Install not very well

" They measured perfectly can’t install the blinds however a few days after the install the top bracket I want of the blinds were not home I called to have a corrected and they said they cannot do anything for me except mail me out a new bracket and I can fix it myself "

Terrible Service

"Has taken 3 delivery attempts to get the blinds delivered un damaged. Company continues to insist on using same shipping methods. Even on third delivery box was totally destroyed. This time however the blinds were not damaged but there was no mounting hardware included. Headed into the 3rd month waiting on these. Blinds.com is nice on the phone but offer no solution and plan to improve anything. Trust me when I say you are better off paying more somewhere else!"

Swing and a miss!

"Ordered a patio shade it came in... I had it professionally installed only to find that the interior color which was a dark tan was perfect on the inside...however the outside which everybody can see was a totally different color!!
The customer service person was very polite I send pictures showing how there was manufactured wrong and they told me the manufacture will not do anything for me... The moral of this story is to read Reviews of companies before you do business with them as I can see now by doing post research what a horrible company they are

Vertical blinds not made right

"I spent over $1200.00 on vertical blinds that were not made right. I have called several times and they promise to have the problem looked into, but don’t get a call with a solution. I will wait a few more days before I hand this problem over to my credit card. I would not buy from them again. We are setting here with these blinds all over the floor partially installed not happy "

Totally BS Timeline for Delivery. SO Frustrating!

"Initially Blinds.com was super prompt in sending me fabric samples, and I mistakenly took this to be an indication of their general production schedule. However, When I went to place my actual order, my first 3 fabric selections were not in stock and so I had to settle on a 4th choice. Not ideal, but "ok". My purchased blind was supposed to be produced and to ship within about 2 weeks. Alas, by the third week the website had no indication of shipping. So I called and was told it would be shipping the following week. Soooo... that following week, When I excitedly logged into my account orders expecting to find a tracking number for my shipment, my blinds were STILL IN PRODUCTION! (Wtf!?!!!). I understand that sh** happens—even in the most professional environments. But the fact that that nobody at blinds.com is charged with the accountability to tell customers that There is a problem and that their order will not be delivered even remotely close to the promised date is crazy—especially in this age of timely internet commerce. When I called and spoke to a customer service rep regarding the issue, she was completely understanding, but also completely unwilling to offer me more than 10% off my order (which, I then found out, would not be shipping for another 3 weeks!!!). My experience with blinds.com was that of dealing with a struggling company with zero ownership of its ineptitude. My recommendation to prospective customers is to look elsewhere for your blinds."

"Ordered 4 blinds received 3. Customer service is giving me tracking number as evidence and won't accept anything I say. Multiple blinds were packed in a box, when I opened it there were only 2. To my surprise, they won't even compromise at all; I am even willing to pay for the missing blind AGAIN provided they offer a reasonable discount. This is the first time, I have left a negative feedback for anyone."

Poor Customer Service when needing help.

"I purchased day & night honeycomb blindss for our living room to check quality and service prior to ordering additional blinds for the rest of our home. We have a small dog that jump on and apparently tore (assuming it was the dog that tore them) since they are less that 4 months old. They tore along the horizontal crease just below where they mount, They literally could be moved up one fold and be perfectly fine. When I contacted Blinds.com, I told that the factory that made these blinds (again blinds.com brand) that they don't do service on their own brand. So much for 100% satisfaction guarantee and on their website it says to contact them for repairs. I forgot to mention that they referred me to another Do It Yourself website. Thank you so much for your help and standing behind your own brand of blind. I will definitely look elsewhere when purchasing blinds for the remainder of my home and for rental properties when needed.
A small dog shouldn't be able to tear the material like this.

"The manufacturer they used for my faulty blinds has gone out of business (surprise) and now they want to replace my blind, that sits next to 2 others with another style and color!???!! "

I've bought several times, last two were terrible

"One purchase included a blind with a broken lift (it was not damaged in shipment--it was defective when built)--they send a repair part and required me to install it--not an easy task.
The most recent purchase failed to include required parts and they have not been received after a full week--they say that the missing parts are for a "decorative" trim ignoring that they did not send them on a timely basis and ignoring the fact that I told them that I would have to make a 100 mile round trip to install the parts and ignoring the fact that the missing parts inconvenience the tenant.
Buy somewhere else.

Loved my experience. I learned ALOT from my designer.

"I tried to place my order online to begin with. There was an issue with my card, so it kept getting rejected.
I called in and spoke with a designer late in the evening, (They were about to close). The designer stayed late to help, and went over my order with me before helping me place it. Turns out the information i had gotten from my local hardware store, and several places online were WRONG! I had deducted 1/2" from each blind to account for the hardware and such. (I also only measured 2 of my windows as they were all "Standard" Sizes.)
The designer walked me through the process, and explained that the manufacturer takes the deductions from the factory. so my blinds would have been way too small. PLUS, he walked me through measuring each window one at a time to make sure they were sized correctly. Once again, he was right, as the variances in the windows were pretty extreme at times.

I dont understand these bad reviews. My experience was incredible! I recommend them, and will use them again!

Incompetent service and lack of information between manufacturer, company and customer

"We ordered 11 sets of blinds. First: The corded blinds are near to impossible to hang in any kind of tight corner. Headrails poorly designed for ease of taking off and on to clean. We also got two cordless blinds. Much easier to install. BUT, the manufacturer never bothered to tell us that due to the 1/4” difference in headrails of the two living room blinds, that one would have to have three vertical strings through the slats and the other one would have only 2 strings. These are in our living room and when you close blinds, you can definitely see the difference as the blinds are close together. They refused to make good on this. IF they had let us know before they were made, we would have done something different. BUT, they did not. Talked with customer service about this - the girl said she would call back within 24 hours. I sent her two different emails asking about outcome, never received a reply. Finally, 4 days later, I called company again. Customer service told me it had been resolved, that they couldn’t do anything about it, since it was after the 30 day policy. Due to family issues beyond our control and holidays, we missed the 30 day mark. Since this was obviously a manufacturer dropping the ball, it was self evident they did not match.
I am stuck now, with looking at the mis matched blinds every day, or ordering another pair from another company, and losing about $150 on these two blinds.

I will NEVER order Levolor blinds again, and will never order from this company again.

Poor customer service. And, lack of communication between customer, blind company and manufacturer.

Beware!

"We are a first time buyer with this company. Their house brand blinds we received were not the same size as what we ordered (too narrow) and stuck out to far from our windows. The website does a poor job explaining this. Just got off the phone with them and they only exchanged 4 out of our 6 blinds we purchased. Had to purchase 2 more. Be careful because they have very complicated and hard to understand return policies. We will not use them again."
