"I ordered 2 and they sent only 1. When I called it turns out I had only paid for the one...but I ordered 2! OK, my bad...I thought $60 was a fair price for 2 since they advertise $19 all over the place and $30 each sounded about right and I never realized it was the price for only one. My fault not to figure it out, I get it...but I did ORDER 2! So I now I order the 2nd one (again) and it is $5 more than the first one. Ok, sale was over, but can't you cut me a break? I did ask for 2 after all. Geesh. And now it will be another 3 weeks. Not happy. "
"A contractor from Blinds.com did a very professional job measuring drapes and
suggestions ( charged $83.00). He did have good suggestions however there were
some drawbacks. By accident he left my old blinds in my spare room which were
fully closed WIDE OPEN!!!!!. I have to wait for my husband to return home, I
cannot lower the blinds ( too short). The irony is a want shades that emit
no sunlight!. Great now I cannot enter the spare room until evening!.
That is not the best? part!. The contractor did not leave any of the measurements
he measured for the blinds or shades while he was at my home!. He said he
would e-mail them!. Why?.. When I realized very soon that I would have to
place the order myself thru Blinds.com why bother?.
I am terrible with figures which would destroy any chances of having the shades
dimensions correct I do not know 1/4 to whatever!. Plus ordering shades
involves practically doing all the work yourself!. Forgit It!.
When he mentioned Blinds.com was owned by Home Depot my headache
with Home Depot for blinds and drapes which was a disaster returned!.
If you are not a happy customer of Home Depot absolutely DO NOT use this
company!.

"Blinds arrived 1 month after ordering, was a bit small but i procrastinated a bit putting them on, and passed their 30 days Surefit Guarantee by 8 days and the only way to replace them is to re-order a new one, their 100% satisfaction guarantee is completely a lie."
"A half-hour job that took three days. It is possible that the job would have gone smoothly if I had mounted the light-filtering honeycomb blinds on wood, but our window openings are drywall. Blinds.com provides screws for either wood or masonry, but the screws and anchors for drywall are "not provide" (sic), nor are specifications. I telephoned customer service to ask what size screws I should use. Long pause. "Let me put you on hold." When the voice came back, I was told that the wood screws are 1-1/4 inches, so I should use something between 1-1/4 to 1-1/2. For 3/8-in drywall?? Naively, I did as instructed. After repairing the stucco, spackling the immense holes, repainting the scarred header, and re-drilling for more reasonable 3/4-inch #6 screws/anchors, I thought I had it made. Wrong. The mounting brackets would not engage the top rail. Reason? Each bracket has three holes--two oval slots fore and aft, and a round hole between them. The illustrations in the instructions are barely legible, but seemed to indicate that one should use the two slots (confirmed when I persuaded the company to email me a .pdf instruction sheet and brought it up on a 20-inch monitor). Wrong. With flat-head wood screws that would work. With pan-head drywall screws, the dome of the screw head presses down on the top rail, pushing it beyond the reach of the leaf-spring pawl on the bracket that is intended to engage the top rail. First time we pulled on the cord, the entire unit came crashing down. More re-drilling. Using the forward oval slot and the round hole, the top rail clicked into place flawlessly. The blinds are really very nice. Comparable in quality (at 1/10 the price) to the custom made blinds we have on the glass front of our A-Frame, but the very nice, very congenial customer service reps know nothing about installation, the company does not furnish all the needed hardware (viz., screws and anchors for drywall), and the instructions are both difficult to understand and shot with errors. "These blinds are horrible. We strings that lift the blinds are constantly tangled and in knots. This is a manufacturing defect because the strings are different lengths. Also the ends fall apart constantly. I've reached out to the manufacturer and they sent me parts for blinds that I don't own. "
"After 2 years of dealing with getting 4 different blinds replaced after 2 weeks of use, I have decided to cut my losses and repurchase the 7 blinds at Home Depot. That is really saying something. None of the products worked well and I have a crooked blind in my living room."
"I ordered my blinds on December 3rd I received them on December 23rd they were supposed to be faux wood blinds very unhappy they do not look like faux wood at all"
"I ordered 4 custom made blinds receiving as ordered. The color we selected was not what we expected. ( Order samples to be sure of the color.) I contacted Blinds.com and they are sending new blinds at the color we selected at no cost. That is amazing!
I highly recommend Blinds.com and will use them again in the future.

"Salesman Chris L. is trying to sell a product that he knows little about. Yet even with the wrong spec's he still asks me twice to place the order. He needs better training and supervision. "
"Order some blinds, the didn't sand me the right brackets, call them and they send me the some brackets but not the right ones. I still missing two pieces and I cannot get my blinds up the right way after all the money and time. The quality is very average and the instructions are horrible and difficult to follow. Do not recommended."
"I ordered horizontal blinds for my dining room. The order arrived about 2 feet too short. Called blinds.com and found out my order was sent to someone else and vice versa. Apparently the person who got my blinds was told to throw my blinds in the garbage which makes absolutely no sense. I was told to have the blinds I received shipped out so they could go to the proper person (who threw my blinds away). I was given no promise of any remake date and was only offered a measly 20% off for the inconvenience. After speaking with multiple people, I was promised my order would be rushed and shipping would be expedited. I called several days later to check status and was told in fact they were not going to expedite the shipping as the lady who promised me they would never "noted" it in the system. The customer reps are trained to be very apologetic but do not actually do anything helpful to ensure the correct product is actually delivered. Nobody ever follows through with callbacks or follow through. I canceled my order and will never use this company again."
"Just received blinds and they are right color and size. When I go to install and snap the top into the 3 brackets they do not fit. As engineer I do see how this bracket will hold."
"I ordered 3 blinds from these people and it will be about 20 working days until I receive them"
"Hey have a 14 day policy to deal with damage. Since we were finishing up a remodel we didn’t open everything up within that window. They also didn’t emphasize the 14 day limit so we didn’t give it much thought. One out of nine arrived damaged, and they didn’t offer anything beyond a 20% discount on a new order. That’s a worse offer than what they advertise for everyday sales. Very poor policy for dealing with customer issues. "
"I am beyond upset with this company also. We have ordered before from blinds.com and haven't had a problem with the blinds for the kitchen and bedroom. When I ordered the large one for the living room and it came to the house it was to wide. I called customer service and they shipped a new one and then the third one and then a fourth. How many times does it take I asked to get the correct size? I called to order the one for the dinning room and when it showed up it was to wide also, here we go again. I called customer service and # two and # three are to wide. We just had the new window put in and its time to put up the blind in the dinning room. I had forgot that it was too wide so I called customer service 2 times and got the run around so I asked to speak to a supervisor. I told him what happened on a Thursday and he said he would call me back on Monday. I didn't get a call back and neither did my wife. I spoke to another supervisor today (Wednesday) and explained what happened and he said it has been to long since I got the wrong size on the 3rd one. So now I have 6 blinds in the spare bedroom I can't use and still have a window with no blind on it and am out $400.00. This crap is made in China and they don't use a tape measure and have NO QUALITY CONTROL.. If I had any hair on my head I would be pulling it out. right now! My advice would be to stay FAR, FAR away from blinds.com."
