"I had 9 roller shades made for my floor to ceiling windows. After going with the professionals measuring guide my shades are 4” too short! Blinds.com’s offer to fix this is 4 roller shades made for free and 5 we have to pay for with 20% off lol. Screw this company! Bunch of scam artists preying on people. Manager says she’ll call back and 6 days later nothing! You wouldn’t believe the incompetent emails I’ve received... you’ve been warned."

"I placed an order for living room, bedroom and kitchen blinds. I was worried at first because I was measuring myself and the livingroom window is huge and had two smaller windows. I was also ordering different color blinds for the bedroom and was goin by what I saw online. Everything came on time and the quality was great. I had the blinds installed and I constantly get compliments on them. I’m very pleased with Blinds.com"
"I received a request from Blinds.com to post a review about our order(s) and wrote an honest one. I then received this email; "Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!". This is not an honest way to do business. If you're interested, here is my review. First, let me be clear that we have placed 3 different orders with Blinds.com. Second, EACH one has had problems - wrong items shipped (and reshipped - WRONG items), quoted single rail and then when we received double we were told they do not make the single rail (but were offered the single rail the second time also, I needed to inform the salesperson that it does not come that way). This last time they sent the order as an "inside mount" even though it was a reorder of an outside mount, sent the wrong valance and after we called to try and get the correct one they resent the wrong one. Feeling like a discount is more trouble than it's worth!

I ordered a drapes one month ago (over $1000)and received the product before the shipment day. When I install the drapes and found out the product is made incorrectly. Suppose there are 12 carriers on the track and 12 carriers on the drapes to match. However, there are only 10 carriers on the track. So there are 2 carriers on the drapes can’t attach to the track. So I call to customer and they asked me to email them some photos, promise to get back to me in 2 days. But after 2 days no response. I called again to explain the story over again to a different person, email photos twice. Next I ask if I can speak to on-site manager. None can take my call. So I left my contact. Next day one of the managers call me back and explain the situation again. Send photos the third time. This manager said i can’t get full refund even the product is made incorrectly. She needs to reach out to manufacturer and promise to resolve this by the end of the business day. After I show her the first couple of pictures. She demands for more pictures. So I email her more pictures and never get back to me again! Just like to share the overall experience with any potential buyer online. Don’t waste your time and money on something is absolutely worth zero in term of product quality and after sales service. It will be my first time to take legal action to deal with this retail company. NOT SATISFIED! Don’t go blind on blinds.com"
"After I order my window blinds I got a notice A MONTH later that my order will not be made due to limited width of the material that I ordered. Originally they said it will take 2 weeks to be delivered. I checked after 18 days later, they said it will be done shortly. Even the customer service person's voice was so rude! I am so surprised this company is still in business.
It is my very first time I am writing a review to any business that I dealt with.

"I wish I would have read these reviews before buying from Blinds.com. This is my third house of putting plantation shutters in. This is my first time with Blinds.com and is by far the worst customer experience I have ever had. We put in eight windows of shutters and they are crap. For the most part they are made of cheap plastic. We put outside mount shutters on the windows and the trim does not fit together without some sort of gap. Of the eight windows, the only ones that remotely fit the windows were the single side closing shutters. None of the shutters that close to the center fit. One panel was warped.
Now to customer service, first person I talked to was nice, but after sending her pictures and video of the problem, and explaining that I know how to square shutters, she sent me new hinges... None of which I needed. When I got the hinges and verified what I already knew that it wasn't the hinges... The second guy I talked to said he would get with the factory, and would email me on Monday. Never heard back from him. Received a feedback from the CEO, and when I gace him my feedback, he responded and promised that it would be taken care. So, I called back and talked to another customer service person, and reordered two sets shutters to replace the ones that were so bad, and warped that it was not possible to square them without big gaps. The replacement shutters arrived and none of them had hinges. I called customer service again, and they wanted another picture so that they could get with the factory. We'll see, but I am not hopeful.
My recommendation... If you are in the market for plantation shutters, stay away from Blinds.com..."
"$800 for the two windows (one very small) in my daughters room. We needed good blinds because of bright early morning sun. less than 2 years later the shutters turned yellow out side. It looks horrible its the front of our home. But the blinds which were meant to keep the sun has a three year warranty that does not include sum damage!!!!! I'm sorry but if your not using UV protected materials for sun shutters what kind of a business are you. $800 loss before warranty is even up. I was supposed to hear back from blinds.com but thy never called."
"Cheapest garbage on market. But not inexpensive! Every time you open or close them they fall off track. Paced all blinds in our brand new home. Need to replace all 2 months later! GARBAGE! Blinds .com will not help!"
"What king of business doesn't let you speak to a manager? The installation company used by Blinds.com damaged my windows and incorrectly measured them and didn't install them correctly.
I also had to wait 3 weeks for them to come, and then another couple of days to schedule. They installation is the worst part, you can't really schedule a time, because they will cancel on you and change the time last minute. Worst is that the installers had no idea what to do and completely messed up my apartment.
Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from this company. "

"I ordered three large, custom, faux wood blinds. My confirmation arrived with delivery dates that were unacceptable. Per the email, I called within 24 hours to change my order. They said I could not delete just one of the blinds (the one with the delivery date too far out), that I would have to cancel and reorder the other two blinds. Customer service said she would get a sales person to re-do my order. I asked if I would still get my 30% discount. She came back and said, no, the promotion was over. I told her to just let the order go through. She told me she had already cancelled it. I asked her to “un-cancel” it. She said she could not. So now I was faced with getting my 2 blinds for MORE than I was paying for the three! She said there was nothing she could do about it. She should have informed me BEFORE she cancelled my order, that I might not get my discounts. Terrible customer service. On the bright side - after reading many of these other reviews, I am glad I am getting a refund! Would not recommend this company to anyone...."
"I just finished installing. I need a cocktail after that! They will not stay up. I've snapped them into place 50 times and they are so unstable I'm afraid to touch them. I think another style of hardware will help, so I'm going to try that.
Secondly, every set has an unsightly knot on the front top of the blinds where the string is tied off. What the hell? I tried hanging them backwards to hide the freaking knot, but I dont think that's the answer.
I cannot recommend. "
