only to look at their reviews, and found out that this is something they have done in the past as well, then would not offer refunds according to those reviews.

I would be very careful when working with this company. This is not one I will go back to, and will now make sure I check reseller reviews before purchasing anything on Amazon.

Lies and more lies!

"I purchased a rug from Bison Office, and they sent an entirely different rug than what was ordered. I contacted them and they agreed to send a replacement rug that was correct. The replacement was awful in appearance and not at all like the one pictured on their website. I emailed them three times to get a second replacement or a refund but did not hear back from them. I contacted PayPal to file a complaint and Bison Office replied, stating that they responded to my emails, even stating that they sent a return shipping label. I received a voicemail from them a couple of days later but when I called the number provided, I was prompted to enter the star symbol and an extension or person's name. However, each time I tried to do so the phone disconnected, and this matter is still not resolved. I am posting this message to make others aware so they can avoid the same problem I'm having with Bison Office."

Liars!

"I ordered an Air Conditioner on Amazon and BisonOffice was the third party seller. They quoted a week and a half, give or take two days. So, a week goes by and there's no "shipped" indication. The first estimated day of arrival rolls around and I check. "Shipped" it say's, so I click on the "Track Package" button and a message comes up. "No tracking information provided. Please contact the seller.". Ah okay.. it's not late yet. Two more days go by..... nothing. The day after the latest estimated arrival date, still nothing, so I go to my Amazon orders and contact the seller. I write, "Please provide tracking number". That's all I write. Two more days go by and I get an e-mailed response. "I see that you've ordered on the Amazon site and I will escalate the matter to see what happened.". Crap, so it was never shipped. "Oh well", I think, "At least they're on it.". The next day, I get another e-mail from BisonOffice. This one say's, "I'm sorry, but we're out of stock on this item and we don't know when we'll be getting more. We're cancelling your order". WTF?! So, they lied about having the item. They lied about shipping the non-existent item. They removed the "Track Package" function to try and hide their deceit. Do yourself a favor and shelter friends and family from these ugly amateurs. I'd say recommend them to your enemies, but that might make them stay in business longer, so I'm torn."

WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!

"I placed an order with Bison Office Furniture on May 20th, 2019 for $1800 worth of patio furniture. On May 30th, I received an email indicating that it had shipped. A few days ago I tried tracking it with the number that they provided (which by the way was the same number as my online order number) but it comes up invalid for that shipper. When I contacted Bison to obtain the correct tracking info, not only are they unable to supply the info, they don't even know where the furniture is or who the correct carrier is. I have opened a dispute with PayPal indicating that I want a full refund to my credit card. After initiating the dispute with PayPal, I received a call from Bison Customer Service asking if I would like to cancel the order and I said yes. I am still waiting to see this credit processed through PayPal. This is not a brick and mortar company and they do not have stocked warehouses or distributuion centers. It's strictly an eCommerce business and so as they receive online orders, they try to source it from other businesses. Save yourself the frustration and buy from a more respectable and reputable retailer."
